Worst place ever, the wait is ridiculous and so is the customer service and very limited personnel

Stereotypical post office. Lazy, slow workers, inefficient. Such a miserable place. My blood pressure goes up every time I'm in here. The women that work there are so rude and unhelpful. Avoid if you can help it! read more

AVOID THIS POST OFFICE IF POSSIBLE! My car was burglarized at this post office and the staff wouldn't even let me use the phone to call the police and file a report. I was told "customers are not allowed to use the phone," finally after several minutes of awkwardness one of the workers felt sorry for me and let me borrow her cell phone to call the police. In addition to my car being burglarized at this post office, they have recently (and conveniently) loss a package of mine. After leaving me a package slip at my home, I went to the post office to pick it up only to be told that they couldn't find my package and to call a 1 800 number. This is the worst post office and it's supposed to be in a nice location, and they have the most incompetent unprofessional people working there, zero customer service people working there, I called several times, because they lost my mail something that was delivered to them two weeks ago a box they missed placed it I called they put me on hold for 20 minutes. I had to hang up and call back and then they put me on hold again still did not received my mail. I don't recommend anybody getting a mailbox there at all.We spent our money for the mailbox I think we should be able to get a guarantee that we will receive all of our mails,but that's not the case at all read more

Soooooo slow! It doesn't seem to matter that there are 10 people in the line...the pace remains the same. It almost seems deliberate. I understand why USPS is losing money and closing locations. read more

Was in Houston to go to the Italian consulate. Came here for an envelope to get my Italian visa sent back to me, it was around 7:30 am, before the office opened. The self service kiosk gave me receipt and no label, so I went to the PO box assistance window. A very friendly employee offered help, which he technically didn't have to give me since he was assigned to something else and it was early, and got me my label. Such personable and caring service, from people who not only were helpful but made interesting conversation with me about traveling to Europe. read more

I placed my mail on vacation hold. The post office took my yellow card and made copies. The manager told me that she would file the copies and I was to put the yellow card in my box at the apartment when I left on vacation. I got home only to find that the mail carrier did not hold my mail but in fact when the box got full just sent all my mail back to sender. I found my yellow card still in the mailbox. I was waiting for some medical records that I needed this week and now those have been sent back to hospital. When I complained at the post office the manager told me that the carrier was awful and they want to fire him. She told me to call and make a complaint. That was it. read more

If you are smart then stay away from here and find another PO. Got there for an appt. for a passport photo, service starts at 10:00 which was my appt. time. I was two minutes early and the lady decides to go on a twenty minute break. Had my mail held for 20 days but got back two days early so I went to pick up my mail. NO MAIL and not clue where it was. Got to my apartment and opened my mailbox to no mail but a note written on my hold order that said "you were gone too long" mail in PR. No one knew what PR meant and I had to wait another day to catch the mail lady to find my mail. This place is a disaster, slow beyond belief, incompetent and rude to everyone. read more

I have tried to be patient with this post office but I had a package delivered on the 23rd, which is over 10 days ago, and nobody here knows where it is and they said that it is not their problem. That it is the main post office.along with that the person in the back gave me a completely bogus telephone number in which to call them with when I came here before. Came in to renew my passport and got some unbelievable attitude from the lady. Didn't bother to take me at my appointment time. Then she got huffy with me about the form that I got from the state department website. She kept saying that the renewal form wasn't what I needed for renewing my passport. What??? "You're not listening to me" she kept saying and was really indignant when I kept asking about the forms. Sorry, NOT SORRY, for not understanding why I had to use different form. "I'm trying to help you". Yeah, right. Apparently I didn't fill out the form right a few times (used blue ink and that's apparently not ok). Had to wait for her to get back to me after filling out the same form over and over again. I finally just gave up. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

Our postman, Bud is simply wonderful. He is prompt, kind and goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy. I have been to this location a few times. During the week days it seems they don't have enough workers in the front and the line can build up quickly during lunch or right at five. This time I came on a Saturday. They had two workers in very high spirits at the desks and one worker was going through the line answering customers questions! It was awesome! She helped get the write labels or some stamps for others in line. This was by far the most efficient I have ever seen at a USPS location and the workers were friendly and so helpful! read more

To pay for Money Back Guarantee Overnight Service where my package was guaranteed to be delivered on Wednesday at Noon 11/14/2018 and your package hasn't been updated since the 14th. The package hasn't made it to its destination and its now 11/17/2018. To have a claim reported, and to have Postal Affairs involved - to only continue to receive the run around. Mind you, this is a critical package where I am being penalized the Post Office mishap. I am told by Postal Affairs, I can receive my refund back, because its guarantee, but to only recieve the run around. I utilized this Post Office because of its location to my office. This is by far the worst experience ever. I should have read the reviews first, because this is my far horrible experience., ever. My critical package is lost, where I am now being penalized for and this Post office will not refund my guarantee overnight refund where it clearly shows has not been delivered!!!! The lady at the counter did not want cash a money order saying that she could not check if it was a fake money or a real one. I show her my ID and asked what to do if I needed to cash the money order but she had no clue or provided me any options. She was not helpful at all or she did not know what she was doing. I think that she needs some training if she wants to be in a customer service position. Very bad service, if you need to go the a post office go the one on Weslayan and Bissonet the people there are great. read more

I have never been treated so poorly at a post office in my life. I had to mail two packages and went to the counter to explore different options, i.e. priority vs. regular mail. I was told that the machine in the lobby is where I was supposed to do that. However, when I asked about buying supplies if regular mail was the best option, she said that I would have to buy the supplies at the counter. So basically she wanted me to go out to the lobby, weigh my options and then come back into the line to potentially purchase supplies. When I calmly explained this to her, she decided to give me the difference in pricing WITHOUT looking at me or telling me which option went with which price. I had to pull teeth to get the answers and got so frustrated that I left without mailing my items. I will never step foot in that post office again. All I could think about is what the world has come to when a woman is being paid by the state to sit at the counter and provide service to customers and she decides that instead of helping people, she'll just force them to use the machine in the lobby. What would my 70 year old mother who can't even check email do in that instance? More than frustrated... read more
