I have had 5 packages that said they were delivered but they were not. I have tried to call but they do not answer within a timely manner. I am mad. The absolute worst facility. My express package containing a prescription medication has been sitting there for a week and a half. I filed a claim (in Ohio) and they supposedly expedited the investigation. I get a call from an Ohio usps district office worker the next day after filing a complaint. They claim that there is nothing they can do because my package is not in my home state. So, basically, me filing a claim was worthless. They had no answers when I asked why my package has been sitting so long. Worthless. Convoluted. No Logic. I have another package sitting there that is supposedly going to be delivered to me tomorrow. I gotta wonder if their postal employees are swiping medications. I'm disabled and need this medication. Just seems kind of suspicious. This distribution center is one state away from me. They need to get their act together. read more

What is going on with USPS services on all levels. Federal workers are UNTOUCHABLES and no matter what they do to mess up, they are secure in their employment. Where is my mail. Waiting for medication that shipped from 18017 on 12/17 and tracking shows they ARE STILL IN BETHLEHEM FACILITY? The phones lines lead to voicemail and we, the paying public have to follow up with our mail. My packages left the Lehigh valley and ALL headed to FL. where all good packages go the circuitous route to then sift out to PROPER destinations because it alleviates the congestion. The POSTAL SYSTEM KNEW 9 months ago that COVID-19 was a pandemic and plan their mode of operation. Do better. Unacceptable practices that we are not privy to. read more

If you ever need to file a passport application and want to deal with friendly, professional postal clerks, this is NOT the place to do it. The male clerk (named after an emperor and a salad) I had to deal with today was nothing short of rude and condescending. I mistakenly stapled my photo to my application and the clerk's reaction was incredulous. He also asked me why I filed at this location rather than in my home state. I shouldn't have had to give an answer to that. I'm a US citizen and should be able to file at ANY US Post Office without scrutiny. This clerk has poor customer service skills and should not be allowed to deal with the public. read more

This is the absolute worst distribution center. Packages sit here for weeks if not months and never reach their destination. The USPS is the worst, file a complaint about lost parcels or one that is stuck at center and the only thing that happens is you invest hours to get the biggest bullshit answer and no one ever gets fired. People need to loose some jobs within USPS. Why do I say that ? Well they get paid like the rest of the world but never seem to get fired for mistakes, which are plentiful. I saw something about the USPS being pushed for federal investigation into why mail is so messed up. I say DO IT. I ordered something in that area on 12.17.20, shipped priority mail, tracking shows it arrived at Lehigh post office 12.18.20 headed to Indiana and now nothing, zip, nada.... tracking shows it just stayed at that location, now 3 weeks later still nothing. read more

I have tried to call and complain, but it seems that they don't accept complaints, nor do they accept claims for damage if they caused them... What is up with that? So I paid extra to have a gift for my 82 year old mom's birthday arrive on time. It not only arrived a week late, although the envelope said 'pictures...do not bend' clearly on the front, when it finally arrived a week late, it was folded in half and shoved in the mailbox. I have pictures, by the way, but no one at the post office seems at all interested in making me whole. I have to re-buy the item and pay to ship it again (no point in paying extra to arrive quickly). I paid extra so I could buy everything all over again. Thanks. I submitted a request for a refund three separate times on the web site, and I've gotten two emails saying it was 'resolved', even though no one bothered to reach out to me, and one giving me the link to request a refund on line, which is laughable, since the three times I did it got me nothing. I rarely give reviews but this post office at LEHIGH VALLEY DISTRIBUTION CENTER has me fuming!! i understand every once in a while for a package to be delayed, lost, etc... but in this place it seems that any of my packages that go through here they seem to be lost for weeks!!! and these last 2 packages that im waiting for were mailed out nov 13th and nov 20th they have been processed and then sent out to the next facility which would be the final destination ... keep going back to Lehigh then showing processed again!! This is an old, old post office in Easton PA. When I arrived, sort of mid-day on a Monday, there was only one window open. Clearly there were a lot of people missing around in the back - must have all been on coffee break. The person at the one working window must have been trying to keep up with snails or turtles. There were about six people in front of me. My two minute drop off an overnight delivery envelope took 30 minutes. Not a fun experience. read more

