I just came here because I missed a drop-off at my home. Came in around 4:30pm on Friday and there were about 5 people in line. Spent 15 min in line, looked back and there were 15 people behind me! This morning I came here to send mail and the wait in line was reasonable, and the woman who helped me was an absolute delight! Margie was so knowledgeable, fast, efficient, and friendly that I actually left smiling and feeling happier than when I arrived! She was able to answer my postal questions, determine the best way to send mail for it to arrive next week, and pay all within such a short amount of time while being congenial and kind! I am a frequent "spur of the moment" traveler. Recently, we left home for a several week trip and did not have our mail held. I was not able to accomplish the hold on-line and went into the Draper, UT post office for help. There, I had a very pleasant "Post Office" experience. Tina helped me fill the form correctly. Later she even contacted our Grand Prairie, TX Post Office to make sure it was accomplished, Then she called me to let me know it was done. You smoothed a potentially troubled situation. I had a package that I needed before a trip that was going to deliver the day after I left but Jeff and Brian were able to go into the back and find my package and let me come in at the very end of the business hours to pick it up. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Got there at 5:34 granted, I understand they close at 5:30... sorry I was past it by 4 minutes. I heard voices and knocked on a door a lady tellers through and said we're closed. I replied by saying I just have w quick question. In which she replied again, we're closed. Apparently they couldn't answer a question even. I'm in a wheelchair and just needed help dropping a package off, since I couldn't lift it into the drop box. She said she wouldn't help me because they were closed. Again only 4 minutes closed. Luckily one of the workers came our and helped. But that is absurd that they were so adamant on getting out of there they forgot about their customer service and their humanity. Shame on her. read more

My 2008 permanent address doesn't get USPS mail delivered because their system status shows up as vacant lot. It's a disgrace.

The secret to unlocking the magic of this post office is wait until well after lunchtime to ship your packages. If you come at lunchtime, expect to wait a....................very..................loooooooooooong...........................time. And it doesn't help when nobody seems to be motivated to deliver great service, but if you catch them at a slow time of the day you won't have to wait, and they just might crack a smirk. However, like most government run services they're hit and miss, well, mostly miss. Need to ship a package after hours? Good freakin luck. The priority mail shipping supplies aren't well stocked, and the handle on the parcel drop is broken, so what you'll get is a big middle finger to you and your bourgeois lifestyle -"Get here during normal business hours and wait in line with the rest of the proles"....And people want to turn the entire healthcare industry over to these folks? I've made 3 trips to different post offices with non-working kiosks or drop off bins now, and now I'll have to make a 4th just to drop off the packages that I was at least finally able to purchase postage for. The line was long but it moved very quickly. There were three clerks at the counter. The supplies were fully stocked. I had all my questions answered and I shipped my item. Never had a problem with the post office in Holladay for the past 10 years but since moving to Draper and having to deal with this branch, all I get are the employees' nasty attitudes and their lack of cooperation. This posting is a little misleading. This is a Post Office. If this were a review for the actual United States Government, I would be forced to figure out a way to give it a zero star rating. This post office is located conveniently off of 123rd South. Staff is fairly friendly, and you can expect long lines on April 15th and about every day in December. I'm pretty annoyed at USPS right now. I have an important package that was supposed to be out for delivery but could come any time until 8 p.m. So, though it's cold out, I started waiting outside as I'm in a basement apartment and didn't want the delivery person to try upstairs and leave when the neighbors didn't answer. I'd also left a large note on the door upstairs just in case. I was worried after it got dark that they wouldn't be able to read it... hence me standing around outside. I had my phone and kept updating the package tracker, when I saw this: An attempt was made to deliver your package. Please look for a notice of attempted delivery for the next steps. And this: Monday, November 9, 2015 6:28 PM, Draper UT US Delivery attempted So, apparently they sent a ninja as I never noticed a thing while standing in the driveway. I shipped a package using usps "if it fits, it ships" box dec 26th. the package was clearly marked as to which APO address it was to go. Instead of UAE- the USPS lady transposed the zip code and it was sent to APO in Germany. its now week 3 1/2 and the care package has not made it to my military recipient. SO INEPT. they wonder why they are going bankrupt. to top it off, they can only hope it gets to the recipient hopefully by the end of this month. Unfortunately the USPS has the corner if the military APO addresses. My new acronym to the USPS is -----US post stupid. Lines are extremely long. They take forever to do things and they never answer their phones. And they keep putting a card in my mailbox telling me that my residence is vacant and it is getting old and I've talk to them about that hundreds of times and it never gets resolved. read more

On a regular I shop out sales via Priority Mailing and it never fails I'm tested awfully. Mainly because I have the wrong box. So I use the other one the next time then I'm told that's the wrong box. I wish they would fix this. I've filled out countless surveys and now here and I'm almost positive no one gives a flying f***. You would think they would care because of the money they waist on all the boxes and repackaging. When I didn't receive an item I ordered I contacted the sender and found I had listed the wrong house number. The name, street and city were correct. My husband went to the post office and was told it was received back and was returned to sender. After three weeks the sender contacted me and said it had not arrived. I went to the post office and was told the item had arrived back at the Draper post office but they had no record of what happened to it from there. I was told it was probably returned but they had no tracking information and the sender should have received it by now. It was my error,but with a name, street and city it could have been delivered. read more

Our mail has been placed in wrong boxes and we have received other's mail for the last month. They have lost a priority mailed package containing a Corvette shirt which was for my husband's birthday, birthday cards and other expected mailings. The Staff in this location are so rude. I have attempted to return a package twice now but they are so terrible I have walked out twice. The Draper City Post Office consistently delivers our mail/packages to someone but its not us. Have actually had packages delivered to different city than Draper and marked as delivered. If USPS is the carrier we no longer place the order knowing there is a 50/50 chance we will never see it. Draper City post master could care less, this has been going on for years. Beyond pissed off. I ordered a package on the 10th.. it was suppose to arrive at my apartment by the 18th. Tracking stopped updating on the 18th and didn't ever update again. I gave it a few days.. called the post office a few times and got hung up on.. went to the post office on the 20th - They said they didn't know where the package was, took down my name and number and said they would call me as soon as they talked to the manager. I waited and waited. Today (27th), I went into the post office, spoke with the manager and he showed me a picture of my package. He tried to tell me that I didn't put the correct address.. really?! No. I put the right address and when you look at the picture, you can clearly see that the paper was ripped so you couldn't see the correct apartment number. He proceeded to tell me that the package got sent back days ago! Are you kidding me?!? No one called or reached out to me to even let me know. Complete bullshit. read more

Package was lost. Tried to call and their number just rings busy all day, so if you don't want calls, how bout not listing a phone number? So I went there and their rep looked up my package and said it was delivered. I had looked on the tracking website and it just was in "Acceptance" mode. So I asked her how she knew it was delivered and she said I must've put the number in wrong, cuz I'm totally stupid. So I asked again, stated the recipient didn't receive it and she says "Welp, it was delivered in the mail box." I replied "So the box was about 3 feet wide, that fit in a mail box huh?" and she said "Yup, that's what they put" and I said again, "so where are you seeing that it was delivered, because on your tracking website, it just says "Accepted" and it's sitting there. She said again, you must've put the number in wrong. I came home, re-entered my number, it's just sitting in accepted status.
