Have to say I'm quite disappointed with my experience here at this Post Office. Came in to a 15 minute conversation of the counter rep from the post office talking to a woman about a rock. Yes, I am talking about an actual rock.. as the line started to get longer and longer the continuation of the conversation and sued about respective rock and how he found it in the water and XYZ. Pleasant as can be to her, move onto the next person speaking to her in Spanish no problem was pleasant as can be. Then I went up and not even a word. That's ok I ca read the prompts. Yet when the exchange was over, not even so much of a thank you was extended. Have a nice day. Nothing at all . Not looking for anything in particular, but I would think customer service definitely is an important key factor especially with the US Postal Service having lost a lot of business . I remember when this place was a nice friendly place but the rock conversation is more important than customer service. I suppose maybe he saw I wasn't interested as we waited in line. One woman said, nearly half an hour with his conversation of his friends, a.k.a. the rock . SMH.. time to put someone upfront on the counter that actually wants to help your customers. read more

I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable service I received today. I am a returning customer who has never had issues before, but my experience with the man who was on duty at that time was extremely disappointing. Not only was he disrespectful, but he also dismissed my concerns regarding a major routing error. My package was intended for San Francisco, yet it is currently being transported to New York. Despite me having paid for Priority shipping, the representative told me I should have 'chosen priority' to get it faster, completely ignoring the fact that I had already done so. He had also mention that it's not his problem, isn't he there to help when we customers have questions? He had said it was my fault, how exactly is it my fault ? The address was put right so isn't the responsibility on the usps? Most importantly, this package contains vital medication for my grandmother's diabetes. No solutions were offered to rectify the shipping error or expedite the delivery to the correct address. I expect an immediate update on the status of this package and a solution for its safe arrival. read more

Alex was the only person working today and he managed to be kind, helpful, and patient with all the customers waiting to be serviced. I heard from one of the customers who frequently calms for the holidays to mail gifts for their family saying that Alex has been the only person there ever since. If I could leave zero stars I would.dropped off two packages separate days within the same week. Both of them were not scanned and never were, they were stolen before they left that post office. Grimy workers, stealing packages is a federal offense and they don't care. They have no values and if you walk in wearing anything nice they will put your packages to the side and take them home. read more

It's always easy to use this post office because of location but every time I go in here, they seem miserable and hate to help you. I needed help sending a package but my QR code was incorrect and I needed to print it out. I've not had this issue before so I was asking questions to be better informed in the future and the woman helping me gave such attitude and annoyance with me. She even said "you can try with him (other postal worker) just to know it doesn't work." I asked her if it was the same system, she told me yes then I looked at her and said "Why would I go to him just for him to not be able to help me either?" Her response was "so you can see it's not just me." They always gossip about others after they leave as of we don't hear them. If you hate your job, just say that and move along. I get the mundane work of standing and repetition of your job.. but one does not need to speak to patrons with such disdain. Just don't bother with them. read more

Small but the best post office in LA. Friendly staff and I never get an attitude. Never had an issue here dropping off packages or getting receipts and I go here multiple times a week sometimes. I live deep in SOUTH LA and coming from work I make a stop here for all my mailing needs. Some reviewers have no idea what a truly TERRIBLE post office is. Just wanted to share my positive experience. I expected a package last Thursday but it didn't arrive due to an Animal Interference. I had a mail hold that weekend so I didn't expect another delivery attempt until Monday or Tuesday. I got my regular mail on Tuesday and other packages that were held from Saturday but not the Thursday package. Tracking showed that it was still on hold at the post office. I gave it another day thinking maybe another postal worker was bringing it. I called today and the supervisor I spoke to said he found my package and asked if I could pick up today or it can be delivered tomorrow as the mail person on my usual route had already left. I said tomorrow was fine, but he was able to ask another mail person to drop it off today. I'm very grateful that they worked together to drop off my package. I super appreciate it! read more

The Sunday carrier that only delivers packages. Does not deliver packages and marks them as delivered. On Sept 17th our security cameras show USPS van just driving through without stopping. Later that same day it shows delivered on website I made purchase from. The service of the carriers in my location gets worse every time. They also leave mail anywhere mailboxes are always left open With all the thieves around now USPS has thieves in house is horrible. I have enjoyed experiencing the employees at this facility as they are kind, warm, helpful but the parking is laughably hilarious. I believe there are technically only 3 actual parking spaces(!) and not much to find in adjacent neighborhood. That said, the lot is typically full w/ customers parking where they aren't supposed to all over the place. I'm not sure what the planners were thinking when they designed this facility, perhaps futurist planning for customers with jet packs? The energy portals of Rick and Morty? It's surreal although I do really want a jet pack and energy portal so I will change to 2 stars. read more

