Because of the size I decided to compare shipping quotes to see if there was any difference. To my amazement Mike @ Mail Service Center actually quoted me less than half of all the other shippers which made my purchase a real win. When I called the number in the window for the postmaster, a man answered and told me he is the manager and the woman I was asking for retired.... they havent even updated that information. He told me his employee was "going to be a few minutes late but she's on her way". That was 30 minutes after they were supposed to open. He apologized but did not try to remedy the problem. We went back a little later (before closing time) and they STILL werent there. We had a gift to pick up for someone and havent been able to. The manager needs to get some employees that actual want a job and care.

It's conveniently located in a shopping center off of Baltimore Pike and has plenty of parking available. I wasn't sure what to do when I got inside so I just stood in line. As soon as a rep was free she asked if I had a prepaid label and if I scanned it yet. When I said yes and no, she came from behind the counter and led me to the self scanner, start here if your package is ready to go with a prepaid label. Just hold the barcode under the scanner and take it to the counter when you get a successful beep, and it will print your receipt. Drop the package at the counter and you're done! The girl that helped me was very friendly and knew I didn't know what to do, so her customer service and attitude were appreciated. Can't say much about the value as it was a prepaid label, but I am sure it's in line with other major shippers in the area. They have lots of packing materials for sale if you should need any, and friendly service. Highly recommend this location.

Cheryl, the main postmistress, is really sweet. She has traveled all over the world and has amazing stories. Hours and size are not as extensive as other USPS locations nearby, but this PO is appropriate to the section of town it serves. (Gradyville used to be all farm, now it's becoming developed.) Note hours, because they close for lunch. Handy access off of Middletown Rd / Route 352, with a Sunoco nextdoor, and a neat antiques store across the street.

One of the guys there is rude and 100% incompetent…read more On Friday he complained I gave him too many envelopes 38 to be exact which I nicely said I could take elsewhere if it's too much of a problem. I certainly get when something is not doable and I never expect immediate turn around and can come back later or the next day which I normally do. Immediately he tells me they are more expensive then the price I've paid. I've been shipping the same thing for a month. We finally straighten that out. I'm not even arguing with him. His response, "Do you live around here? Can you come back tomorrow and I'll have it figured out and you can pay." Me: "Do you want my contact so you can call when it's done." His response: "No." I come back the next day and he says, "If these weren't so time consuming I'd have it done." I could have gone somewhere else, he could have called me or have told me it would take until Monday. To top it off, I was not mean, I was not pushy but the guy was rude and I could see the way he spoke to other costumers that he's losing the post office money.
