The clerk during this visit was completely unprofessional. She glared at me when I first walked up and said "mm-hmm?!" I said, "I just need to mail a package." She didn't say a word, just pushed some buttons and pointed to the card machine where there was a question about whether the package contained something perishable. I was mailing a small package of coffee so I pushed yes. She grunted, "the cheapest option is six dollars." I laughed and said, "um... not THAT perishable. I'm just mailing coffee so I just need the cheaper one." She rolled her eyes and completely disregarded what I said, placing the stickers on the package anyway. Without looking at me, she said, "Any stamps?" I stood there confused for a second before saying no. She held out her hand and said impatiently, "SIX DOLLARS?" I ran my card, said goodbye, and left. She didn't say a thing to me.
I've worked retail. I've worked MANY Saturdays. I understand that it can be a bummer to be stuck working on a beautiful weekend day. However, there is NO excuse for this kind of unprofessional behavior.
If there's a manager at this branch who is reading this review, the clerk was 05 on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:42am. I left a review on USPS.com as well. read more