HATE this post office, and I wish that it was shut down. Not only does this post office open pretty late such as 10 AM, but I'm always seemingly having issues with people having bad attitudes besides the men. The women that are hired here, always seem miserable, high, or like they don't like their job and I get it dealing with the public is crazy. I live a couple of blocks away and there's been numerous times when a package has come up missing, then reappeared, or just confusion as a whole. Recently, I ordered an item and the postal man who normally does not deliver placed a package on top of the mailbox for the world to see. I've lived in the same neighborhood and I've come across this with my specific postal person numerous times. oh, you ordered some shoes? Let me just put your package on top of the mailbox for people are walking on the sidewalk fashion nova? Great let me just throw your package in the grass where someone can go and pick it up. This time I ordered some thing and it was stolen. My neighbor saw this package one day and it was left on top of the mailbox and then the following night it was gone. I go to claim and I'm not getting my money back on this package because USPS will not be accountable for their mistake, then what's funny is they tried to tell me that their postman do not leave packages on top of the mailbox but I've seen it with my own eyes many times, and with my neighbors witnessing this as well. The lines are always slow and unhelpful here. I truly feel like when there's places and low income residences they don't care as much as they should. read more

What a horrible post office, waited about an hour for a stamp. One cashier for a line all the way to the door. While the manager sits in his office laughing it up with his go workers while everyone is asking for help. You can hear them up front. And other employees just walking by and admiring the long line. Just to tell us oh well I wish I could help. Lady with glasses. Then they lock the doors and hile having customers inside. Isn't that against the law to lock people inside the building? Although I appreciate having parking here and less people (short wait), the quality of service isn't great. Even when there were two to three people working here in the past, their attitude was not so pleasant. But now, only one person handling everything and the worker looks overwhelmed. Skipping steps that she used to do for us are now being asked to customer. I got confused the process and had to redo it. Also I don't know the reason, but the price of shipping is always more expensive than other places. I wonder how the price can be different. Last time, I tried to send packages that I used to send for $3, but it was $17 at this place. I couldn't believe the price and took to other USPS. I sent it $3 as usual. read more

The worst customer service ever resides inside this office. The manager with the long hair is GREAT, but he's hardly ever seen or around to complain to. There's an older man in here with gray hair, Mexican american, who for sure isn't happy, loves to over charge folks, doesn't want to help people with anything. Once he charged me $1.65 for a Manila sized envelope with ONE sheet inside. I asked him why he said size AND weight?! I said "whatever it's fine" paid cash/change no tracking my envelope NEVER made it to its destination. The same day I sent another manila envelope with the same single sheet at another post office $1.00 for size made it the next day same destination. It's safe to say, he trashed my envelope cause I said "whatever". UNETHICAL!!!! There's also a woman that hates looking for packages and when people ask to track packages they don't want to look for them, It's awful! I come here cause it's the closest to my home but honestly, I reroute and go other places instead. The people that work in here SUCK. I'm sadden to see no one reviews anything about this post office... This is where I come to send letters -- Most of you are thinking "Letters?? who writes those anymore, when there is email!?" Well i guess I'm one of those few people who still enjoy sending out a good letter. It is more personal and its nice to hear people get surprised when they recieve it, though Ive never gotten one back :( The last time I got a letter through mail, (not counting the bills!) i think I was a pre-teen... sucks. Anyways if you come to this place expect a long line because its a small place and there are only 1 or 2 people working, at a counter of 5 windows :/ also expect some Sass, the ladies who work the counters arent all that friendly. You can MAYBE get a smile from them if you; speak perfect english, have everything ready and correct, and ask no questions. However there is this guy that works there (the only guy) I am more relaxed when he is there, he makes small talk and always makes people smile and laugh, he's great! I visit this post office about 5 times a week to have my business packages shipped. Compared to other USPS locations I've been to, this one is by far the smallest and one of the more poorly maintained. They don't have those new machines with the scales and the place just looks old and run down. HOWEVER, the staff is very friendly and hardworking. I just wish USPS would give more attention to this location. We need more staff and the entire office needs to be remodeled! read more

Small post office that services Boyle Heights. The lines are bearable and the service is pretty quick with the efficient clerks. But beware of the parking lot it is deceptively small, it literally has space for like 4 cars, you're almost better off not even trying to get into their drive way and seeing if you can score a spot. Better off trying to score a spot on the street. If your packages are already have pre-paid postage, leave them in the far right end of the post offices, liquor store style plexiglass set up. This is a cute little post office with good location and fast moving windows even when their is a line. Good supplies and packing materials available. If you need the right size bubble wrap mailer or rectangle box they prolly have it. But I surevwish Saturday hours were longer. Maybe get some community funding to extend Saturday hrs. I live in a nursing home and bits hard to get out during the week. But limited Saturday transportation makes going downtown to the main USPS for mailing awkward and untenable. If this post office was open until 5 pm and that dropoff was put in the downtown same day, it would be great. read more
