I submitted an inquiry, and received an email suggesting that I submit a claim for it. Unfortunately they wanted me to provide proof of insurance, shipping documents, etc... all those are difficult to get from the ebay seller. I find the USPS completely incompetent for losing my package and now I'm having to jump through hoops to submit the claim. I will ship UPS or Fedex next time.

I was grateful that this US Post Office was near the Indiana Convention Center where the Health & Fitness Expo was held, because it allowed me to ship out my postcards and other mail I had brought with me while in Indianapolis. When I walked in there was only one customer inside, but not in line though. I waited briefly before being acknowledged by the clerk who at the time was speaking to her co-worker. My visit ended up being in-and-out because there were not any other customers. As someone who visits post office locations regularly whether it be for Poshmark or eBay shipments, the clerk was respectful during our brief encounter. I was on my way in minutes after she presented me with stamps for my postcards and took them after. I am terrible at doing the surveys on the receipts pertaining to my visits, but rest assured, I always share a review based on my experiences. Located not too far from the International Marketplace neighborhood, you'll find plenty of parking here and lines that move fairly quickly. Gang, this experience was rough. For starters, they were super busy with a line that barely moved…read more(both inside and at the sec checkout kiosk). Second, the staff didnt seem very proactive in problem solving some of the issues that arose during our visit. I stepped up to the sec service kiosk and one of the workers was operating it (not so self service). She quickly tapped in my order of 80 postcard stamps and after it started realized that it was individually printing each stamp (with no folding edges). The process of printing each stamp ended up taking 20 minutes!! Keep in mind, this is after I already waited 15 min in line to get to the kiosk. I asked if she had postcard books that she could swap out so we wouldn't have to wait and she laughed and shook it off - "you're going to be here for awhile!". At this point, I was stick after spending nearly $50 on the stamps. I asked another worker who walked by if she could help and she said I'd have to go inside and wait in line (which would require leaving the stamps as they're printing...). Overall, a frustrating experience. It seems that this location could use a little more coaching/improvements. I'll be going elsewhere in the future.

I have worried about the security of that system (is my package going to get stolen?), but 20 or so packages later I have never had an issue. I have been to the counter once and the employee was very nice. I have been at many different times of day and there always seems to be a few people in line. There is a lobby area with PO boxes and then there is the service area, and they have different hours. It's not the nicest place or the nicest part of town, but the parking is very easy. They are pretty knowledgeable and lines move along pretty well. When it gets really busy they usually have folks come up to help those that just need to pick up mail and such things where they don't need a terminal.
