I made the mistake of buying a Dell laptop from this huckster for $200 in Jan of 2026 and was told that the laptop was actually worth $1000. That was a lie, since the Dell model was already out of commision, The vendor sold me an adapter which did not work (after trying to give me an adapter that was so corroded that it looked like it had be eaten by bacteria.) After I ordered off E-bay my own adapter, I tried to get some simple recompensation: the owner, who was operating without a license, and violating NM sales tax law, suggested that I send the laptop back to him at my expense for him to "diagnose," A horrible experience, with a man with no honor,

We went to all major retailers and a couple of used computer shops but had no luck. Roger at Edgar's was able to locate a used charger that worked for us. He upgraded my refurbished HP Elite to Windows 11 even though Microsoft did not support the upgrade. Within only six months -- and after an earlier crash I barely managed to recover from -- the system became unstable and eventually had to be repaired by a different technician. I wish I had been warned that forcing Windows 11 onto older, unsupported hardware can lead to serious instability in a short period of time. Edgar clearly knows his craft, but customers -- especially seniors or those on fixed incomes -- should ask whether an upgrade is truly safe and appropriate for their specific machine.

It was used and had a little under 25,000 miles on it. It now has a little over 40,000 miles and a few months ago I noticed the seat was beginning to separate at the seams. The separation continued until I finally decided to do something about it. The first thing I noticed while walking up to his front door was an immaculately restored Bel Air Chevrolet. I guessed '57, but he told me it was a '54. It was perfect and I immediately realized that Mr. G had to be a perfectionist (future review instantly goes to 5 stars). I found Mr. G to be friendly and professional. I asked Mr. G if he could fix my seat. He looked at it for a minute and stated he could try. He quoted me a price, and gave me his business card. I wrote down my contact information, and he said he would call me. The next morning at 8:35am he called me stating my seat was done, and I could come by and pick it up anytime. I was very pleased with the results of his work. He double stitched the problem areas and restored it to its whole condition. I probably saved $250-$300 by bringing my seat here, rather than buying a new seat, and additionally it's still original. If it (and me) lasts another 40,000 miles I'll be very happy. I found my experience here rewarding and satisfying. If you're in need of any type of auto, marine, or motorcycle upholstery work, check Mr. G out, and support small business.
