Customer service is horrendous. The gentleman I spoke with was rude and condescending.

This is a larger branch of the USPS and my review has improved because the service has IMPROVED! There are now 3 cashiers/clerks on duty during the "busy time" but only 2 over lunch. Still wish that stayed open later (after 5 PM) once a week. But I guess no USPS's do this? Anyhow the lobby is open if you have a PO Box or need to self-ship. read more

This Post Office is like a bad SNL skit. One person at the desk or none at all. Long lines. Miserable employees. How can this be Media's Post Office? Terrible. Go somewhere else and save yourself time and an inevitable headache. read more

This is a PO and a distribution center. It is the largest of the 19063 zip post offices, and is most centrally located, as the only PO in Media Borough. * * * NOTE: At the time of this listing, the Yelp hours for Saturday are incorrect. Should be 10am-1pm. They normally have multiple clerks available along the counter, which can house up to 5 or 6 customers at a time. My past few visits, there have been three open, but at holiday time I have seen all going, and a line out the door. They are normally reasonably well-paced here. I wouldn't call them quick, but they're not annoyingly slow either. Many of the employees at this location have been there forever, so you'll learn their familiar faces over time. In the past I've shared many home renovations woes with Bernadette, whose house is long since finished and beautiful, while mine, eh, that's another review. When I've had to call for something, I've had mixed results. Many calls have been to ask about hours, or services offered at this facility, or to get the number for my annex when no one answered there, etc. Oddly, I recently had to call due to a package misdelivered to Media, instead of reaching me in the next town over. The agent who helped me was conscientious about looking into things, but unfortunately ended up wasting 2 hours of my time unnecessarily. He claimed that they'd be able to allow me to pick up the parcel, but knowing the address had been screwed up by the company I ordered from, I told him it was probably against federal rules for me to obtain it, and it likely had to be sent back and re-shipped. The agent insisted on another reality, where I'd be able to provide a license with different town name, and still retrieve the package. He was so convincing, that I put all reason and experience aside to believe this was some new rule that allowed it (like USPS is going to ever go the way of fewer restrictions, rather than more of them). I delayed everything I had to do that day, waiting on this guy to call back. He never did. When I inquired 2 hours later, he informed me of exactly what I had supposed to him earlier in the day, against his insistence otherwise. No apologies, and not even any acknowledgement of his bad. Extremely frustrating! Long story short, I don't recommend calling, because they are not helpful, and not very informed about how their own PO is supposed to work. You'd hope a larger PO like this would have it together, but no such luck on Monroe in Media. They used to have a local mail drop in their lobby (for Media zip, or in neighboring towns), which would get local letters to the recipient almost the same day! Unfortunately, this disappeared in the past few years. There is still a slot, just for all mail, and it's no faster than the dropbox. I do recommend this location for the counter, though. Growing up, my closest PO was Elwyn, and the woman who worked the lone window there for the longest time was AWFUL. She was so sullen and mean. She actually now works at this Media location, but while in the company of her peers, she tones down the hatred. Marty handled a large stack of envelopes and did it with out making me feel bad! I was nervous as the post office down the street turned it down (makes sense they only had 1 person) and I had another post office take the stack said they'd do it and then the next day when I came in to pay for it it wasn't worked on, and the guy was rude. There is one particular postal worker that works the front that is so rude and nasty with people I will not go here. She looks miserable, acts miserable and treats people like she is bothered. This branch should really examine who they have interacting with the public. read more

I just stood in line for a very long time to get stamps in the Media Post Office. The line was long but when only one person was in front of me, two people at the rear of the line jumped ahead of me and everyone else who was patiently waiting behind me for their turn. Not only did the clerks take their mail (perhaps they knew them?), but when I questioned the fairness of the situation, I was the one who got yelled at and the clerk just wailed "Jesus, give me strength," if she were somehow being persecuted. I asked to speak to the manager and when he came, he was utterly unconcerned that the line jumpers were violating the sign that says in English "Line starts here." This post office is very poorly run and has an unprofessional, rude staff who don't have any common courtesy or respect for the customers who keep the place open by their patronage. I for one will never go back to this sad example of the decline of contemporary civil society in this country. read more

Helpful staff, friendly. Good hours and the fact that the lobby is 24/7 is great (provided the self service machine is working). There are some types of mailing that aren't available self service (media mail for example) but overall it is good post office. read more

Staff always friendly! Never had an issue here and come multiple times! Things get busy around holidays, so lines are longer but that is expected for any post office. I am here offen and I have never once had an issue. Staff are always helpful . Will continue to come here! read more

Typical post office with the typical amenities PLUS an after- hours, self-service package scale/ postage meter. Great when you have one of those big envelopes to mail and you don't have the time or schedule to get to the post office when the window is open. read more

Well .......Post Office? I was gonna give them a Christmas gift this year but after eighteen calls to Media Post Office and The Inspector General......we still aren't getting our mail!!! Beware of this Post Office. I don't believe complaints are investigated. We waited and waited since June for our mail to arrive.........no such luck......seems like a lazy staff or mail theft by Landlord.........who no one is watching for some odd reason......Mail complaints should be investigated thoroughly. Warning in Media.....watch your mail..if it seems strange.....it is......report it...but I wouldn't put much stock in their investigations.......lazy? read more

If i could give them zero stars i would. They never have enough people working and the place is totally mismanaged. Most of them seem miserable and even if the line is out the door they move as slow as they possibly can. I would not have a job if i worked like they did. I was there today and was told the manager is Dan Delucca. So Dan, if you see 15 people waiting in line you may want to come help out next time. It is really common sense and not rocket science. Expecting a package from ebay, tracking number said it was out for delivery today. Didn't get package, ran down postman who looked thru his truck and said he didn't have it. Call PO twice and told it was put on the wrong truck and I should get it tomorrow, if not call usps and file a complaint. Ridiculous. No "Sorry sir, I will get in touch with the postman and find your package" If fact, nobody even asked me my name. Nobody takes any responsibility for anything. This package is worth well over $100 and they pretty much say "if you don't get it, too bad" How hard is it to look at the address on a piece of mail and put it on the proper truck? If this doesn't show up tomorrow I will be back on here with a vengence read more
