I sent a letter almost a month ago and I spoke with someone to get clarification as to what the process/next steps would be, I could not finish my sentence or fully ask a question without getting rudely cut off. I asked what would the process be in 3 months, 6 months down the line if the receiver never gets my "package" and she started to get into package details with a tracking code and I tried to correct myself and say "letter" but she said "I am not going to do this with you" and hung up. Of course I am referring to a letter, that was the whole point of the conversation. She was super rude, unprofessional, not sure how/why she is an employee there if she is unwilling to help people. We used to have a great mailman named Gary. Once he retired, our service has gone down the toilet at the apartment complex I live in off Marsh lane here in Dallas. Mail gets "lost" that they insist they delivered. They NEVER leave slips in the mailboxes to let us know that we have a package delivered at the office. More than five times in the last 8 months, I've had other people's mail in my mailbox with their correct address on their mail and yet there it is in my mail box. I've knocked on doors here in my complex giving people their mail that was in my mailbox. Each box is clearly numbered. How do you screw this up? I think most government employees don't care if they do a good job or not because it's so hard for them to be fired. Now here I am a week from Christmas and waiting on a box of materials to make pens for custom orders and the box is nowhere to be found. Their incompetence is going to cost me literally hundreds of dollars. And that's not even counting what I paid for the items in the box that can't be found that they have marked as delivered at my apartment office. I'm in the verge of swapping my shipping for my pens over to UPS or FedEx. The USPS jacks up their prices every year and every year their service is getting worse. I give them thousands of dollars in business each year through my small business shipping and my service from them is below poor. I gave 1 star because there was no option for 0 stars. All their feedback on here reflects what I'm saying and they don't care. I even showed the manager at the Trinity Mills Branch the Yelp feedback and I got a shoulder shrug and was told to come back tomorrow morning at 7:30am. If this box is not found, that means I can't complete pen orders I've got to make today. And that means I'm going to lose customers because I can't get those orders made in time for Christmas. They don't care that I'm potentially going to lose hundreds of dollars in sales. An insurance claim for that box won't even come close to making up the lost sales I may have because of the poor service from the USPS. read more

Being a letter carrier myself, this is painful for me to do. But I expect the same service that I give and this place is the worst post office I've ever dealt with. Unfortunately, I don't live in the zone that my post office services. It's serviced by this one. They don't even ATTEMPT to deliver your packages. They just leave 3849's (pink slip) in the mailbox. Then had the AUDACITY to tell ME, a fellow carrier, that they "don't leave certain types of packages at the door." Since when? Our job is to DELIVER THE MAIL! They're worthless. read more

They don't deliver your boxes so prepare to pick it up yourself. The farthest they'll go is an "attempt," which would be more understanding if they actually followed through with delivering again at another date like stated. They didn't even leave a tracking number for my package after a failed delivery. I shouldn't have to call my customer service to hunt down my package. I scheduled a paid pickup for my packages for 200 packages worker got mad because she came to pick them up and seen how many it was so She refused service because I wouldn't let her keep my card board boxes and returned my packages back into my store I went to post office to talk to the supervisor and she took up for the worker and stated "you didn't pay for the delivery it was free" I clearly paid $25 for the delivery and then she states "well go online to get your money back" and proceeded to help the next man of her color nicely but didn't give me the same color service (I am African American) and this was definitely a racist encounter we should all be treated the same and given the same customer service read more

