We attempted to ship an iPhone last month at this location…read more A different package showed up, but it had the same label as the iPhone that was shipped. My wife called the store, and was told the manager would call back, but he never did so my wife went to the store and spoke with him. He said that he would investigate and get back to her. Once again, the return call never came, so I went to the store with my wife once again. On arrival, we told the manager that we were waiting for his return call, he told us how he has 3 stores to manage and he needed to look at 5 hours of video tape because he can't rewind/ff the video machine. We were then told that he would get back to us either the next day or the day after, he needed to contact the hub and open a claim. Once again, there was no return call, so 4 days later I decided to call Corporate and see if a claim was opened. No one could find a claim; I was sent to one phone number after another. One number that I was referred to, sent to other departments, only to be sent back to the original number. Support is set up through the Locally Franchised stores, if you don't have the Local Store Support contacting Corporate, it is extremely difficult to open your own claim. As part of the process, I was referred back to the Local Store several times for required information that the local store label calls one thing, but the Corporate Claim form calls something else. You are put in a situation where the Local Store is saying it's Corporate and Corporate is saying it's the Local Store. If you are able to get an answer from the Local Store! I gave up trying to file my own claim and went back to the store 9 days later, we had still not received any call back from the manager. Our conversation was not cordial, as the manager was immediately hostile upon my arrival. I assumed it was because he once again didn't do what he said he would do. I see a lot of responses about providing World-Class Services. My expectations of World-Class Services would have included: * My wife is a senior who returns online purchases but doesn't ship anything of value. Since you are the "Shipping Experts" a recommendation to insure the package would have been nice, especially an item so susceptible to theft. * A Manager who doesn't view their customers with problems as burdens on their time! * A Manager who builds trust with customers by following through on promises made and providing reliable information to customers with UPS delivery issues. * A Service Provider who provides transparency with investigations. The information that I received from this claim is a claim number (that I don't have authority to access) and a picture of the wrong package being delivered. When I asked Corporate if there were any pictures of the package as it left the store. I was told that the Local Store does not have to share the pics or video .........what!!! It appears that it is just cheaper to pay a claim than try to find out what happened, we lost over $700 on this transaction. Even if it was insured, just pay it and move on. We tried to ship another iPhone, this time we had T-Mobile ship it, once again through UPS. This one they tracked to the Miami Hub where it "disappeared". We are going to try again, but this time using FedEx.

Although U-haul sets the rates, I found that the rental only facility to be more amicable and include blankets and hand trucks in each vehicle w/o add'l cost. Staff was helpful, honest at the 'rental only'. Storage facility staff are total sales people, trying to sell you the store. Oh, "rental only" trucks were always clean. Had to rent different trucks past 2 weekends with success.

Wish I could rate negative on the site, not just about this Media location but about the Uhaul…read morecompany as a whole. I have always used Uhaul for my needs for moving. Two weeks ago I reserved a moving van at the Media, Pa. location for a move this Saturday 12/10. I received a call the evening of Thursday 12/8 that the van would not be available at the location that I requested but was available at their Wilmington DE location. I was offered a 10' truck which I accepted as a substitute. I was put on hold and then told that the truck would not be available either. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that Kyle, at the 808 Service Center, who called me was the Manager. I asked that the 9' van that I had reserved be moved to Media as I did not have time to make other arrangements. I was told that this could not happen. I was abruptly put on hold and transferred to Customer Service. Customer Service also told me the same things and I asked for a transcript of the conversation. Customer Service without my request transferred me back to somebody who I later was made aware was Kyle from the 808 Service Center again. I have cancelled my order with Uhaul and will never use Uhaul again. In addition, I will do everything that I can, including posting on every multimedia page, about the horrible and rude customer service of Uhaul. As a public company, I would expect the employees in this company would be trained and that they would not disappoint their customers like they have me. I will continue to watch their stock only to see that they are punished as the horrible customer service company that they are. I would say based on my most recent experience that you cannot rely on a company like Uhaul for your moving needs.

It's conveniently located in a shopping center off of Baltimore Pike and has plenty of parking available. I wasn't sure what to do when I got inside so I just stood in line. As soon as a rep was free she asked if I had a prepaid label and if I scanned it yet. When I said yes and no, she came from behind the counter and led me to the self scanner, start here if your package is ready to go with a prepaid label. Just hold the barcode under the scanner and take it to the counter when you get a successful beep, and it will print your receipt. Drop the package at the counter and you're done! The girl that helped me was very friendly and knew I didn't know what to do, so her customer service and attitude were appreciated. Can't say much about the value as it was a prepaid label, but I am sure it's in line with other major shippers in the area. They have lots of packing materials for sale if you should need any, and friendly service. Highly recommend this location.
