So this is NOT a post office. This is the USPS distribution center. There are no retail services here.

Plays games with delivery of certified letters. Phone number listed just rings and rings. Have to…read morecall Camden to get through to get my call transferred to Collingswood, but this only worked one time. Signed peach form to get certified letter delivered. Next delivery, i'm in the room where I hear mail delivered, I hear the beeps of the machine, but no knock or doorbell. Go out to 'receive' the letter, and nothing but a purple slip - last delivery attempt. Spent the last hour trying to make a complaint. I'm at my wits end with these jokers!

I don't think I've ever had to pick up certified mail before. Usually if someone wants to know I…read morereceived their letter, they'll send me an email with a read receipt. But there's still some old-school people out there, and I was the victim of one, so I made the 10-minute trek from my house to the post office in the scorching heat. Upon arrival, the girl requested my license for identification purposes. I gave it to her. She looked at it and told me I was supposed to have ID with my current address on it. Of course, I just moved back to Collingswood so I didn't have it. Somehow I convinced her that I was really me, and she gave me the letter. The wait was short. The building was old. The trek to the post office was pointless because the letter was an exact duplicate of the one I had already received. But hey, at least I got some steps in for the day and now I know how to find the post office, should I ever need to mail a package or pick up certified mail again.

This post office can move a little quicker then the one in Cherry Hill, so although its a longer…read moredrive- the line is typically shorter. The post office building is split into two sections. The first has all the PO boxes, the second has the customer service and both sections have boxes and ares for your to prepare your mail. The customer service area also offers decorative envelopes and boxes for sale. Quick tip: Bring a pen, this isn't TD Bank and there aren't ample amounts of pens to use, so if you didn't prepare your mail before arriving bring a writing utensle.

I came in post christmas, so the post office was packed, yet there was only one employee working while the line was growing out the door. There were other employees who would pop in and offer to show people how to use the self service machine to buy stamps, but did not help any additional customers. The employee who rang me up was rather rude and I thought it was extremely odd he announced my total loud enough for the entire store to hear. Also, this location had run out of certified mail tickets. Not sure how it's possible for a post office to run out of those, but they offered no suitable alternatives in trying to help other customers out who needed them. I won't be back here anytime soon.
