Raul was so nice. Perhaps the the most polite/helpful post office employee I've ever encountered. I frequent post offices in LA often and this one is by far my favorite because of the short waiting time and kind service. Super shocking and rare!

This is an old building that has a bit of character still left in it. I was in need of some postcard stamps but unfortunately they are not in demand in this area so they had none available in stock. The clerk was very nice and stated he will have some ordered for me and they will be available the next day.

Unprofessional manager, had to cancel and go to another post office…read more On March 4, I came in to activate a PO Box that I had prepaid online the day before. I didn't have PS Form 1093 printed because the online process indicates the office can print it for you to sign during activation. The clerk helping me was polite and tried to assist, but the manager, Carla, made the process unnecessarily difficult. She told me she "couldn't" print the form and insisted I had to fill everything out again, even though the box was already paid for and I had all required documentation (passport, business license, my wife's ID). What really bothered me was the way Carla handled it. She kept walking away while I was speaking, didn't acknowledge what I was saying, and then accused me of being rude when I was calmly asking why a simple print-and-sign step couldn't be done. Because of the unprofessional behavior and lack of basic customer service, I canceled my PO Box the same day and went to the Alhambra Post Office, where the process was handled properly. If management can't support a straightforward PO Box activation, customers end up driving farther just to get decent service. I'm leaving this review so leadership addresses the customer service and training issues at this location.

They still haven't figured out what happened to my mail, and I was supposed to receive a call from the manager over three hours ago. This place is disorganized and lacks honesty, refusing to take responsibility for their mistakes and quickly pointing fingers. If you're planning to change your address, I wouldn't count on this team for support.

Yes, I am talking about an actual rock.. as the line started to get longer and longer the continuation of the conversation and sued about respective rock and how he found it in the water and XYZ. Pleasant as can be to her, move onto the next person speaking to her in Spanish no problem was pleasant as can be. Then I went up and not even a word. That's ok I ca read the prompts. Yet when the exchange was over, not even so much of a thank you was extended. Have a nice day. Nothing at all . Not looking for anything in particular, but I would think customer service definitely is an important key factor especially with the US Postal Service having lost a lot of business . I remember when this place was a nice friendly place but the rock conversation is more important than customer service. I suppose maybe he saw I wasn't interested as we waited in line. One woman said, nearly half an hour with his conversation of his friends, a.k.a. the rock . SMH.. time to put someone upfront on the counter that actually wants to help your customers.

Please support this USPS!!!…read more This USPS is essential to Chinatown and the federal government recently tried to shut it down. They now offered the owner Peter Kwong $100 a year instead of their regular contract. This is likely the only CPU that accepted such a ridiculous offer but Peter wanted to keep it open for the community, especially the elders that need this service. Peter has been operating at a loss for the last 26 year but now he will really be bleeding red. The workers need their job and the community needs this USPS. I know there has been comments about their service but please give grace to the older worker and please support its cause. We are fighting for the community so hope you all can do the same but making this USPS your go to USPS.

Make sure you don't park out front on Hill St during certain times of the afternoon or else your car will get towed! Love this hidden little post office AND they stay open much later than a lot of the other USPS locations in the area! The guy who runs it (I think) is super chill and accommodating. He's the one who warned me not to park on Hill St, and even though it was almost time for him to close, he waited for me to move my car so I wouldn't get a super expensive ticket or get towed. So nice! He even let me use his tape!
