That's only because I can't give zero stars. They literally drove our house every time and my email says "attempted delivery".

It was the Center Tuftonboro General store and Post Office. OMG! When I walked in, I almost cried with nostalgia. My grandparents owned Dorions Market in Rumford, ME when I was growing up. This was almost a carbon copy. The floors, the smells. And then, the beautiful proprietier, Mary. She was dressed like she was working at Saks 5th Ave! She saw the emotion I was emitting and gave me an awesome, brief history lesson on the store. And, when I said I needed ice for a party down the street, she said "Oh, are you here for Maribeth's 60th?!" Love small towns, love authentic, old General Stores. What an absolute treat for me! I can't wait to go back!

The old wooden post office boxes still in use at the back of the store were really cool. There's a big carved indian as you come in the door. The proprieter claims this store is probably older than the Bath Brick Store. Don't know how he reckons that, but I have no dog in that fight (that I know of). There's a guy in the back who makes pizza and subs. Best meatball sub I've had in years. Making a meatball is an art! Pretty drive and good place to stop for a sandwich if you're in the area.

Avoid them like the plague. Fedex is just not a good competent company from my experience…read more Almost every time I deal with Fedex it's a bad experience. In this case I ordered a snow blower and the vendor used Fedex Freight. It took Fedex a week to get it across three states and near to my location, then on the scheduled day of delivery they drove 1 hour past and north of my location to their Fedex freight office (does that make sense why drive past my house instead of dropping off and miss your delivery date?). When they got to their office on a Tuesday, their freight office was closed so I received a delivery exception indicating that the "customer" was closed and not available to sign. Um I'm the customer and I'm a residence, and I'm open. The next day was Christmas so they were closed. Glad this wasn't a present. The day after Christmas I called Fedex and they told me I was closed so they couldn't deliver. What insanity. I told them you mean you were closed. The rep insisted they were open and the info they had was that I was a business and I was closed. So I asked where did they get this info, they said from the shipper, which is a lie, because the shipper had my residential address. They said it would be delivered Friday so I asked well how do you know I am open if you believe I am a business, the woman twisted and turned and said we can't reveal internal info. I told her, look you know this is what happened, they delivered it after the freight office closed and somehow you are trying to blame me? So it sits on a truck until they open. I called the freight office directly and they told me they would deliver it Monday, not that Friday as I was told by the rep, not Saturday, not Sunday, but Monday. So it sits on a truck one hour north of me for almost another week (no worries I'm not in a rush for it luckily, just pointing out the absurdity and lack of customer regard they have.). On Monday we get non stop freezing rain and they show up at about 5 p.m. I open my garage door and the delivery person who is a small woman says she won't drop it off to my garage because it's icy out and she is not risking her life. So she drops it off at the bottom of my drive way basically on the street so that anyone can drive by and steal it? I told her this is ridiculous why do you hold my delivery for a week then deliver on the worst day, why not wait one more day and deliver it in dry conditions? Why don't you send a delivery person or two who can properly handle a large package and not a small weak individual who is afraid? This item is on a pallet why don't you have a motorized vehicle or simply drive the truck up my drive way and leave it at my garage door at least? I've driven both my cars up and down the drive way, it's not on a hill or anything. Her response, I'm just the driver, have a nice day. I basically hauled it up the driveway by myself. I can do that, I'm 60 years old and strong enough like the drivers they should be hiring, apparently Fedex freight hires people that are inappropriate to handle freight. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Fedex and if it were my choice they'd never deliver any item for me. Good luck if you are planning to choose them.

I am at this Fedex location at least once a week. Everyone is always so polite, knowledgeable and…read morehelpful.
