I have a home business and print postage for my sold items at home and then take them to this post…read moreoffice. For a time the hours were irregular and service also but lately the staff is friendly and available and always have a bin behind the cafe door for me to dump my boxes. If you have to wait in line for service you may find it tests your patience a bit.

A confusing space to say the least. The buildings sign is prominently located on Concord Pike…read morehowever the building itself sits in back of and off to the side of the Firehouse. I use to think this post office was inside the Firehouse because it has no other signage. Inside they have three separate stations. One for....well I'm not really sure but you can stand there and someone will come to that desk (for lack of a better word) and assist you. Then there is the regular line where the post office people are and then a third area for passports. I needed to mail something certified. I've never done it before but I knew it required a green slip. I did not see them at the line so I stepped forward and told the lady. She handed it to me and made me go away to fill it out. It wasn't until I was leaving that I noticed all the different post office slips on the other side of the line in which I had stood. So my sole purpose of this review is to let you know that any paperwork that needs to be filled out is at the counter on the opposite side of the very line you are standing in. Confusing review. Yeah I know. Sorry.

It was never a great location, but thanks to construction on Gov. Printz Blvd. it has only gotten…read moreworse. I made the mistake of turning on Gov. Prinz from Marsh Rd. I drive past the post office on my left...and keep driving...and driving...and driving. The turn lane is gone, and there is no way to get across the road for what seems like forever. Finally there's a place to turn around and I am able to park right up front and pick up my certified piece of mail. The moral of this story is....if you're going here, pick a route where the post office will be on the right side of the road. I can't recall the names of the other streets that you can turn down from Philadelphia Pike, but they are out there, and will save you the trouble of having to find a place to u-turn.

THIS IS A LIVE REVIEW! THIS IS HAPPENING NOW!…read more By far, this is the absolute WORSE post office in the UNITED STATES! I have been waiting for the 'acting' manager for over 20 minutes! He has not come out OR said he's sorry for the delay! The mail carrier who is supposed to deliver packages doesn't want to get out of the truck, so they'll just login and say that they TRIED to deliver, and that they left a slip on the door! NEITHER IS TRUE! No KNOCK! NO SLIP! This has been the third time that this HAS HAPPENED within the last few months! After waiting nearly a HALF HOUR, they're now telling me that BARRY THE 'ACTING' manager left! Yet, I HAVE BEEN WAITING 30 minutes!!! I left with a complaint form!

On December 2024, I rented P.O box at the Trolley Square station. The box was closed without my…read moreconsent. After I complained, it was reopened. I subsequently paid for its renewal, demonstrating my intent to maintain the service, Systemic Failure Begins: Despite my payment, the post office again closed my box and changed the lock. Astonishingly, they continued to place mail into a locked box to which I was denied access. Complete Loss of Mail: For months, each visit to the post office to inquire about my mail was met with the same response from clerks: "We don't know where your mail is." During this time, I complained to the Postmaster for Wilmington, and Postal Service, to no avail, if anything it made the situation worse. Two months ago, (September 2025), I spoke with the new supervisor who acknowledged the problem. He personally delivered a large accumulation of my mail a few days later. This confirmed that my mail was being held within the facility, inaccessible to me. Since that one-time delivery, I have received no mail whatsoever. In fact, 11/19/25, I received a call from Delmarva Power requesting my new address, I told the young lady that that I'm still at the same address. She then explained that the post office sent my mail back and wrote on the envelope, "return to sender, moved wear about unknown ." This is not a case of intermittent service; it is a complete blackout of my postal delivery. On November 17, 2025 I visited the Rodney Square office. The clerk, who was visibly annoyed, again stated she did not know where my mail was and, when I requested to speak with the supervisor, I was told he was not available. The consequences of their shameful failures are not merely inconvenient; they are catastrophic. * Financial Security: My bank sent a new debit card six weeks ago. It has never been delivered, leaving me without secure access to my funds. * Loss of Vital Benefits: Most devastatingly, the Delaware Department of Labor sent time-sensitive correspondence regarding my unemployment claim. Because the post office held this mail for over three months, the deadline to respond expired. As a direct result, my unemployment benefits have been terminated, and I'm now indebted to the state of Delaware for a portion of the payment received.
