    The post office sucks. They don't deliver the mail to the right address and they never answer the phone.

We paid $197.05 to ship it back home and was told by a female supervisor that it would require additional air packing on both sides of the frame, and we agreed with her. The female clerk ringing up the transaction did not know what she was doing and had to ask for assitance multiple times. I asked the clerk multiple times before leaving and she reassured me that the additional air packing would be added to the box, to ensure the item would be packaged appropriately and arrive intact. We received the package yesterday and the frame is scratched and damaged, the glass all shattered. When we opened the box the air packing that we were promised WAS NOT inside the box, hence why the frame was not only shattered but the shattered glass also scratched up the custom frame. I called the store directly this morning and initially spoke to Jimmy. Jimmy, you were very pleasant, this review has nothing to do with you. He told me the owner would contact me and he did. What is REALLY disturbing is that from the moment I answered my phone the owner was yelling at me, berating me, and blaming me for the damaged item. First of all, you are a business owner, act like one. He DID NOT AT ALL listen to what I was trying to explain to him regarding the fact that the frame was not packaged with the proper packing. All he did was argue with me and did not offer any assistance towards a solution to this problem at any time during this phone call. I cannot believe that owners like him get away with such behavior, lack of professionalism, and still run a business. Why am I doing this review? So other people do not experience what we did. Choose wisely before doing business here. Yes, it is a fragile item and I run a risk in shipping it. However, this is their business and this is what they do on a daily basis. They failed to include the air packing, the box was not tagged with "Fragile" stickers, which ultimately resulted in my frame being damaged and shattered. The owner failed to even admit that, let alone take responsibility for it.

    I rarely write a negative review. But people should be warned about this company…read more I paid them $500 to professionally ship three lamps I bought from an auction. They packed all the heavy bases together then stuck the fragile glass shades at the very outside of the box with almost no packing material around them. There was no way the glass shades could not break. Of course, I received the vintage Handel shades shattered, of course. I contacted Mosaic, and they admitted their error in packing, The UPS insurance I paid for was of no use, as their packing did not meet UPS guidelines. Mosaic promising, no matter what, they would reimburse me for the lamps as it was obviously their error. For over nine months they led me on, promising reimbursement 'next week'. Now they completely ignore me. I even told them I was going to write this review, hoping they would step up and keep their promise. But no response. They won't even reimburse the shipping charges they charged me. I'm reaching out to the auction house, as this company should be banned. If Mosaic ever keeps their word, and takes responsibility, I will update this review. Otherwise, you can know they never did keep their word.

However, those French art deco nightstands were loudly calling my name. When I asked around, more than one person mentioned Mosaic as the shipper of choice. I held my breath and went for it. They were great with the quote, great with collecting my item, great with communication, and I now have two art deco nightstands and a great deal of packing material (the packing was freakin' genius, the nightstands were completely protected against anything a company could do to them) in my home. Their prices are extremely competitive, and I am confident if the East Coast has more items that I'd like, I can get them home to the West Coast thanks to the good people of Mosaic.
