This place has the absolute worst communication logistics EVER!!! I've never seen anything like it honestly. I was supposed to have my package delivered only to have my package marked as returned to sender due to insufficient address so I went to post office directly to pick it up only to be told that I wouldn't be able to pick it up until 9am I then ran into the delivery post man on my route and he said he would hold the package for me personally the following day as well which was fine. However when I arrived to pick up my package the employees informed me that my package had been returned ANYWAY!!! The stupidest shit ever!!! Their system is so shitty and nobody knows how or why?!?! Absolutely horrible. I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this post office. I arrived minutes before closing, but the doors were already closed early. Another customer, who had been waiting even before me said they close 10 minutes prior to her arrival after she drove here in horrible LA traffic and even though she arrived before 15 minutes before 6. The staff ignored her completely and laughed at her. They finally made eye contact with us at 6 p.m. and then claimed it was too late, despite her and I and 2 other guests having been there earlier. literally the absolute worst customer service I have ever received from the nasty attitudes to the clearly don't want to be there employees (not to accuse all of them) rhe funny part is they will not give their names when asked after being mistreated. I hope this reaches management and they do something about that because it seems they are unprofessional and flat out mean to customers. my first negative encounter was with an African American security girl a couple maybe 3 months ago when would not give her name but was very rude and did not need to speak in the tone she did or as loud as she spoke it. The lady who sits at the far left desk when you first walk in has been very rude on a number of occasions. She is always stationed on the left. She is heavy set/large build with short black bob for hair: she yells at you like you aren't a human it's beyond degrading and she too would not give her name when asked. I needed assistance and she yelled at me and then proceeded to chit chat with other employee they were sharing personal stories laughing and gossiping the other lady employee- who kept her back turned never once acknowledged me. Maybe im being overly sensitive as I just got discharged from hospital but it really upsets me that they fail to provide basic customer service and act like you as a customer for being there is putting them out. I took a photo for management. interpersonal communication skills and professionalism isn't asking for much. Overall, aside from the two male employees, many of the staff here come across as a bit arrogant and easily irritated. Especially, Ms. Arnetta gave me a particularly unpleasant experience. It was almost my turn, and I briefly stepped to the counter just to pull a piece of tape. When I returned to my spot--literally a moment later--she suddenly raised her voice loud enough for everyone to look at me, saying, "How do you think you can cut in line?" I explained that I was actually next, but she didn't say anything. She just stared at me for a few seconds and then asked for my package. I was surprised by how unnecessarily rude and reactive her behavior was, and even more surprised that it seems to go completely unchecked. This isn't a private shipping shop, and some basic customer service training would really help. I avoid this post office whenever possible. The staff are unhelpful, rude, and seem to take pride in making customers miserable. Once, the self-serve postage machine was down, forcing me to wait over 20 minutes in line. One employee reprimanded me for not writing the address directly on the box (which isn't necessary when using the automated machine, as it prints the address on the postage), even though I had the address on a post-it note. He refused to type it in and print the label for me because I didn't have a pen. He begrudgingly loaned me a marker but then told me to get back in line instead of letting me wait nearby while he helped other customers. After another 20-minute wait, I reached the counter again, refused his help, and asked for someone else. Naturally, they slapped a big computer-printed label over all my handwriting anyway. Infuriating. Another time, I tried dropping off a prepaid package just before closing in the quick drop area, only to have an employee standing watch over the bin wag her finger at me and point to a flimsy sign that said "no dropoffs after 5pm," even though they don't close until 6pm. This team seems intent on making customers jump through hoops rather than providing decent service. It feels lazy, and like they've all got an axe to grind. I've since switched all my business to UPS and even drop USPS packages with them because, at least there, customers are treated with respect. read more

