Yelp wouldn't let me add North Lakewood and the zipcode listed is wrong, but whatever. I know…read moreyou're asking, "Josh B, what do you mean by North Lakewood?" Well this Lakewood is slightly southwest of Arlington and on the west side of I-5 N on 172nd St Ne. The other Lakewood is between JBLM and Tacoma. So hence the post office I am reviewing is in what locals have deemed North Lakewood as it is North of Seattle. Type North Lakewood, WA into GoogleMaps. You'll see. :) There is hardly any parking lot though and I kind of felt where I actually parked was someone's property. I took my picture and quickly left because I thought someone was going to come outside and give me a piece of their mind for parking on private property. Don't bother typing this into your GPS though as it will probably be listed as Marysville or something of the likes. Cute little post office though.

The clerk takes my package and roughly bends it back and forth after I told her it was a book!!! what is wrong with that woman? This clerk needs retraining or FIRED!!! But of course, she is entitled and protected by the libtard woke union slug establishment and she is a "real-estate agent" also don't do business with her or the company she contracts with! They also cram mail in your PO box even if it doesn't fit correctly and damages the other mail in your box and the packaging. Real issues here no wonder the PO in failing and going bankrupt? Over paid, low skills, poor customer service and UNION PROTECTED equals failure in service to the citizens customers! And management in the PO has its head in the sand intentionally!

Some businesses/organizations start out great and then become utterly horrible…read more Y'all, I'm here to tell you that some places can do the opposite. The first year or two of living in Lake Stevens, I was terrified of going to the post office and had multiple pieces of mail and packages misdelivered, only to find the Postal Annex a black hole of unanswered phone calls. You could only file a missing package inquiry after a certain period of time, and when they finally called to follow up, would basically say "we can check but tbh it's very likely gone forever." THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE. The staff working the counter at the Lake Stevens Post Office this past year (when I attempted to visit again) has been phenomenal. I can only remember Sheena by name, but have been helped by 3-4 different staff throughout the past several months and every single visit has been just stellar. They are SO patient, kind, and professional - especially as I have been attempting to start a small business and figure out the wonderful world of shipping items (which is stressful in and of itself). I haven't received neighbors' mail in a long time, and as far as I know, have received all of mine. I am so appreciative of the current staff and their hard work when they are still so slammed. Thank you for turning my visits from something of dread and panic, to something I actually (weirdly?) look forward to!