The carriers do not attempt to deliver packages. Got an notification from Amazon that attempted delivery at a certain time. I was home waiting and no knock. I also looked at my cameras just to make sure I didn't miss them. No mail carrier even attempted to come to the door. I did see the mail van dry past my unit. Did not stop at all. I have told Amazon several times about using USPS delivering customer packages as the service is getting worse by the day, they do not value thier job, as I smelled our carrier and you can smell the liquor on his breath. Two stars because the staff on site at the post office is AMAZING!!! Super friendly and helpful. Meanwhile, their incompetent delivery people lose and steal our mail. A piece of constructive criticism that I can share is to not rush to the point of delivering mail and packages to the wrong mailbox. I checked my tracking link & saw a message that a notice was left in my mailbox due to no secure location being available. I knew this wasn't true because I always make sure to keep my mailbox free of mail. Of course, I step away from working to get in line at the post office. Once I retrieve the package, it has the incorrect apartment number written on the box. Even though my correct address is on the label. Not everybody is going to be honest and return mail that was not supposed to be delivered to them. That is my main concern. FYI - this location does not have a local phone number on Google. So I had no immediate way of contacting them once I discovered that I didn't receive a notice. Sherri NEVER delivers packages. She never tries to get a signature even after I enrolled in Electronic signature AND left a print of the enrollment with my signature on it in my mailbox. Still doesn't work. I've called and spoke to Melba the manager and nothing was done. I never have any issues with any carriers except Sherri. What's the point of paying for shipping and parcel lockers if we have to pick up our packages instead of delivery? Sherri has been doing this for 4 years but she will excuse herself bc of the pandemic. She will never change. Bent Tree & Consumer Affairs has already seen video and recorded messages to prove to show how she behaves with residence. She's rude. Bent Tree is well aware of this. BEWARE!! This is probably the most ghetto post office, full of lazy and careless people!!! They continuously lose packages, you can go any day and see multiple people standing at the door looking for packages. They will mark things delivered when they are not or you package will just go in limbo and they will not try and help you at all, this happens OFTEN, i have had several issues with them losing packages. The packages have tracking numbers yet they are not competent enough to track them. I've had an incident where my package was marked delivered, yet put in the wrong mailbox. I had to chase someone down for 24 hours before I snapped and someone retrieved the right box. The supervisor is firm but fair when you can get to him, but overall there's an overall "lack of ownership" when it comes to taking on the problems. You have to act like a total ass sometimes and I f*cking hate it, because it's draining. Everything about this branch is awful. The ladies and men behind the counter are absolute nightmares. They threaten to throw you out for trying to take a picture, which is a 1st amendment right. I ran into this post office during lunch to send a package to my son. This is my local neighborhood post office. When I walked in today, there were 3 attendants and only 2 people so I went to the 3rd attendant. Four minutes later, there were 10 people on the line. The attendant was pleasant and very helpful. I've been to many post offices where the attendants were unpleasant and unhelpful. I'd advise you to have your package and information ready. If I had to get my package together and got in the line 5 minutes later, then I'd been behind 10 people. If you are in a rush, don't go during lunchtime. read more

This is my home post office and my "go to" post office. The workers have always been courteous and kind. Packages can be picked up at the Dutch door in the lobby, so no waiting in the regular line although I went there this morning and there was no line! I often use the self-service machine if I'm mailing a package after hours. It takes my credit card. My mail service is good if the regular person is doing it. Occasionally my carrier will take time off and the substitute will get my mail confused. read more

I just don't understand how you get away with saying something was delivered and there is NOTHING in my mailbox. I understand we are living in some scary times with this virus but I can't leave my house due to having a toddler. I have spoken to supervisors here for several times about misdelivered mail, mail that said delivered when it was not, held mail that was supposed to be delivered that I had to go in to retrieve and packages that I waited at home to receive, only to find a slip in the box that said no one was at home. It appears that employee accountability is lacking. Most of the clerks up front are polite/courteous/and accommodating. I can tell you that the letter carriers (at least the ones that serve as relief people are not). Again, I was at home waiting on my newly shipped computer, and as I waited for the letter carrier to approach my door, they drove off. By the time I got my shoes on, they were out of sight and in my box with the mail was a slip that again, noted that no one was available to sign for the item. Laziness at its finest! I came in looking for a particular stamp for our wedding thank you's. The line inside was about 5 people long. I stood for a good 5 minutes before I got to the counter. The lady who helped me was very kind and found me the stamps I needed. If you arent looking for particular stamps, they have a person sitting by the front door at a kiosk that can sell them to you so you dont have to wait in line. read more

They don't deliver packages in my apartment complex. There are four package delivery lockers that are in the apartment mail room - once they are full (and it's a large complex, so they frequently are), they just leave a note in my mailbox that says they tried to deliver the package but weren't able to do so. But there's almost always someone home at my place because I work from home, so I know they didn't try to deliver anything. Whether I pay shipping for something I ordered or someone else pays shipping when they send me something, the point is that the full shipping price is paid. So I pay for a service but don't receive it. Isn't this theft? It's not like they give me a discounted rate since I always have to go to the post office to pick up my packages. How is this legal? It's a shame that the one or two good employees you encounter here can't roll back the stereotypical tide of government-run ineptitude and indifference. The automated shipping and postage kiosk is basically this location's only redeeming quality since lines routinely snake out to the door and the wait time for counter service requires you to scrape the bottom of your willpower barrel to prevent yourself from "going postal."
