Today may have been off but there was no line, get in fast and all was trying to mail a package I had to pay for a roll of tape and label. The man who walked up to help snatching the items you need to pay for the tape and label. Of course, can you let me know how much it will be to ship. He offers me three options. Okay the 4 day shipping is fine. Which was $25. He asks if I would like insurance up to $100. He just kept looking at me. I'm like sir can you tell me how much it will be please 2 times. Third time, look sir I've asked you 3 times how much you are going to charge me for the insurance. Then oh it's free. Okay well if it's free add it please. Then he takes a tape measure out of the drawer and measure the box. Rings me up for $4 tape $25 shipping and $1 label. Total is $52. Sir can you explain the costs. The box is too big, even after he weighed it and asked me for the price I chose. He raised the shipping from $25 for 4 shipping to $40 with 4 day shipping. I said you changed the price and I don't even want to send the baby clothing now. The man said sorry, it's not my fault. Can I just have my receipt. I don't know why you changed the price for something I don't even want to send now. You lied. The faces popped up for me to review my service. He tried to block the screen and was mad I pressed the sad face. I won't be returning to this office for any further services. read more

Wow, I forgot that customer service could be this good. I came to this post office to get a passport today and every single employee greeted me, complemented me, and was so friendly to me and the whole process maybe took eight minutes we were in and out so simple. We walked to the parking lot and I was overcome with the thoughts of how you don't get customer service like this anymore and I really appreciate it. Thank you to all the staff! read more

Lady's at the front desk thank you for being kind and changing my experience with passport services. I was very afraid after a bad experience in Vallejo and getting yelled at. Service was done with patience and walked me through the steps. I appreciate people like this. read more

Not wondering why this post office has one star. At 3 pm today September 30, a postal worker man mid age was so rude when asked if they are closed. Honestly the door was open so whatever sign he was saying was posted there I did not see , not everyone reads esp if door is open the opposite direction. You just wanna go in. First time at this location and this guy instead of answering me politely and decently , sarcastically answered me "did you read the sign at the door?". Rude, impolite, discourteous, mean! The # of words he impatiently answered me is equivalent to what an educated man should suppose to answer and he chose to be a bad entity! 0 star for your etiquette!!! read more

I had the item I purchased stolen out of the package. This was a Christmas gift. I work hard for my money and chose this gift for a friend. I now have to purchase another gift. I don't think it's fair that employees do this! There should be a protocol and process that needs to change in order for this not to happen. read more

I have visit this location 5 times to establish a new address, no one helping and keep saying come next time

Their drivers do silly stuff like give you a form to pick up your package, but then leave you a handwritten note on it saying something like "just sign and ill redeliver" Now this person has thrown a wrench in the gears, as I went the next day with my form to find out they didn't feel like bringing my item back to the office - when they could have just left the form and brought my package back to the post office the same night, making my life harder to simplify theirs. read more

Very unprofessional customer service!! I went in with my mom to get her passport renewed sent and the lady told us we had to make an appointment online. We get home and we cannot make an appointment as my mom qualifies for an online renewal. We went in the next day to get an envelope to track the form and she was furious that we were there again and without an appointment. She treated us horribly. I cannot believe Napa's Post Office has this type of service in our community, I know we are all going through hard times, but we need to set aside during work hours or get help. I have a roll of FOREVER stamps that opened this past weekend. THEY DO NOT STICK!! So, I went in to the post office this morning. I waited in a very long line because they only had one window open at 9AM. I explained that my FOREVER stamps would not stick to the envelopes I wanted to mail over the weekend. I had the Full Roll of stamps in a baggie, both the roll and the ones that I'd attempted to use. She looked at them and pulled one off and insisted it would stick. She kept insisting they were fine, but I told her I was not comfortable using them due to the likelihood that the stamps would come off the envelope and not get to its destination due to no postage on the envelope even though I HAD applied what they deem to be a perfectly fine stamp. She went to get a "Higher Up". MANGEEP, who said she was the STATION MANGER, then said they could not exchange them Without A Receipt. I asked her Could not, or WOULD not?? The paper label surrounding the roll of stamps says US FLAG 2018. Sorry, I don't have a receipt for a roll of FOREVER STAMPS from 2018. No receipt, No exchange, No Exceptions! So F O R E V E R doesn't mean anything! I asked for the Postmaster. Of course I was told he was busy but she'd give me his name and direct phone #. I went out to my car to call the # I'd been given and noted that all it said was POSTMASTER. No Name Given. The phone # I was given, 707-255-0360, rings a few times and disconnects - Every Single Time. As does the main # to this PO, 707-255-0190. No one EVER answers the phone. Horrible Service. I called the 800# for Customer Service. ASHTON was beyond helpful and we reached a solution to this problem. She also said "It was odd that they even asked you for a receipt. They should not have." Unprepared, only has a few people working at a time when there's a huge line waiting to be served. Came to pick up a package when they told me that the carrier wouldn't attempt and redeliver it, was assured more than once that the item would be at the post office and I could pick it up and that wasn't the case. Very disappointed in this service... And not to mention the tiny parking space if you can call it that. I certainly hope they move it back to where they had the main office. read more

After months of late mail delivery (many days delivery is after 6:00 pm, and has been as late as 9:30 pm), slow services (priority mail for delivery 90 miles away took 7 days), I guess my patience is gone. Yesterday, an important package I was expecting was labeled on tracking as "out for delivery." When it had not arrived by 7:00 pm, I signed up for a "package delivered" text alert so I wouldn't have to keep going out in the rain to look for it. As of 10:00pm last night, the package had not been delivered, and there was no further update entry on the tracking history page. This morning, I received a text saying the carrier could not complete the delivery attempted at 7:54 pm last night due to "animal interference" ! I presume this refers to dogs who pose a threat to the carrier, a legitimate concern. However, that is not the case here. I have a dog who is outside only on a leash and only with me -- and, the dog was not outside after 6:00 pm yesterday. With all the challenges of 2020, I am sure the postal carriers are greatly overworked; however, the service needs to be truthful with customers. When USPS lies and falsely blames the customer's dog, in what becomes a matter of public record, it could have serious consequences should there ever be an accusation of any incident involving the dog in the future. This false entry on the record must be corrected immediately!! read more

So glad our tax dollars go to this racket. The supervisor Amy is completely incompetent and lazy at her job. As a power eBay seller I give my local USPS office thousands of dollars in business each year. But as soon as the post office loses my package they brush me off with a,new excuse waiting my time repeatedly. Third visit in two weeks and they've sent me on another goose chase to recover my funds from the item they lost. I will be taking my business to ups. No wonder USPS is a dieing industry when they lose your package and provide completely useless customer service. read more

Horrible. Does not even deserve the one star. They never answer the phone. It just rings and rings until off it goes off the hook. I was expecting a package that was OUT FOR DELIVERY. When it didn't show up with the rest of my items that day, the new tracking info said it was "Held at Post Office at request of the customer". Um, I did NOT request that, I want my item delivered! But I called the main national USPS number (since these guys don't answer the phone), and they just scheduled for redelivery. Then, it said "no access to address"! WTAF!?? I had 3 other packages delivered that day from USPS, so clearly that's not the issue. This is a terrible service, and I don't know what to do other than use alternate carriers. I really just wanted to talk to someone on the phone to get this straightened out so I could get my item, but no. I still have not received it. read more