I felt very betrayed by this location as they hire a private security company to ticket the public without proper signage that after hours this lot is sold to a parking service to make money. The price sign is intentionally placed above the car on the right as you drive in, not on the left next to the USPS office where a driver can see it especially after 6pm in darkeness & rain. Also along the side of the blue building wall there is no signs for paid parking at all. You can find a couple tiny signs on the opposite side of the parking lot behind the row of cars to the right which are not lit nor reflective in darkness or rain. Pretty disappointing way to handle people especially when your represent a public office and interest. read more

Myrtle has one of the most rudest and demonic attitudes I have ever seen in customer service. So nasty and so rude. Service and communication was very poor. They rather gossip than attend customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I came here for walk in passport services before reading other reviews. Was told by a clerk that walk in appointments were not available at this location (even though it clearly states online that they are). The clerk directed me to use a kiosk to book an appointment, when I did, it gave me the same information as online that shows no open appointments and that walk-ins are available. I returned to the clerk and asked to speak to the passport person who should have started their shift (according to the website) 30 minutes prior. He said she's not here she doesn't really get in until around 10 AM, I would urge everybody who has a bad experience at this post office to lodge a formal complaint through USPS. Note: I ended up driving to the Alvarado location in Echo Park. They were not busy, efficient, very friendly and well air-conditioned. Completed my Passport application with 10 mins. read more

It is a hit or miss here. Some of the clerks are so kind and helpful, they are worth waiting for. Other clerks are outright mean to people. There is always a line, but if you get a nice clerk, It is no worry. Best to use the self-serve, if you can. There are two machines inside, but the service area, and two in the lobby. For Passport, they say they take walk ins till 11:30am on Saturdays but they will cut off at 10:30am and will only take the first 5 people in line already at the time. Doesn't matter if you've been waiting for over an hour. Very unprofessional workers there as they will tell you to shut up when you're trying to get a point across. read more

Postal workers here usually are okay. Maybe 3 1/2 stars. Kinda of a hit and miss location. Before 3 or 4pm is pretty good, after 4:30 or 5pm gets pretty packed sometimes. If the parking lot is full and you have to wait for a parking space, it's a long line inside also. They do have a self service machine that helps out sometimes, as long as it works also. Sometimes the transient homeless people here can be a little pesty here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR PASSPORT!!! Extremely rude employees and inefficient service. I went to the passport window and after standing there for 5 minutes to let someone know I had arrived for my appointment, one of the postal workers (older Caucasian man with white hair) yelled, "If you're here for a passport appointment go behind the sign!!!!!" There was no sign at the passport window that communicated this, and also the employee could have shared this information in a more professional way. (The tiny sign where you wait behind, btw, is on the other side of the post office.) At 9:30, an employee (older Asian woman) appeared adjacent to the passport window. I went back to the window and said that I had a passport appointment for 9:30. The extremely rude employee barked out that the "passport clerk" doesn't arrive until 10 and "to wait over there!". 20 minutes later she decided to help me, flipping though my expired passport and exclaiming, "What is this??!" and questioning me about my name. I mean, come on. Thankfully I forgot a document in my car so I used that as an excuse to get out of that dungeon as quickly as possible. I found out that some libraries offer passport services so I will do that instead. read more

