This USED to be a great place to get copies made, ship packages, etc., etc. There was a clerk…read morenamed Pattie who worked there, & She was always "on top" of everything. Unfortunately for Me, Pattie retired, & this business evidently is now under new ownership & has REALLY gone DOWNHILL fast. I recently bought a couple of vintage auto parts on eBay. Sadly, they wouldn't fit, necessitating My returning them for a refund. eBay emailed Me a "QR code". When I saw "FedEx" listed as the carrier I needed to use to ship the parts back I cringed, since anything & everything remotely related to this pitiful "carrier" always seems to end up complicated, a huge hassle, & a gigantic nightmare. Having no other viable options at the moment, I grudgingly drove to the "Postal Center" so they could scan the QR code, print a label, & ship the package out for Me. Well, FedEx "came through" for Me once again, right on cue. The "clerk" on duty matter-of-factly informed Me that the Postal Center is "no longer scanning FedEx QR codes". I really thought She was kidding! They advertise themselves as a "full service center", are considered a FedEx drop-off location, & they can't/won't scan QR codes? Preposterous!!!!! A wasted trip, & in case this clerk hasn't noticed, gas prices (like FedEx rates), are in the stratosphere. She could care less. This "clerk" was about as useless as power windows in a submarine. No apologies, no recommendation(s) of what My options are, etc. I asked Her WHY they won't scan QR codes She informed Me that "We don't have the necessary equipment to scan QR codes". REALLY??? I suggested that it might be good business practice for Them to INVEST in a scanning machine, seeing that They're supposedly a "FedEx full-service location". DUH!!! That suggestion also fell on deaf ears. I informed Her that I was finished doing any business with "The Postal Center"...She could care less about this also. Quite the "attitude"! On My own, I searched the internet & quickly found that Walgreens in Millbury handles the shipping of FedEx packages. I called Them & when I told the clerk the story about The Postal Center not being able to scan FedEx QR codes, She too thought I was joking!!! She had never heard of anything so ridiculous! So, I drove to Millbury. She (Karen) was very nice & helpful (unlike the DUDS at The Postal Center!!) Within 3 minutes She had the QR code scanned, the shipping label affixed, & the package was on its way! Now THAT's the way to do business!!! So whatever You do, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER using The Postal Center for anything since They're as useless as FedEx, I'm spreading the word far & wide, with the hopes that this pitiful excuse for a "business" will go the route of "Spirit Airlines", along with FedEx, and cease to exist. If anyone is looking around for a place that offers more than spiral binding, they do offer "perfect binding" which is glued, unexposed page edges where they're bound together. More like a real book and more durable. I wish I knew about them sooner. Update: I tried to use him again for a personal book binding project. He gave me rushed service and did not give me the product I asked for. If he didn't have the time to do what I wanted he could've referred me to the printing shop one Plaza over. They did take me, and told me he will sometimes refer clients. The woman there understood exactly what I was asking for and instead of blatantly refusing my service like ad print guy did, they just let me know when to pick it up.

The airline contracts with a courier DDD that has more 1* reviews that I care to comment and those reviews are well warranted. My son's luggage sat at Logan for several days with absolutely zero sense of urgency AND he is on medication that he MUST check in so that caused more issues. I was in a bind and finally had no choice but to do what I could to handle this on my own. The first company I called was this one. I called at 12:30am EST and after 2 rings, Greg picked up. He's the owner. He listened to my situation, calmed me down, and stated "I will help you." Word that NO ONE said at the airline nor DDD. I provided him with information, he promised me he would take care of me. I went to bed. At 11:00am, my son received his luggage. All I can say is LISTEN.RESPOND.DELIVER that is the slogan for this company. I am extremely grateful that Greg took my call and was willing to help a parent like me at 12:30am and do as he promised. They had sign in the lobby, but I would have not seen it. How would I have known? I told them the website has a different hours. After they verified the website, and I was right, they apologized to me. My post office I usually visit is Greendale post office, they are much friendlier and nicer, however they won't process passport applications. I would not be here if I did not need the passport. I would recommend to call them first if you need to know the walk in hours for passport.

Shhhhhhh.......... don't tell everyone, but this is a great PO to come to when you have stuff to…read moremail and don't want to stand in line from now until next year elsewhere (or don't have time to get to the nifty APC machine in Needham). Even though there is often just one person working, it's not as if the line is out the door as it is everywhere else, and there is parking galore! This is the beauty of hidden PO's... but don't say I let the secret out.
