Always a problem when I come here. First time, they didnt print shipping labels, no PDF only QR codes which sucks. Had to walk back, only one who doesnt print for the customer. Second time im here, they were randomly closed on a Tuesday. Nobody was here, and no sign was posted cause nobody was in the store. Its not even a holiday its March 3rd? Where is the workers?? Edit: Nobody was at the USPS until 11:18, 2 hours after opening. Their hours are very inconsistent. Call 919-856-1949 before going here to double check since its their local number. I'd been driving around with a package to mail for weeks so decided today was the day to get to a post office. I happened to be at the art museum so this office on Beryl Road was the closest to there. There are just a few parking spaces in front of the building. A sign says there are additional spaces in the back of the building though. It wasn't busy when I was there so I got quick and friendly service. If I am in the area again I would return to this post office. read more

This Post Office has a very friendly staff. The said hello as I walked in and thanked me as I left. The lady smiled and made eye contact with me, usually the employees at the other Post Offices do not even look up to see who is there, but not here, they greet you with a smile. This is a small Post Office and out of the way. I got in and out in less than 3 minutes. That is unheard of this time of year ( Christmas ) . Limited parking spots up front, I think 5 and one HC. read more

I operate a mail order business and ship out products three times a week. I go to this post office often ONLY because it's on the way to my studio. I've dealt with every counter person so far and two of them are amazing and super helpful. The rest are Miserable people who act differently depending on the person. The older woman never greets me and lectures me on postal services and has told me things I'm doing are wrong (things I've been doing consistently for 5 years). It's not that she tells me I'm wrong that is infuriating, it's the tone and volume she says it. She's trying to embarrass me in front of whoever else is in the room. I'll take my business to Cary and the one in Cameron village. They have never been rude to the customers. This is the worst post office I've been to in at least 5 years. read more

Today was the first time I've used the small post office on Beryl Rd. The service was fast, and the agent was very friendly and helpful. I've had several unpleasant experiences at another larger post office in the area. Since they tend to be busy, the postal workers are impatient, and rude if you need a question answered. Be aware that because the Beryl Rd. office is small, she needs to close for an hour to have lunch. read more

On days when I happen to make an appearance at the office and happen to need a post office, this is the location I visit. The postives: it's fairly close by, and the staff here have always been really nice. The negatives: it isn't obviously marked with the standard US Post Office branding so you really have to be looking for it; from Hillsborough St it's on the other side of railroad tracks; it has a very tiny and hard to get in/out of parking lot (especially if you have to wait for the train); and there's only a small number of post office boxes for rent. I have a box at another location so it isn't a factor for me, but if you are in need of one it could be hard to get one here. I'm happy to come here if needed because the people are always nice; however, I fear for my car in the parking lot and trying to get in and out! read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - anywhere else!! This post office puts a sheet of paper on the front door stating "We're Closed 4 Lunch" and literally locks the doors to the post office (PO Box access included) IF you can get in, and after the invariable 30 minute wait to get near the counter - if you HAVE to deal with one of the two hateful older women that work there, hang on, 'cause the business IGNORANCE of these clerks is astounding. The personal discussions between coworkers, arrogant attitudes and slothful working pace - this branch is the stereotype of government workers milking the system dry. And IF you complain... or ask to complain.. YOU get yelled at, hands go over badges so you can't read them and suddenly there's more than 1 clerk in the building. I watched today as "Marcialo?" (couldn't see her nametag) told a German exchange student his credit card was defective or out of money because it wouldn't let him buy $6K in money orders with his credit card. NO ONE can buy a money order with a credit card!!!! This young man nearly started crying because he thought his card was bankrupt. When I finally intervened and told him he needed to go to a bank, not the post office, the torrent that the woman opened on me was inexcusable. All because she was too stupid to know policy. She literally went through the paperwork of getting him 6, $1000.00 money orders - even AFTER he told her he wanted to use a credit card to pay for it. When he went to pay for the money orders (nearly 20 minutes later!), the card transaction was denied. SHE BLAMED HIS CARD for not being able to handle the $6,015.80 charge!! GO somewhere else. The rudest staff out of any post office I've ever dealt with. Very dismissive and aggressive. Zero willingness to help if you have a question, and they always act like they're out out by helping you. The building is tint and there is rarely any parking. You have to park on the side of the road. Avoid if you can. read more

I'm primarily reviewing this place to communicate how inconvenient the hours are. This is a small post office, but also the closest post office for me. The proximity often doesn't matter though because it is almost impossible for me to make it while they are open. Everyone who works at this location is super friendly and helpful. Whenever I am able to get here there's always tape available and someone to help with questions about packaging or to relieve the line of people who have stuff already ready to mail. That being said, they close at 4:30, take a weird lunch break between 1:30-2:30, and have no Saturday hours. It would be amazing if they could be open til 5 or at least for a part day on Saturday like many other post offices. read more

YOU SUCK!!! Your customer service and services are AWFUL!! I can't believe our tax money supports this crap. If it wasn't for Amazon, you'd be out of business. Maybe they need to reconsider how they deliver their packages because jerks like I just dealt with in this building!! World's tiniest post office. At least that is what I thought. But don't let its diminutive size fool you into thinking it is small on service. I mailed a package that needed to be taped closed. I have gone to other post offices that would direct me to the area of add-on sales items and suggest I buy a roll of packing tape. This location was all about taping it up for me! No extra purchase required. I was happy. They were also very quick and gave me a run down of all my shipping options with a smile:) Also, there is more parking than you would expect for such a small office. I had to drop off a couple of packages to be shipped and I was in the area, so I stopped into this USPS. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to find parking, because their front lot was very small (come to think of it, this entire location can be described as "small"), but I got lucky- score! The lady that helped me was very pleasant. I ship a lot of packages so I already knew the drill, had my DC forms filled out, etc. and I think that went a long way towards ensuring our transaction was very quick and easy. I may have just overlooked it, but as far as I saw they did not have one of the automated machines you can use to ship Priority mail packages when the office is closed, like they used to have at the Crabtree location. They should really consider putting one in, because their hours are really limiting (close at 4:30pm and not open at all on Saturdays??) and, thinking they were open until 5, I almost didn't make it in time to mail my packages! read more

As post offices go, this is a nice little out-of-the-way location that doesn't get the throngs of crowds post offices usually do. The staff are friendly and eager to help, and the only thing I can really criticize is the physical building. It looks like it was built in the 50's and last updated in the 1960's. The two times I've come this post office has been disappointing. Very small parking lot and very crowded. Also made me fume that I walked into the door to find the inside door locked. I watched their last customer walk out of the locked door and shortly was told that they were closing for lunch. I asked if all locations did this and the woman working said "no just this one"?! Worst post office. Employees are rude and don't know what they are talking about they will try and over charge you for packages tell you that only plans deliver to that area. I would suggest using any other post office before this one. read more