I love living in my neighborhood, however, the Los Feliz Post Office is the absolute worst. Any time I've done a mail hold I request the carrier to deliver accumulated mail. Instead, they throw it away. They threw away my ballot, my new health insurance card, and all my tax forms! Incredible work. The person who delivers to my building refuses to deliver packages, always marking that there was nowhere to leave the package. No room in the empty and unlocked mail room? Weird! After significant back and forth with the manager (and 3 weeks later) the package will finally arrive mysteriously looking like it was run over by a mail truck multiple times and held together with USPS tape. Been inside once in order to drop off mail. I usually just drop off mail by driving up to the mailbox which is located at the exit of their parking lot. Their parking lot is a pretty good size, but when they are busy and the lines are long inside the post office, it can take awhile to get a spot. the old, tired, frumpy looking rude lady behind the counter today was so awful. Clearly taking a bad existence out on everyone else around her. Plz put her in the back nowhere near customers. If I catch her name I'll update this. Make sure to drop ur packages off at 5pm on the dot, tried to drop 3 small packages off at 5:05 and was told NO & THAT I HAD TO COME BACK TOMORROW. Mind you, the place is open till 6pm lol. My packages were already labeled and ready to go just had to drop them in the bin. I USED SELF CHECK OUT. They wouldn't have to lift a finger, I did all the work myself at self checkout. I should be an employee there for real. I also ship there almost everyday since i sell online, and was treated like garbage. I should have spoke to a manager and probably still will, tomorrow. I get if I came at 5:15 or 5:30, but the line to even get parking took 15 minutes making me too late to drop off my package. Anyways, hopefully I get her name, cause this person should not be employed or at least dealing with customers with her rotten, roach infested personality. As someone who is loyal to this USPS location, I was taken back by this. The lack of care for people and the items they are sending, of which keeps you in a job, shocked me. Every time I come here it is simply a delight!!! The people are so friendly , the layout is efficient , and the customer service is beyond par!! They have lots of parking street and lot; not one ,but 4 electronic mail machines so you don't have to wait in lines which you can also buy stamps at. And they have a separate line for drop-offs and passports ! Also they do have ample amount of P.O. Boxes! While your inline they also have someone that can device special needs and get you a receipt to mail Packages etc- they are beyond friendly here and I truly wish every post office was like this! read more

Since I've moved back to Los Angeles, this post office and I have become BFFs for a very inconvenient reason: it seems the previous tenants at my residence did not bother to complete a change of address form, and I was getting bombarded with mail that was decidedly not mine. For several weekends, I'd walk into this post office and drop off mail to return to sender. Despite my exasperation, the staff members at this post office would patiently help me and assist me in filling out forms to hopefully prevent any future mistaken deliveries. I know that post offices can often get a bad rap, but I've found the employees here to be consistently friendly. Parking is available, and the line moves fairly quickly even though I've mostly visited on Saturdays. read more

I've come here multiple times over the years to ship letters and packages (including paid and free merchandise returns from online stores) and service has always been professional and effective. That said, the lines are always long so it takes a while. I often purchase envelopes on site and use their pens, markers, tape etc. They also have self-serve kiosks, although I rarely use those. So I've never liked the people at this USPS. They are consistently rude but there are several that have a real attitude problem. I always come in being polite and whenever I have a question that's when the problem starts. People here are just lazy AF. Today I inquired about forwarding mail to a new address as the person doesn't live with me anymore and they said "you can't forward it for them" and just said to throw away their mail. Um? Excuse me? I told them I read online I could fill out a form and also write on the mail to forward to a new address and this old white guy just said no I can't. Here's what really pissed me off - this skinny black guy in his 60's (Roderick is his name) with glasses is constantly grumbling to himself saying: "you got people telling you that you can't what don't you get" while smirking and laughing and shaking his head. I go up to him and say "excuse me, are you talking about me?" And he goes "yes I am, it amazes me how people just don't understand" and knocks at his head (basically insinuating that I'm dumb or something). I just told him that this had NOTHING to do with him and that he should mind his own business. I've had one too many bad experiences here but this is by far the worst one and I refuse to subject myself to these miserable, terrible workers. I'm going to see if I can file a formal complaint because judging by the reviews, a lot of people find the workers rude here. read more

This post office is complete trash. Missing packages, non delivered mail, bad attitudes from staff, priority mail never delivered on time and the so called post master Maria is a complete waste of a job. I've reported the post master, mail carrier and staff by name to OLG, post master general and Adam Schiff's office. I received responses within the same week. Today the awful mail carrier lady knocked on my door to have me sign for my mail and was shaking in her boots. Seems like someone reached out to her and her "gang". Fingers crossed I will no longer have to deal with their/her harassment. Just a suggestion make a complaint to the above mentioned, seemed to have done some good for my situation. read more
