Sometimes they start the hold late. They never start the delivery again on the right day. How hard is a vacation hold, guys! Twice, I've picked up a trail of letters strewn down the road to deliver to my neighbors' mailboxes myself. We get each other's mail all the time. They can't seem to close the mailboxes - maybe they need to hold a training on how to lift up the lid and close a mailbox? That seems to be very hard as well. Leaving an over-sized box by opening the mailbox and "teetering it" on the open lid? Really? In the rain? Levels of incompetence that border on unreal. Unfortunately, they're a monopoly. As a business, they would have zero customers...

They are friendly and helpful. My delivery guy Ken is the best ever! I make a lot of work for him and he never complains, always a smile. It has now been one full year since Center Ossipee NH post office employees began a systematic…read morecampaign of retaliation and harassment against us solely because we filed a complaint online against a horrible carrier who randomly did not deliver our packages for no reason during all seasons for over a 2 year period. During that time I tried repeatedly to go to the post office, speak with L. Pendarvis and hope the situation would be dealt with. I never at any time spoke to the carrier about this issue; I felt it was the right thing to do to go to the postmistress instead. Whenever I went there, I was immediately met by Lorey having a defensive, 'pissy' attitude. I was always polite, but Lorey simply would never listen or take any action whatsoever. One day the carrier DID NOT deliver our package, but left a note saying "PACKAGE DELIVERED TO PORCH". No package was anywhere on the property, causing us to run up and down the street checking with neighbors to try and find our package. Finally we went to the post office where Lorey hid in the back room making a phone call so we would not hear. She came back and said our package was 'with the carrier', (duh), and she didn't know 'why she would have left the note saying delivered to porch'. She looked uncomfortable and shifty-eyed while saying this. This was the last straw, and so after over 2 years of having this totally incompetent carrier we finally filed a complaint online. This has now been a year of employees at the post office not delivering our packages, and of calling us on the phone only to yell and harass us, and to take part in creating false narratives and lies about us with the collusion of the agents at USPS (OIG, Maine) as a means to try and justify their withholding or our mail. Things became even more serious last June when we we received anonymous phone calls threatening us and a pet. We called the police and met with a sheriff's sergeant. We did online sleuthing and were able to discover who the person was, and the Ossipee police and Sheriff's dept. officers went to their home where they were told they would be arrested if there was one more episode. A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT WAS ALSO FILED AGAINST THEM AT THE TIME. It's important to know that the sergeant stated that this harassment had happened AS A DIRECT RESULT OF EMPLOYEES OF CENTER OSSIPEE POST OFFICE MAKING FALSE AND INFLAMMATORY STATEMENTS ABOUT US WHILE AT WORK, TO RANDOM CUSTOMERS WHO DID NOT KNOW US. This then was the catalyst for someone to decide to anonymously threaten us. Yes, this is the kind of sick people working at USPS and at our local post office. We started early on to record every conversation with those employees when we realized that we had to fight against their outrageous lies. We installed a security camera. Now, a year later, this retaliation continues. This carrier lies repeatedly, makes up stories, and has never been reprimanded, held accountable, or lost her job. Linda is a despicable liar and an idiot. Recently she has told her bosses that she didn't deliver a small package to the mailbox because it was "too heavy". IT CONTAINED 2 POUNDS OF PROTEIN POWDER IN A PLASTIC CONTAINER WITHIN A COMPACT BOX. Another day she didn't deliver because she said she 'couldn't use her reaching stick'. ANOTHER DAMN LIE! I WATCHED HER FROM THE WINDOW RECENTLY AND SHE NEVER USED A STICK TO PUT PACKAGES I THE BOX. ALSO, DOES THIS SLEAZY LADY NOT REALIZE SHE IS ON CAMERA????? WE HAVE PROOF THAT HER EXCUSES ARE LIES. I was told recently that what had happened to us was not acceptable and would not continue, and that we would get ALL OUR MAIL/PACKAGES DELIVERED, yet the abuse continues. This is directed to employees of Center Ossipee post office since we know you see complaints. We are holding you accountable for the disgusting retaliation and abuse that continues. Months ago we had a CEASE AND DESIST LETTER SENT TO LOREY PENDARVIS/(LINDA/OTHERS) DUE TO HER/THEIR VICIOUS GOSSIPING THAT HAD CAUSED THE HARASSMENT AND CRIMINAL COMPLAINT WE HAD TO FILE. WE ARE STILL CONSIDERING TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THESE PEOPLE DUE TO OUTRIGHT SLANDER AGAINST US. Due to the fact that this has now been ongoing for a full year, we have just again sent a package of material to someone at USPS in Washington DC who has to do with RETALIATION, ABUSE, AND HARASSMENT AGAINST CUSTOMERS. Do you people not understand that we have physical proof? We have audio of what you have said. We have video of the carrier delivering and NOT DELIVERING PACKAGES, and PROOF THAT SHE HAS LIED! We have police reports. We have witnesses that have come forward to us that heard you and offered to testify against you;. We are responsible, contributing citizens who have lived here for over 26 years. We have never had an issue with a carrier, etc., and never had to make a complaint before a year ago. So we received the mail that would otherwise have gone astray. We have also used the "general delivery" to the Bristol post office, and they have always been very nice to us. Much, much better service than in our home state / major metropolitan area.

A quality control check is very much standard procedure. Being music, it was important that the copies are usable. (I have had files printed before that were apparently reduced when scanned and I wanted to make sure these files were going to be OK.) After getting a song and dance that it would create more work (honestly, I thought that was his job!), I asked if there was a problem printing the test pages and the answer was "no". But that didn't stop the incessant arguments about paper sizes and anything else he could make a case of. It was totally uncalled for and I felt I was being harassed. I finally had to say I wasn't there for an argument, just to have my files printed. It was a nasty experience and I will think twice, nay thrice, before ever deciding to step foot in this place again. If UPS is going to hire such unqualified help, they need to up their supervision.