My package order was sent to Lehigh Valley on the 13th of December. My order began on November 29th. According to shipping details it is still there. From what I am hearing from even my local area people are being told their items are lost. If you are on volume overload the post office should of prevented shipping to there to another facility even if out of state. At least people items would have been shipped sooner than Lehigh Valley. read more

Don't recommend going to this location to drop of your mail to be shipped. Spent couple minutes being chastised about the box I had not being pre taped before shipping. Figured I would get tape when I got here. Female employee behind the counter was nice enough to let me use tape some one left but then proceeds to complain that I was using too much. Did not appreciate the male employee wearing sunglasses inside the building also chiming in about the tape usage. If it was a huge issue I could have just purchased the my own tape. The lack of professionalism and customer service atmosphere at this location is extreme. An adult does not need to be verbally disciplined about what packages they have ready to ship or not, specially if there was no line waiting for service. I felt like they were less annoyed with me not being ready than the noise the tape dispenser was making. read more

This is the closest branch to my office, so I end up there after work at least once a month, buying stamps or shuffling a package off into the big post office world. They are friendly. The line always moves fast (yes, I know it doesn't seem like it does, but that's because the line is long, not because they are inefficient). They have an APS machine (the automated machine that will sell you stamps & postage for packages). They'll do your passport applications. They have a wide variety of postal store paraphernalia. It's also one of the major sorting locations for the Valley. It's one of the best in the Valley, in my opinion. Speedy service is a good thing! read more

OMG! I thought it was just my package disappearing at Lehigh Valley post office. It's part of a loooong trend of poor service and disappearances!!! My "2-day priority" package just stalled in Lehigh Valley post office back on May 20th. It should have been delivered to Lancaster, PA on May 21!!! UPSP.com has, AT A MINIMUM, a 30 minute+ wait for phone service. And even then, there was almost nothing they offered in regards to finding my packaged. I've called them FOUR times!! I have a tracking number, a case number and an online complaint number. And the best I've been given regarding a direction to take next is to just call Lehigh valley post office myself! WHAT???? I paid $14 for the post office to deliver it and I've got to track it down myself, too??? No refund. No accountability. No stinkin' HELP??? This is totally unacceptable!! read more

Paid $14.00 for priority delivery in 2 days to TN. 1 week later the letter is tracking in Honolulu, HI. Went from Lehigh Valley facility to Honolulu, not TN. Want my $14.00 back and the $50. insurance. Envelope had a check for my daughter's truck repair of $1,500. error made at this facility. not long ago they mistook the return address in a common double window envelope as the ship to address and mailed me my own check which took a few days and incurred a late fee and penalty to my account. This is the worse facility I have ever seen. I can't count the packages that got misplaced or put on the wrong truck. In the last month all of my packages have been delayed. Last week all the mail that was to come to my local post office was sent in the wrong direction. I have sent complaints but it always end up at my local post office and that's not were the problem is. I've just filed a complaint with the PA attorney general online. My package should have been delivered TODAY 9/29/2014. No updates have been made UNTIL I've submitted 3 complaints already with USPS. Now they shipped it to the sorting facility in Philadelphia and I live in East Stroudsburg. I swear, they're doing this out of spite. So I just filed with the attorney general. USPS is a disgrace. Mailed out local taxes April 1. Just got them returned to me by the post office saying I owed .21 cents! This was not an overstuffed oversized envelope! And I just got it back...after April 15! When I called Keystone tax they informed me that I am not the only person this has happened to and now I will have to pay a $10 late fee! read more

Package left Lehigh Valley 10/15/15, got to Atlanta GA on 10/16/15, sent to Memphis TN on 1/18/15, returned to Lehigh Valley on 10/20/15. Package was suppose to be sent to Arizona via First Class. This Post Office gives the USPS a bad rap. Shame on you. read more
