If I could give zero stars, there would be zero stars. This place is horrible. I received one of those little orange cards in my mailbox a couple weeks ago, telling me I missed a package and to pick it up at this post office, it would be available at 9am the next day. No prob, I knew exactly what it was! It was a little gemstone I had ordered from India, cost me about $25, ordered through Ebay. I showed up the next day, and the woman behind the counter took my card and disappeared for like 30 minutes. FIRST bad sign. She came back, told me she couldn't find it, and to write down my phone number and name and she would look harder and call me IF, not WHEN she found it. I was a little upset with this response, and I questioned her. She immediately got nasty, and I simply said, I have never had this happen before, I just don't want to leave without making SURE it's not just in the wrong place or something. Wasted time. So, I reluctantly left. I'm telling you, these people are something. They are absolutely NOT going to help. So, I go home, don't hear anything for days. I call the post office, talk to one man, he puts me on hold. I hold for 30 minutes. I give up, I hang up. I call back the next day, I talk to another woman. I get her name. She tells me "she's going to get to the bottom of this" She takes my name and number, and "she's gonna call me back" I wait two more days. Nothing. I call again. This time I talk to yet another woman. I get her name. She sounds like she really means it when she says, "I'm gonna talk to my supervisor and we are going to get to the bottom of it, and I'll call you!" Nothing happened. A few days go by, and I get another card in the mailbox. This time, it is, of all things a "FINAL NOTICE", saying if I don't come in by the date two days from NOW, my item is going to be shipped back to India! YAY!!! I think, My gemstone package has been miraculously found!!! Only problem is that I can't get to the post office tomorrow, because I am keeping my grandbaby. So, my hubby volunteers to go pick it up on his lunch hour. Sweet, sweet man. OMG, Wish I hadn't sent him. He was in for more of same garbage. These people at this post office. They hadn't anymore found my package than they know what they are doing! They just gave him the same line. They took his little orange card, made him wait like 20 minutes, told him they couldn't find it, and asked him to write his name and number down on a piece of paper and someone would call him. He said he wouldn't do that. He said his wife had dealt with 4 people before this and he wouldn't do this. She disappeared AGAIN, saying she was going to get a supervisor. Another woman appeared, took the card again, and also the cards of other customers, and disappeared for another 15 minutes. She came back with their items, but not mine. She actually went back to what she was doing, and left my hubby just standing there. He asked her what he was supposed to do now. She just said. "Well, maybe it's already been sent back to India." NOT WHAT HAPPENED. It went missing 3 weeks ago. It wasn't scheduled to be sent back til at least tomorrow, if it DID get found. If you want to know what I think happened, I think someone realizes the packages that aren't insured, (yep, my stupid mistake, and then they develop some extremely sticky fingers) At least EBAY is going to help me out with this, they guarantee these type purchases. I have learned my lesson, though. I am NEVER, EVER going to have ANYTHING EVER shipped through USPS again because of this experience. These people are lazy, rude, indignant, and crooked. I would not say that if it involved just one person here. But this involved numerous individuals over a span of time and then the same thing happened with my husband. Beware. BEWARE read more
