This post office had lost…read moremy package (with the pink pick-up package slip) before and I had to get the product resent from the company; when I arrive to pick it up, I got both packages at the same time. I came recently to buy some stamps (I had ordered some on their website for specialty cute stamp designs) but I wanted the $5 stamp for a SASE author swag promotion- I couldn't wait the 2 week for delivery. And since I was there, I decided to buy some more Forever stamp booklet to continue supporting our US post office. Turns out, they have limited stamp designs and didn't have the $5 stamp so, they had to count out $5 worth of postage using the forever stamps. I didn't want 10 stamps on my large envelope but had to deal with that.

Title: Rude, Unprofessional and inhumane Service for family with newborn…read more We had a 10:15 AM passport appointment on October 30, 2025, for our 6-week-old baby at this USPS (2727 Mermaid Ave, Brooklyn). My husband took the day off, we arrived early in hurricane like weather, and the place was empty. The clerk was unwelcoming and rude from the start. She didn't even greet us. She looked at our baby's photo for a second and said, "It won't work -- the ears aren't visible." When I asked what we could do, she actually said, "Go grow your baby's ears -- your baby is too small for a passport." Our photo was taken professionally and fully meets U.S. Department of State guidelines, which do not require infants' ears to show. It is clearly stated at the Department of State website requirements. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely uncalled for. We left upset and frustrated after doing everything right. USPS needs to train staff in both professionalism and actual passport rules -- no family should be treated this way. Unacceptable service, attitude, I would not recommend this location to anyone.

And she will call me back and make sure that I received whatever was lost. There is one superstar that's working in that office that deserves the five stars. She has helped me on a few occasions, and she has always went out of her way. She actually made the carrier come back to my house the last issue I had. I will get her name and I will come back and edit this because she alone fixed a few bad situations. It only takes one superstar. So five stars to the lovely woman who picks up the phone.

A few times the staff would be on their personal phone and not really paying attention. The wait is always excruciating and they never have AC or the heat on. They also have a lot more restrictions on what they do at this location, for example, they will only allow certain about packages to be scanned per a visit.
