Feeble Equipment Diagnosis…read more I brought my Cub Cadet lawn tractor to this Cadet dealer recently, to investigate and/or repair it (the engine and drivetrain worked, the mower blades would not engage -- bad PTO). It was a 20 mile trek one way, requiring me to haul it with my trailer, leave it there and then return to retrieve it. Long story short, they told me that the cost of parts to fix it would make it impractical to repair, and that I should scrap the tractor. I paid them a $25 fee for their diagnosis. A week after bringing it home, I fiddled with an electrical connection to the PTO, after which the PTO engaged and was working. Here I was, prepared to scrap my equipment based on their advice, and apparently their advice was bad. I'm not sure how they diagnosed my problem, but I expected better.

On memorial day lenny answered the call and drove an HOUR away to handle it. He corrected my mistake and taught along the way. Unfortunately with the job done it turned out the work we accomplished made the problem worse and I called on ole lenny again. This time armed with the right tools and teamwork we figured it out.
