I am very pleasant with the whole crew (dwindling and understaffed). She goes out of her way to nitpick the most trivial nuances whatsoever, when attempting to drop off an item to mail. I weigh, pay for and print my own postage very ACCURATELY at all times. She always finds a FALSE issue. Apparently, she hates her job. I was denied sending a MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX package today. She claimed it "didn't fit right??!! Without confrontation, I went to my original home town of Saddle Brook PO, and asked if it my postage was correct, the package was sealed correctly, etc. The pleasant young lady there laughed and said "of course". No drama, no BS. I explained to her what the other "employee" had sad at the North Street, Elmwood Park location. She laughed and said, "I've heard about HER before, that's why people are comimg here instead. Terrible service at EP. FIRE HER! THE END.

My son "overnighted" at a cost of $28.60 his meds to me. Three days later they were still not here. The people at the PO were rude, insulting and totally uncooperative. They refused to take responsibility, i ended up driving to a PO half an hour away when they finally found my package after epic temper tantrum. I never received an apology, she rudely said " you're welcome" when I was leaving, to which I replied...how about "we're sorry?" However, the young woman named Noel in Ringwood Post Office was outstanding. She truly saved the day.

The history of this building, along with the statue and memorial outside, is pretty grim but also really interesting. It adds a level of character you don't always see at a post office.
