This is like my third or my fourth complaint against the post office in Campton New Hampshire. I…read morecalled them at 9:15 this morning. Asked why they didn't deliver my packages yesterday. Got another excuse about ice surrounding the mailboxes which is not my responsibility to care for. It's the parks responsibility.. so I was told to give them a couple of hours and then go pick up my package. I get to the post office. Oh, I can't find it. I said to them I called you guys at 9:15 and I said I would come and get my package. Oh well the woman didn't have look for it yet. What was the response thet I got. Apparently the post people deliver when they want to because I had a stack of mail dated September October just a few weeks ago whole big pile and the postmaster does not a damn thing about it not even close..

Just recently started having problems with this post office where mail isn't being delivered. After…read moreseeing a package was out for delivery since yesterday morning, I called them to ask why it was still out for delivery. This wasn't the first time it's happened, it happened a week ago as well. The excuse given is that my neighbor has a few dogs who are out on the property, so they won't deliver mail to my address for that reason. The dogs are not aggressive and are super friendly, and all the carrier has to do is place mail into the mail box on the side of the road without leaving the vehicle. But no, they won't do that. They are outright refusing to deliver mail.

For a scant 58 cents the US post office will pick up a letter, at your house, put it on an…read moreairplane, bring it all the way across the country and hand deliver it to wherever you want, in all kinds of weather. These kings and queens continue to do this, in the best possible spirits, considering the circumstances, in SPITE of postmaster DeJoy doing his best to destroy this miracle we all take for granted. The post office is the bomb. (Do not mail bombs - that's illegal - along with a bunch of other dangerous stuff) The Montpelier Post Office is especially the bomb. Sometimes snafus happen, with residency, mail forwarding, COVID, aging parents, and immigration, all during the Xmas season, and the Montpelier PO handles that sh*t with aplomb (but not a bomb - don't forget)

I recently wrote a complaint about the abusive treatment I was subjected to by my postman. This…read moremorning, I was pleasantly surprised when an official, newly appointed to this position, knocked on my door and apologized for this uncalled for treatment. Whereas the mailman represented the post office in a negative light, the official who spoke with me lent credibility as he personally spoke to this disrespectful employee. I wish I had asked the name of this official as I want his supervisor to be apprised of what an asset he is to the post office; and hope he is being compensated commiserate with his compassion and professionalism. Additionally, I want this sincere comment placed in his evaluation folder so the above deserving salary is addressed, and to ensure this comment is verbalized to him. Thanking you in advance.... A disaster. I mailed a package and sent with delivery confirmation. The delivery person claimed…read morethat the package was left with " an agent, front desk or mail room" It's a single family home and they never tried to get a signature. The package was left under the mailbox in the rain and was vandalized. Someone smashed the side of the box and removed a pair of gold earrings leaving the soggy crinkled smashed box behind. I tried 8 times yesterday to call the post office. The phone rings for number of minutes and then disconnects. I am going to try today again. usps will hopefully cover $100 of their insurance but I am out $200.

I had an awful experience here. Near closing time, my girlfriend and I were in the store when a…read moreworker instructed me to use an alternative door to pick up tape. The moment I returned, another employee--who hadn't moved from her desk the entire time we were there--suddenly jumped up, yelling "What are you doing?" three times, in an aggressive and confrontational tone. It was clear she assumed I was committing a crime--stealing mail, of all things. Only after realizing she had just racially profiled me did she attempt a weak, half-hearted apology. The situation could have been resolved with a simple, professional "Hey, why did you use that door?" instead of immediate hostility and accusations. This kind of blatant profiling is unacceptable, and the employees here clearly need conflict resolution training--or at the very least, basic respect for customers. If you value being treated with dignity, skip this place and take your business to FedEx instead.
