This is absolutely not true because our street and driveway were all plowed and clear at the time they "attempted" delivery. Also our regular postal delivery person had no problem delivering our regular mail and I had no problem making it down my street to go to the store in my front wheel drive car. This is the second time they have lied about attempting delivery. And of course I tried calling them today and the phone just rang and rang 30 times and no one can even bother to answer. You're horrible USPS. UPS is so much better than you!

Also, they are totally professional and have never messed up or lost anything for me. The lines are short-to-nonexistent, there's rarely more than a 5 minute wait. Even the building is cool in an old fashioned government-building kind of way. It's located right in the middle of town. There's a parking lot in back, but sometimes fills up. They will tow you if you park there for any other reason than going to the PO, so don't do that. If the lot is full, use the cheap and convenient town parking garage half a block away. PS And I have to put in a good word for our mail carriers, who also work out of this building. Ours takes great care of us, and I noticed he goes out of his way to help an older mobility-challenged person in our neighborhood get their mail easily. The mail carrier in our previous neighborhood was awesome too.

The package was left under the mailbox in the rain and was vandalized. Someone smashed the side of the box and removed a pair of gold earrings leaving the soggy crinkled smashed box behind. I tried 8 times yesterday to call the post office. The phone rings for number of minutes and then disconnects. I am going to try today again. usps will hopefully cover $100 of their insurance but I am out $200.

THAT is the biggest drawback of using this location, the potential for an accident, NOT customer service, which is efficient and well-managed, or package delivery, which is the only reliable way to get packages to certain locations. like my daughter in MS, where USPS delivery only works promptly 50 % of the time. Packing services are excellent. I sent very fragile crystal champagne glasses, packed by them, that survived the 2500-mile journey!!! A bit expensive ( except the free Amazon returns), but all shipping is expensive right now! At least this one will ship your package successfully!

It's rare to have a great experience at places like USPS or UPS these days, and I get it, sometimes…read moreit's hard dealing with people. But this location is unlike the rest. I've been coming here for years and it's never once let me down. The staff, most of whom I've dealt with at this point, are always kind, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Today I had to ship an incredibly large package, and the young man working went above and beyond to make it easy. That's just par for the course here. I've done returns, shipped boxes to international destinations, printed documents, and every single visit has been a good one. The ample parking doesn't hurt either.
