I was having an issue rerouting a package to be picked up here instead of my residence (it required a signature and I wasn't going to be home) but I was told that UPS has to take care of it on their end because this place is just a waypoint. Good to know, but disappointing as I had already tried the customer service line and wasn't able to resolve my issue. I wasn't allowed to speak with an actual person and the automated phone tree did not give me an option for rerouting my package.

My car broke down on the 10 interstate so I had to tow it to Lordsburg, NM and get a motel room. I ordered the part (a water pump) online from Vescovo Toyota (which is now Viva Toyota). None of that matters anyway because the subject of the matter is UPS. I ordered the part on a Monday morning (early). They gave me a deadline of 7pm Friday, but on that particular morning I called Vescovo Toyota before they shipped out the part so I could add overnight express delivery, The guy at the parts department at Vescovo told me that that won't be necessary as we were only 120 miles away, so the part would be here the next day. Every day that it didn't arrive was costing me another $100 in motel room expenses Remember, the part was an hour and a half to two hours away. That was Monday. Tuesday came and went. Wednesday came and went. Thursday came and went. When the deadline of 7pm on Friday came and went, I just could not believe it. I couldn't even fathom how incompetent that was -you would have to TRY to not get something (that is only 120 miles away) there in 2 days, let alone 5. So, after the deadline, I called UPS and they are "incommunicado" with their drivers. ???????????? I couldn't afford another $100 for the hotel room so since it was cold that night, I risked driving the car and made it to El Paso where I got the part somewhere else and installed it in their parking lot. Halfway to El Paso, UPS had the nerve to call me and tell me the part was just delivered to the Motel 6 that I had waited for 5 days at (paying $100 a night.) for a part that was less than 2 hours drive away. I believe this is most likely against corporate policy. It should be inclusive to people who also suffer from disabilities like migraines, allergies, and asthma. Response: I appreciate it, but you should also look at it that if you have an employee that has disabilities like this which are a protected class under the ADA. People walked in and immediately walked out because of how long the line was and because of how big the package drop off pile was. People were concerned about where to leave the package and whether it would be seen or fall off the overflowing pile. Some people were there only to buy stamps. What a wild time to wait almost an hour to only buy stamps. I was there because a package was allegedly delivered to my mailbox but it wasn't and there wasn't a parcel locker key left nor was it left at my door. The idea that I had to track down my package and still never receive it is wild to me. The post office is sad, poorly lit, and depressing inside. I said no that I believed my evaluation was accurate and truthful and people should be able to use to make judgements. Following that, the written document I received did not include potential damage to the wall or floor. After complaining the next document included the floor but not the wall. I complained and was told the wall would not be included and the regional manager wouldn't speak to me. From start to finish the experience has been terrible.
