I am doing a short distance move with a two day turn around (pod placed at old apt., 2 days to load, pod delivered to new place on third day.) I had done some research on storage rental and found traditional storage units in my area are hard to come by and expensive. Decided to find out about Mi-Box and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were able to supply a pod within just 2 days after my initial contact, and the price was less expensive than the local storage facilities. I will be staying with family while I search for an apt., so using the pod gives me the opportunity to have my things readily available if I need anything and I don't have to drive to a storage place. It gives me added security knowing my things are safe in my sight. The Mi-Box rep I ordered from was very knowledgeable and helpful. My pod was delivered today by Ken who was so nice and professional. He placed the pod exactly where I wanted and took his time to show me how to best load and secure my items. After a google search and an on-line quote, I called Mi-Box and the gentleman that I spoke with (I think it was Chuck) was very courteous, professional and answered all my questions. I opted to use this company. Arranging a delivery date was easy and I was told they would give me at least an hour notice prior to arrival. We had to reschedule the original delivery date due to snow and I had no issue with this, it was a mutual decision. Sure enough, the driver, Ken called me in a timely manner to tell me he was on his way. When Ken arrived I had to do some last minute snow shoveling to ensure he could make it up my driveway, not a problem for me as his safety was a priority as well as getting the box placed. Ken expertly navigated my snowy and elevated driveway and got the box placed and secured. Ken was very professional and even took the time to tell me about the box and best ways to take care of it and even demonstrated the door open and closing for me. My husband and I where talking about what to use for moving and have decided to check out Mi-Box, we weren't sure how much it was going to cost versus a moving truck, I went to Tilton NH location and Wes was very helpful and explained the convenience of Mi-Box that we would be able to take our time loading and off loading it no rushing like you would a moving truck, Wes is very helpful, friendly and understanding he also explained the best way to load. Brian who delivered the container was very helpful and friendly and explained what he's doing and checked the whole container to be sure of how to work the door so we would have no problem's. This was a tremendous service - Chris the manager was terrific through the process. He was really flexible and easy to work with. The driver Mac did the initial box drop off - my driveway is super tight and difficult and he made it look easy, then walked me through how everything worked. When the box was delivered, Ken was the driver for that leg. The delivery spot drop off was a difficult driveway as well, and he handled it great. Both Ken and Mac were friendly and professional. When I opened my box, it looks just like I had packed it - nothing had shifted. Mi-Box's service continues to be top notch. We finally moved. When moving I emailed them and scheduled the container to be moved from one site to another. They contacted me back and confirmed the move. The day of they showed up as scheduled and delivered to the new address as promised. The container was placed exactly where I requested it and the driver leveled it once again. Earlier this week I called for the final pick up. Once again service was prompt and professional. My wife and I needed to pack up a 3-bedroom ranch due to a major renovation to our home in North Conway. The Mi-Box driver set the box up and leveled it carefully, and arrived exactly when he said he would. And after the 7-month reno, he can back in the middle of a major snow storm and carefully positioned the box on a slippery driveway so that taking our stuff out was a lot easier. We rented one Mi-Box to stage our house for sale. The Mi-Box sales person answered all our questions about where to locate the container, and the delivery person, Ken, did an awesome job to make sure the location was level. After we sold the house, we originally plan to rent a truck but decided to rent another Mi-Box so we could pack without rushing. Ken did a great job again at placing the second box. We used this company to store our household possessions for around 9 months. The staff was wonderful. We had to transfer billing to ourselves and everything went smoothly. When the boxes were picked up, the driver came on time and was efficient. When the boxes were delivered they were placed as requested. I just had a MiBox delivered to my house. Ken, the driver of the truck, was great. He made sure the box was placed exactly where I needed it. He showed me how to open close, and lock the storage box. He went over how to tie down items placed in the storage box so they wouldn't move around during transportation. I rented 36 blankets also. They were all folded and in great shape. The MiBox is in excellent shape. It appears brand new. An excellent company! read more
