When your at the house all day and they did not come, when the Amazon text says they literally were at your door less than a minute ago and your sitting right there. Oh. Funny. That was then. Today I got a last notice of trying to deliver something that needed to be signed for they said they tried to deliver it on may 30. No notice was left. I check the mail myself every day. Oh and this is the last notice (it's going back tomorrow) and the post office is closed now of course. Just one of a few good stories.

I went home and called customer service. They confirmed post mark stamps are FREE. Today I went to send my tax payment and asked for a postmark - the same lady argued that she could not do it unless she charged me. I don't like to cause a scene, but I insisted that she do it anyway. She kept trying to give me a certified mail form. Once again I went home and checked the USPS website. https://about.usps.com/newsroom/statements/010226-postmarking-myths-and-facts.htm In short - postmark stamps are FREE. Don't let them try and charge you. I wish someone would educate her - I feel bad for the people she bullies into paying.

US Post Office - Over 20 people in line when I left on an early September day. I arrived and 12 people were in front of me and waited 40 min.

This was the worst experience I've ever had here from many standpoints…read more.. There was ONE employee working. When I arrived there were 12 people ahead of me. I spent 40 minutes waiting in line patiently with everyone else. I was next up and waiting for my turn when I overheard the employee telling the customer "I hate this place. I wish it would burn to the ground. The only good thing about this place is it forces me to update my resume". When you wait for 40 minutes in line calmly like everyone else you really don't want to hear how disgruntled the employee is. When I was done with my two envelopes and two bubble packages the line was literally to the door! When I left there were over 20 people waiting in line!!

The worst USPS. They are always understaffed and there are long lines at all times of the day. They…read morehave a drop box for prelabeled/paid packages and also direct customers who have prelabeled/paid packages too large for the drop box to leave on the counter or next to the door at the side of the counter. What they don't tell you is they don't scan packages put in the drop box, left on the counter/door! You have to wait in line for an hour to have them scan a prelabeled/paid package in order to get tracking for it. If not, they apparently just don't scan it and toss it on a truck and you don't get the tracking service you paid for! Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. From other reviews, this seems to be the only location that doesn't properly scan packages in. It's really nonsensical.
