The primary function of a POST OFFICE!!! And this is not the first issue I've had with this branch. The place is closed at inopportune times randomly, and the staff always sound like they don't want to do their jobs, either. This place needs to be shut down, and everyone in it fired. I get that you're working through stressing situations thanks to the idiotic trash government we have right now, but when you can't even fulfill the primary purpose of a POSTAL office, to SHIP PACKAGES, it's time to go! Shut it down, and put a UPS Store or FedEx in its place. They at least, you know, actually ship packages.

One time I brought a 15 lb package and a woman told me she had a bad back and couldn't put it in the the container which was literally next to the Shelf I put it on. She told me to go to another post office, even though there were two other workers there and they're all supposed to be able to lift far more than 15 lb. I avoid going there whenever possible, even though it is the post office that is closest to my house. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this post office. If it was any other business, it would not stay in business. They always use the excuse inadequate staffing. I blame that on the manager of the store, since this horrible performance has been going on for years

While, it does get long lines from time to time, especially during the holidays it's still shorter than the line at the Bustleton branch. I have been coming here all my life and I have never had any issues or problems. The people there are very pleasant and I would recommend coming here over the bigger locations.

I needed a few hundred stamps for work & the women working behind the counter were very friendly and pleasant. I wish I came to this location sooner, the other post office closer to my house is always busy, with a long line and the workers seem like they are over worked, this was a pleasant surprise. During my recent visit, I went in to complete a change-of-address form. After filling it out and handing it in, the employee assisting me didn't even know what the next step was. I had previously submitted a form and received a letter asking me to include additional information--information that was already part of the original packet. To make matters more frustrating, the representative advised me to send back only the requested item and not include the rest of the materials. That makes no sense, since it would likely result in another delay or another letter asking for missing information again. Overall, the experience was confusing and disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues, because the service has clearly declined. There use to be a tall man in there that really knew what he was doing and got you out fast and everything was accurate but now, I'm sorry you need to new professional staffing that knows what they're doing or new management. This was one of the most reliable post offices I could count on, but not now. I'm not even sure my change of address even got to the correct place. I'm still waiting and this was 2 weeks ago. I didn't get a confirmation from the representative or anything.

Did not prompt me to even tap the screen when it was time. Extremely unprofessional interaction. Why do we need sunglasses indoors anyway at a place of work? Was she hung over? In the past, employees will open up whenever they feel like it. Sometimes 30 minutes or more past the scheduled time. Why are there no repercussions for unprofessionalism??? I did that and when I got to the front of that line I was asked for my birth certificate. I thought that was strange. Why would I need that when I have a WHOLE PASSPORT. Nevertheless I left and returned the next day with the document. I stood in a line until somebody shouted out something about passports. I said I'm renewing not applying. They shuffled me to another line. I finally piped up and said all I need from yall is a photo and a money order. Suddenly everyone was clear. Oh, well you don't need to be in any of these lines. They're nice when spoken to, but they look pretty bored & miserable for the most part. There could be a small line of 5 people, but you can end up waiting for 20-30 minutes if there's only 1 staff working, God forbid. Fortunately, that has only happened to me once. Average wait time is around 5-10 minutes when there's 2 staff members, which isn't bad. The atmosphere is pretty quiet & dull under the fluorescent lighting. The location is pretty hectic as street parking can be a bit difficult sometimes. Efficient location to mail out my orders, but a word of advice, try to avoid mailing out your stuff the day after a holiday.
