I went there so much, he and I were always on a first-name basis with each other. And although he's now not there as much as he used to be, the others who are tend to be just as accurate and trustworthy as he once was. Ernie, who was the person behind the counter, always use to make jokes when I use to walk up to him for a stamp, and we just got along great together. It was rare when he ever made a mistake in the mailing system. I'm sorry I couldn't describe the factors that came into being placed in this review a little better. Maybe, as Ernie cross-trains people, the people who he trains could actually help bring that enlightened sense/spirituality to this small kiosk in the Mall once again, and therefore bring his sense of humor out to bring more people to use this booth once again. And what's best, packages that were mailed under him, never once ever got lost or delayed due to his actions, so something had gone well under his direction. He was always "on top of his game" here. Thanks Ernie and USPS crew for making my days and life a little brighter. You always have been a light in my eye, and will continue to shine brightly through the many years I have yet to use in store for the remainder of my life.

To me, this Glenford, NY post office- a few minutes outside of Woodstock, felt...cozy? I'm not sure how old this building is- but it's up there. The outside appears spacious, the inside is opposite that: It's small. Enough for 1 person. Two people can probably do- but it might feel like you're both kind of squeezing in. Other than that, this Glenford PO is unique in its own way. Service was patient- with that small town charm. And listen, for the price, our small box arrived at the destination in 2 days as promised.

I was very surprised that how many people came in to use the post office in this tiny little town. The service I requested was getting my bereavement gift to our family abroad in the most cost-efficient and fastest method possible. Nick was able to assist me in saving approximately $50 just by using a standard box instead of the white boxes marked priority mail. The travel time between accord New York and Tokyo Japan will be about the same give or take one day so saving 40 or $50 was well worth it. The one good thing is we didn't have to pay for a box (as long as you get the smallest box), as long as you have proof of residency! The workers in their are super friendly and helpful when we came in! The only negative I have is there were no after hour access like other post offices have sometimes for box holders. It was an inconvenience at times and many times we were only to get mail on Saturdays! That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars
