The unofficial-looking form they keep leaving in my mailbox to complete.

This post office refuses to consistently deliver mail to my apartment. Every couple of months mail delivery stops and the carrier leaves a form in my box asking for the names of the people who live at the address. (And it's not even an official government form. It's like someone printed it out their home printer.) I fill it out, delivery resumes for a month or two, and then it stops again. I have given up. Worse, they return the mail to sender saying I don't live at the address. They don't even hold it for me at the post office for me to pick up. It's ridiculous. When I moved there I filled out a change of address form at my old address, and specified my new address. That should be all I need to do.

The key left to us to retrieve a package. It didn't work - shocking, I know.

U.S. Postal Service Drop Box

I have been irritated to discover that it is nearly impossible to find US Postal Service drop boxes…read moreanywhere anymore. I found this one the hard way, by driving by it, mentally noting its approximate location, and later investigating with the sole pupose of nailing its location. Someone on-line has made it easy for me at www.mailboxmap.com, but it wasn't the U.S. Postal Service! An attempt to navigate the USPS website for any information on drop box locations proved fruitless. At any rate, I thought it might be useful to the Yelp community to post this location. It's not always convenient to mail through your neighborhood mail carrier, especially if you live in a sketchy neighborhood. And not all post office locations are conveniently located for the simple act of dropping off a letter. I even double-checked that you can see this drop box from the street level view of Google maps. It's located near the Central Plaza marquee or sign, hiding right behind the FedEx drop box. This is on the westbound side of West Chandler Boulevard. My hopes are that by adding this location to the growing database of Yelp businesses, I can make somebody's day easier. If I ever get an iPhone, hopefully all of this will be moot because, as they say in the commercials: "There's an app for that!" And if there isn't, there oughta be...

Mr. Glen is a terrible representative of the US Postal Service, his demeaning attitude not only to me but to several people. There were several seniors inline that just accept his attitude, he speaks in a down grading manner " Your NOT ready move over there til you are but sir I have a question" Mr. Glen mover over there ( my question had to do with the 2 boxes I was sending my 2 sons in Afghanistan) I will not allow anyone to treat me or anyone else like he just did not anymore! He laks courtesy doesn't say thank you, come again nothing !!!! WE support the post office, wonder why Post office's around the country may be closing it might have something to do with the Attitude like Mr. Glen and the like of him. Then the other teller also a man (didnt get his name as I was so frustrated) again while I'm dealing with Mr. Glen with 10 or so customer's in line was playing around with a couple of boxes that a post office lady came up behind you and asked him if that what he was doing could wait till customers were gone. This location is very hit or miss. I came by here the other…read moreday around 1230pm to ship a package and buy some stamps. There were more than 5 people ahead of me and 2 people working at the counter when I arrived, but the line moved very quickly. I was in and out in 5 minutes. USPS offers their flat rate shipping boxes but sometimes, depending on where you're sending a package, it's cheaper to send your package in your own box. I needed to send a small box to Idaho, and it only cost $13. I also picked up some super cool SpongeBob stamps. A really good experience!

I'm just... Absolutely appalled…read more I recently moved, and changed my address with USPS. I did all the things, updated my address everywhere, but I haven't been receiving mail. I thought, okay, maybe it's just the transition from one place to the other. It's been nearly a month now, and I've not received mail. So finally, I order a package and it's supposed to be delivered through USPS. I'm excited, I've been waiting for this as the final step in my new home. Today, I received an email that my package had been returned to the sender, as the carrier "didn't recognize" my name at this address. So I'm pretty frustrated, and I call the USPS general call center. The gal creates a ticket, and says my local post office will have it in the system tomorrow, and this will notify the carrier that I do, in fact, live at my address. The gal also advised me to call this post office to notify the carrier that I live here and to deliver my package to me before it's shipped back to the seller. When I tell you, this post office is the absolute WORST, I am telling no lies. I call. I sit through their stupid automated messages. Then I'm told "one moment and you'll be connected to the operator". The phone rings. And rings. And rings. And rings. For three minutes, out of fcking principle, I sat and listened to this ringing. And then? THE CALL DISCONNECTS. I called three times to make sure I wasn't crazy - each time, just after the three minute mark, the call disconnects. Absolute BS. I loooooathe that this is my post office and I'm going to have to deal with their stupidity from here on out.
