After waiting a few minutes in line at the post office, I said forget this and left. I kid you not, the line was almost outside! That's not a good thing, especially during Covid-19! Large crowds are a big no no for me. Two ladies in line also cut in front of me! I was a bit upset over that so I just left before I got mega upset. It took a lot of self-restraint. Luckily I am a patient person. ;) Moving on... The lady who helped me at Postal Annex + was Adriana. She was really knowledgeable and nice. She answered all of my questions without hesitation. She was quick and efficient. I'd definitely come to Postal Annex + for any holiday shipping needs. They offer USPS, UPS and Fed Ex service. The least expensive service will be USPS. I ended up spending $33 to ship the documents overnight. It would've cost me over $50 with another service. No thanks! I will stick to $17 less. Did I mention they also sell cute holiday cards and masks? It was also pretty cool that Adriana already had my contact information in their system! Thumbs way up for Postal Annex +! Woo hoo! :)

The Melek web site, though mostly in Spanish, had the services of each location in English. Yea, a starting point. With the help of Google translate, I got the details. Another yea. There are 2 locations very close to each other in downtown El Paso, we went to the one clearly with the money change service and could not have asked for better service. Parking was easy. I speak some Spanish but it was unnecessary, as the lovely woman at the window spoke perfect English. And the exchange rate was extraordinarily low. Our bank in Santa Fe charges $25 for the service and offers a horrible exchange rate. This side trip added a very pleasant day to our trip and eliminated the stress of that part of the trip. We will use them again.

Currency exchange (US dollars to USM pesos and vice versa) is amongst it's many services and cashier 8 quickly, professionally, & friendly converted my US dollars. I saw a few too-large Peso notes, and asked her for smaller denominations, which she efficiently did. (I knew that my regular Northbound stop on Norzagaray included El Sancho Barbacoa, smaller notes would be appreciated. This is not the first time I've been able to change money at this excellent facility. The fact that it is so close to the border and where I cross really adds to the convenience. This gets my "Wheel of Approval!"
