She ended up having to call another location and was able to find it and even called me back when it showed up to their location. I wanted to ship my carry-on to WA state instead of paying $64 to take it on the plane (Frontier). I was surprised at the good service and help I received. The guy found a priority box that fit the backpack, helped me package it and I was shocked it was less than $20. Overall great experience for my visit to USPS in Colorado. read more

This post office is great! It's just a regular post but the people they have working there are just wonderful. I had called this location in Brighton to see if they could cash my post office money order, they confirmed that they do and then took my number and called me when they had enough money to cash my order. This is hands down the worst post office I've ever dealt with. I even tried to wait a while before writing a review to see if it was a one off situation but NOPE! they're horrible. I hate leaving long reviews but I have to in this instance so you can see what I dealt with in a 3 week period. 1st the positive, there is only one thing though. The lines have never been long when I was there and they went through the customers quickly. On to my experience: - we moved into a new build community, went to the post office to get the key but they gave us a key for a different mail box - went back, they lost the our key. We had to submit an order to replace the lock (2 week wait) and hold our mail. So far, not a big deal - 1 week later, we went back to collect our mail, they don't have a hold in place. We fill out another hold form. I tell them that I have a very importance piece of mail I need ASAP. They say they'll have the carrier call me and/or bring it to the house. - 3 days later, no call, no mail. I call the 800 number to find out what is going on, they tell me there is no hold on my mail and my mail it's in our mail box (which I still don't have access to). I submit another hold request. - I FINALLY get a call from the post office 2 1/2 weeks after this process started. They say that the order for my new lock should be processed in the next few days. They tell me to put a note on my mailbox with my name and address and instructions to deliver my mail to my home. I wasn't super comfortable with advertising everything about me on my mailbox but whatever. Mail guy comes, doesn't bring my mail. - Next day, I put another note and he actually delivers my mail to the house!!! - Next Day, I get a call from the post office saying my lock has been fixed and I can come pick up the keys. I got right away to get them. I tell the guy at the counter I don't want to stop the hold on my mail until I make sure my key works. He goes in the back and doesn't come out for about 10 min, the other reps keep asking if I need help because I've been standing there so long. He finally comes out and hands me the keys and says "I also took the hold off of your mail" UGH! seriously! - Key works, all good....fingers crossed should be done with this - Next day, I get a call from the post office saying they're confused about my address because there is a note saying I haven't gotten my mail for 3 weeks and that I have a key replacement order for 2 different address but only 1 address has my name. SMH. They ask if I want to put a hold on my mail so I can get it at the post office until the lock is fixed. He also asks if I have already placed an order to have my lock changed or if he should submit one. My head almost exploded. OMG! WHO IS RUNNING THIS PLACE!? GET YOUR CR@P TOGETHER!! * side note, during the 3 visits to the post office over the last 3 weeks, I saw SO MANY other instances like this. One guy next to me said his mail wasn't in his mailbox but there was a bright green paper in it that said he had to go to the post office. He guy behind the counter said, this is because you placed a hold on your mail. The man said no I didn't! This location really needs some attention and probably a whole new staff. I've had good luck with this post office. Friendly, usually well-staffed. Only issue - they let people complete packaging and fill out forms at the window. Perhaps that is a USPS policy but it doesn't sound right no me. read more

I wish I could give a NEGATIVE star. This is the worst Post Office I have ever had for my local mail. They are constantly misplacing my mail or sending it to a different address. I am in Lochbuie, however they keep sending to an address in Brighton. Packages that I send are destroyed or items broken. Going into the post office is worse. With COVID-19 there was no social distancing. The line was about 15 people long and everyone was within a foot of each other. I cringe when I have to go there. read more

I would rate the Brighton, Colorado post office as the worst post office EVER. I have had birthday cards with money in them, never delivered. I have had other people's mail a lot. Right now INFORMED DELIVERY said I had a letter, which is my retirement check, was to come Saturday, well it never arrived!! You cannot call the local post office, goes right to Washington and the wait time on the phone is 1 hour. Whoever is running this post office needs to be fired!! read more

Terrible customer service. My package was lost and they claim it was delivered. I called to ask where it was and the lady didn't care to even check the tracking number she was short with me and said the courier would call me. Never got a call. My package is still missing even though the tracking said it was delivered over 24 hours ago. Their service must've gone down hill because last time this happened over two years ago the gentleman over the phone was kind enough to check and find out that my package was in a neighbors mailbox. If this is resolved I will update. Update. I receive my package finally but they were of no help and didn't explain to me why they claimed to have delivered it before it was delivered. If that was the case why didn't they tell me. They also didn't call me back when they said they would. read more

Impossible to get through to talk to anyone. A month ago on a Sunday, the lady driving a USPS truck delivered 4-5 packages on our front porch. Only one of these belonged to us. Being unable to get through to anyone we redelivered tha packages to the correct houses. On Sunday 2/27 USPS claims to have left a package at our door that we were waiting for at 9:18 am. This package was not delivered to our home as they state and our ring cameras in the front of our home confirm this. Again, trying to speak to someone at the Brighton, CO post office is frustrating and you can't reach a real person. read more

