They are quick and if you have all the paper work ready even better. Don't forget to bring cash.

Firsr, let me dsy this is not a critique on the DMV since I have been here 4 times in the past two…read moremonths. Mostly it was my fault otherwise I would only have one or two visits at the most. Personnel at the DMV deserve an A + rating. They make you work hard to do things the right way. If you elect to teach your kid to drive, make sure you have all the paperwork. Also if you or your kid wears glasses, bring them. My son forgot them the first time so we had to come back next time. Then double check to make sure you have all of the paperwork. Statements with addresses need to be current. So now watch, there is a new 15 year old driver on the road. Of course he'll be with an adult until he gets his license. If this is your first time making an appointment, you need to plan out since vacant slots can be rare. Sometimes you have to look a few months out depending on your or your kid's schedule. As for the bathroom, it was clean and well kept.

I rarely leave reviews, but this DMV absolutely deserves one star. Before coming in, I specifically…read moreasked MULTIPLE workers multiple times whether my mom needed to be present for me to receive my actual license. I made it very clear what I was coming in for because my mom was going to be out of town. Every single time, I was told that I did NOT need her there and that everything would be fine. So I show up with my grandma, after taking time out of our day and arranging transportation, only to suddenly be told the exact opposite. Apparently now I did need my mom there. What makes this even worse is the way the employees handled it. Instead of admitting they gave incorrect information, they talked down to me, acted annoyed, and basically tried to make me sound stupid for following the instructions THEY gave me in the first place. It honestly felt like they were trying to gaslight me into believing I misunderstood them when I had asked repeatedly to avoid this exact situation. The incompetence and lack of professionalism here is unreal. If the employees don't even know the requirements for something as basic as issuing a license, maybe they shouldn't be giving people information in the first place. Completely wasted my time and my family's time, and the rude attitude on top of it made the whole experience even worse.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles does not accept credit cards, but they do accept money orders and cash. I made an appointment online, and I was shocked that I could make a same-day appointment. When I arrived, I was the only client; I signed in to their digital kiosk and was immediately called. Their staff was professional and courteous. I got my vehicle's title in less than five minutes! I was relieved and happy to experience a transparent and efficient government agency.

Been here twice now. Both times have been to get the title to a car (separate cars) that I own. Why I always lose the titles when I have them is beyond me, but also my fault lol. Both times have been in and out. Process is very simple, very inexpensive, and the staff is always helpful, polite and professional. I give them my documents (letter of lean release from the bank) and $5, and they give me my title. That's that. Facility is clean.

This DMV office is pretty organized for the most part. I live on the west side but had to come to…read morethis one. Why? Because the DMVs on the east and west said I couldn't schedule an appointment until late October or December! My appointment was back in August. My drivers license was going to expire on my birthday in September. This is why I wanted to get this task done sooner rather than later. I hadn't renewed my license since 2013. That may be why I had to go in person. You have to set up the appointment on the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles website before going. It isn't like before when you could just show up. To be honest, I don't even think it matters if your license is expired right now due to Covid. I did it for my other job just in case. They require you to have a car at all times. I guess you can say it also gives me a sense of accomplishment and peace of mind. Anyway... There's someone outside who asks you questions and takes your temperature. After you pass everything, you go and sit down until they call your number. They took my photo (Gag! These are always the worst kinds of photos!). Since I previously needed glasses for driving, they had to give me an eye exam. Surprisingly I passed it without my glasses! According to them, I don't really need glasses anymore for driving. It's not on my license anymore. I would recommend coming to this location rather than the others. They seem to have more appointments available. Maybe things changed for the others ones, I'm not sure. The license cost me $33.
