This place did not disappoint…read more Although Mesa or La Mesa as it is called is a teeny tiny town here in New Mexico just south of Las Cruces I found it to be one of those places where you could probably get all the news about town if you just talked to the lady behind the counter who was most probably the postmaster of Lamesa. I had one small package I needed to mail that did not get out the door before we left home so so I said to my wife lets to pull over at the next post office because we had just gone by one and there it was a few miles later. Everyone was polite and helpful and so nice really. She even had a restaurant recommendation and guess what I thought that was just the icing on the cake for very nice. She checked my sloppy handwriting and told me the machine would be able to read it and told me a little bit about how things get sorted and fixed in those automatic machines and I just said well that's above and beyond one more time. Now if you're ever in the neighborhood of Lamesa this might be the place for you to send out your mail

They sell socks, hand creams, random nicknacks but not actual shipping supplies? Make it make sense. They also do not provide shipping receipts. This location is closer to my work, but another location from same company that is closer to my house do sell shipping bags and always provide a shipping receipt for all drop offs. Why is each location so different? And shouldn't postal annex prioritize shipping supplies? At the end, i drove to ups store to buy shipping bags then drove back to the postal annex to drop off the item to ship via fedex.

I understand that during…read morethis season they are busy, I understand that this small post office supports 30+ thousand soldiers and their families and of course I take all of that in account but when you visit a post office and it barely has any supplies, Only one person is working and consequently there is a huge line, You are asked to fill out a form that no other post office has asked you to complete when shipping to the same address for the past 6 months, and when you are done completing the line is even longer, all is hard to ignore. Im glad I visited with time. Sadly, I will hesitate to visit this location in the future but I guess that is a good thing for them.

We also needed to have the documents shipped out overnight, and had that done as well. The staff is very friendly and followed safety protocols by wearing masks. They have a fax and copy machine on hand, as well as a pc, all for a nominal fee. If your hungry or thirsty, they have snacks and water as well.