Not the best Post Office I've been to for sure. I had to send something certified mail and there were no green slips by the counter where I could fill them out prior to getting up to person at the counter. I hate making a long line of people wait while I have to fill out all the information at the front counter. Once up to the front counter, the woman was nice and very helpful. I wouldn't come back here if I had a choice, but since I work out here sometimes I have a feeling I may be back based on location. read more

These guys in our local post office work very hard, I'm amazed how fast they get you through the line, and Darren that help us, regardless of how busy they were was very pleasant and sufficient, went over the insurance options and had us out the door within a couple of minutes, which means a lot when you do as much shopping as we do. read more

I would give this location a -5 if I could. We moved into a new build on Dec 22 and we still have not been able to get our mailbox key. I've been calling these guys almost everyday to follow up. We have been getting other peoples mail in our box on a daily basis. Twice in the last month our entire batch of mail was in our neighbors box and theirs in our box. On Monday of this week we had 3 different peoples mail in our box. Four days in a row, we had mail in our box that was NOT OURS! What is going on? Horribly Unprofessional. I just moved here and saw that there was no diy machine so I waited in line and told the guy I usually use the machine and I need a little bit of guidance doing it without one and he made a rude face & said "We don't have a diy machine, Labels are behind you"! I said, OK thanks I'm not trying to bug you I just need a little help, and he says, no, you just want me to do everything for you! All he had to say was, I'm sorry but you're gonna have to use your own tape, labels are behind you, and I will do the rest. I don't understand why a grown man of that age would act so dramatic & rude. The manager came out, helped me, took her in one minute if that, she was very nice. She even had to ask him to stop making comments, extremely disruptive for all the customers in line. Anger management & liability are the 2 words that come to mind. Wow this place needs some help. 1. It's disgusting- needs some paint and a deep cleaning. 2. The staff there is unfriendly and understaffed. 3. The carriers cannot deliver my packages on time. And trying to figure out why and get it solved is a waste of time- you get an apology and that's it. I try to use UPS and FedEx when possible- but sadly we cannot avoid USPS. This is the WORST Post Office in Colorado! If I could give it a negative rating I would. My neighbors and even other neighborhoods in the area deal with continued mail being delivered to wrong addresses, delivered late (I once had a CERTIFIED LETTER that was mailed in October delivered the following FEBRUARY--with dirty footprints all over it!), or not at all. Try calling to inquire or complain and you are met with rudeness and receive little to no help. It also doesn't help that on the route my neighborhood is in, they can't seem to keep a carrier employed. Once Raymond, the idiot who was known for delivering mail to wrong addresses, stopping for over an hour at a neighbor's house to "visit," (WHILE ON THE JOB, and YES, I TIMED IT because I was waiting for my check which needed to be deposited before the bank closed, and NO, he didn't get it to me in time) was finally fired, the PO has not been able to keep a consistent carrier...and they ALL SUCK! My state income tax return was returned to the PO by the person whose box it was placed in (I wish they had just put it in my box, like we do the mail that ends up in ours), so I had to call the state !treasurer and report it, and now have to wait 6-7 weeks for a new one to be issued and sent! Now, I've just checked on two packages I've been waiting for. They both show as "Delivered" as of yesterday, and guess what? YEP! Neither has been delivered. So now I get to go through the unpleasantness of dealing with the PMG...again... read more

They are the worst lost or stole a rare poster left for delivery and never delivered acording to tracking number!! Live on a rural route that feel like the unwanted route. I know postal employees work hard and generally I am grateful for their services. However, this office has some issues. I never received one of my packages and they don't know what happened to it. The carrier says he might have left it the mailbox, or by the door, or maybe he put the key to mailbox in someone else's mailbox? And this package happened to be something that can't be replaced. I'm expecting more packages and I'm just so worried that they will get lost as well. read more

I disagree with the previous negative reviews. First, it's the postal service and typically the buildings are on the older side. But I don't go there to see a building. The counter clerks are always helpful, friendly, and have the patience of a saint. As an eBay seller I'm at the post office on almost a daily basis and watch the clerks work their tails off for rude and impatient customers. In particular, Marc (I believe I have his name correct -- he always wears blue latex gloves) is extremely helpful and frequently educates customers on postal requirements showing them how they might save money on future shipments, and coaching customers on packaging guidelines to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. When the line is long the clerks always call for more help and help usually comes. Please keep in mind that the counter clerks are in difficult, rude-customer-facing positions. Mutual respect goes a long way. read more

This place is a COMPLETE JOKE! My package was delivered Friday, Jan 20th at 3:55 pm according to both Amazon and the USPS websites. Friday, I was not given a key to the parcel locker box, so i called. Saturday, I was given the wrong key, which was to my neighbor's package. Sunday obviously no mail. Today, which is Monday, the right key was not placed in my box. I have Amazon Prime, which meant 2-day shipping... I have called and called and was told time after time that they will fix the issue. I am beyond frustrated. On top of that, they can't even put the right mail into the right mailboxes, so I get my neighbor's mail all the time, who knows if important mail is sent to other people. I do not understand how hard it is to do a simple task. read more
