ebay delivery showed delivered at 3:39 am on august 28th. no one drove by our house within an hour of that time. i checked the mail around 12:00pm....no mail. Our mailbox is secured with a lock and the mailbox was not tampered with. I checked our home footage and no one stopped by our mailbox all day. Tried calling the post office but the phone has been 'busy' (likely off the hook) for an for over an hour. It's now 1:40pm. I now believe the postal worker lost, stole, or misdelivered the item and I have no recourse....I had something very important to me in that mail which is why we had tracking on it. read more

Absolutely awful. Only one person working inside. Very dirty. Doors don't look like they have been cleaned in months. Rugs/mats are filthy. Very unfriendly. No one smiles. Never coming back here. read more

This post office has never given me any issues. The woman working here was kind and efficient. I did not wait long today but they do a thorough job meeting everyone's need as far as I've ever seen here so it's understandable if the volume of customers causes a wait. Today I waited less than two minutes having to get in line twice. I'm trying to counter any negative reviews here because the workers do their best given any circumstances, especially when they may be understaffed at times. Give them a break! They're always so nice here. If you don't see anyone at the counter, they're finishing up customer's requests in the back and there's not always additional staff to cover the counter. Any issues I've ever had with USPS has been in transit, not at my local post office. Plus, if you're able to ship your mail through them, USPS beats UPS by a long haul. I think people just tend to leave reviews when they're angry instead of when they're satisfied, lol. read more

Worst Post Office I have ever encountered. At best they have one elderly worker at the counter of this large facility. Surly and slow outfit, looking into getting my mail sent elsewhere as they keep banker's hours and are closed Saturdays. I stand behind the USPS generally but this office is horrid and needs a staff overhaul along with an overhaul the physical plant. Unless you need to pick up your registered mail, use the Greenbriar Mall branch as it has better hours, open more days and staff at least appear happy to be there unlike the East Point location. read more

Be realistic when you walk into this Post Office - or any Post Office for that matter. If you expect to walk in and be helped right away, you are in the wrong place. Expect to see a line (if you don't then yay!) and please for the sake of the others waiting, put on your patience cap and wait your turn quietly without all of the huffing and puffing. The women - and gentleman - that work up front are going to meet you with as much respect as you show them. I always have a pleasurable experience when I go to ship, which is almost daily. Trust me when I tell you that they would like to get you out as quickly as you would like to be, but it just doesn't work that way. It's nothing personal. To the woman who decided to raise hell the day after the passing of one of their dear employees, if you ever happen to read this... shame on you. For those of you reading this review with the mission to find real info instead of a rant: the East Point Post Office is clean, air-conditioned + the employees are wonderful. The supplies you need are neatly stocked and if you can't find something that you're looking for, the staff is ready to assist. The only downside is the occasional + inevitable wait. If that turns you off, there is a UPS store off of Camp Creek Pkwy that you could try. read more

Every person here should be fired. It's ridiculous that we have to fight to get mail. And don't even bother calling them, they won't answer the phone anyway. Literally have to stand outside near the mailbox and interrogate the mail lady about why I'm not receiving my mail. Unbelievable. Smh. WORTHLESS!! read more

The manager is the most rude manager I have ever dealt with at any place in America. Her attitude is ridiculous. I had to come up here two times to get a package that THE MANAGER lied and said they didn't have. But in reality she was just too lazy to go back there and look. A back room employee took the initiative to go back and look and she found my package. After the manager sat there and yelled at me and made rude comments to me and telling me to never come back again she still did not come out and apologize after they found my package. I hate going here because of her. She needs to be fired immediately. And not to be rude but they need to put younger people at the front. I went in to change info on my PO Box and the lady "forgot" to update it which caused me to not receive mail for 3 weeks. Throw the whole post office away read more

They have put my mail in the wrong box SEVERAL times. They even put my new drivers license in the neighbors box. Had items delivered and didn't get. Missed birthday and Christmas presents in the mail because they lost them. I have gone up to the office and they just don't care. They even lost my passport. Now i have to go up there and see what happened to a Christmas present that is missing now! Ugg smh read more

You may miss this post office depending on where you are coming from. I came down Washington Road and was told that my destination was on the left but I did not see a post office. When I was able to spot the location, it was on a one way street that I could not get to, so keep your eyes peeled and be careful. There was enough parking and the service was great. I enjoy seeing pleasant people who work in the post office, they get a bad rep. read more

So, yeh, it's the Post Office- but I need a little bit more than this when I go to the Post Office! If you go at any point during the day and spend less than 45 minutes in line consider yourself to be LUCKY!!! The folks who work there are really pretty nice- it's a budget sort of thing as far as I can tell. They have one to two people working there in the front but usually it is just one person. And the temperature is not right. It's usually HOT in there. HOT + long wait = horrible in any situation. Also, this place NEVER has the flat rate boxes and it for some unknown reason does not offer a machine at which you can purchase stamps. Not even the old school, low/ no tech kind. Also, don't get your P.O. box here- if you have a package or something to sign for or something too big then you have to stand in the godforsaken line of death...er, service. And I'll say it- this place is dirty and unorganized looking. If this place were not a US Post Office it would SO be out of business. Monopoly is all it has going for it. read more
