I've been to this UPS many times and rarely do I leave negative reviews. I went this morning to open up PO Box . After standing there for several minutes, it looked kind of busy.. I stood there patiently and waited as the line started to grow with four or five people after me.. I casually ask the girl that was running in the back, hello are you available? She turned around glared at me and shouted in my face, NO IM NOT! . I literally was sitting there like wow, I have no idea how I deserve this as a customer to come in and all I did is ask if she was available I was patient and kind. After her rude behavior, I looked at her name tag and noticed that she was actually the manager of this location, which put me into utter shock . I stood there thinking how can I come in here every day to get my mail and have to see this horrible manager who is so rude and can't even treat her customers with kindness. After being told, it was $63 to have my PO Box , they added an additional charge of $20 registration fee one time fee. I looked at the girl who was helping me and thanked her for being professional and kind, but I told her that that $20 was not told to me and that I did not feel that I wanted to pay that. I stood there thinking this is the worst experience that I've had here the managers, horrible, and speaks terrible to people. I can only imagine how she treats her employees . I decided to not open my PO Box here nor will I ship any business here nor will I recommend this place . I always try to support small businesses, especially in my community. A good manager would have said hello good morning Miss I am busy right now but this agent right here will be right with you or I'm sorry Miss I'm busy right now, but I will be right with you. This UPS store must be desperate for management because as a manager myself, I would never ever speak to anybody in the manner of tone that she did to me. He had several pairs of high end sneakers. He took his belongings to the store and they helped him box them up. He purchased $1,000 in insurance even though the shoes were worth much more than that. A week later, the box arrived at our home in St Louis. We signed for the box and took it inside. Upon opening the sealed box, we discovered that all the shoe boxes had been opened and the most expensive pair was missing ($750 pair) along with the box. We immediately filed a claim. We took pictures of the tape on the box that had been clearly cut open and re-taped. We supplied those pictures. For a month we have gotten the run around. Misinformations has repeatedly been given to UPS corporate and we were just told that in order for the claim to proceed, we need the original receipt for the shoes and the packing label from the box. Both of which they knew on day one that we didn't have. We have been calling them several times a week for a month and UPS corporate refers us to the store. The store gives us the run around and says it is UPS corporate that is holding up the process. Someone stole from us. I would not ship anything of value here!

The building is nice and clean, employees are pleasant to work with. However I have had a space…read morefor 2 weeks and still cannot access my building due to some error with their security system. So far I have only been able to access during business hours, once with a temporary code and the other time when they just manually bypassed ten system to keep the building entirely unlocked. This significantly reduces the usability of the storage unit for me because their improved security yet easy access to my items are the important part. *UPDATE* 11/21/21-reduced to one star I went in with a truckload of items on Saturday, still the system would not allow me into the building. The manager tried to be helpful, but their security system seemed entirely broken. I was not able to access my storage unit that day and had to leave after about 30 minutes. I went in today (Sunday) to access, no luck. The main gate has a sign that says "keypad out of order". No further information, no apparent way to get a vehicle into the space, no estimate about when I can access the unit. This is the second trip I have made with a full truck and had to turn around. So in summary. 1. I have had the space for just under a month. I have only been able to access my space twice, both times required and extra 30-45 minutes to have a manager provide me a way in. 2. I have showed up twice and just had to turn around. Truck still full of items with nowhere to put them. 3. I have not been afforded the access I paid for, which is the entire reason I chose this facility at the significant price premium above other option. 4. Their security system is obviously not properly maintained. It has failed me 4 out of 4 attempts so far. The main exit keypad has a broken screen that isn't readable as well, speaking to the owners apparent tolerance for a poorly functioning system. Right now I am still hoping the can resolve the issues because the employees and faculty are nice, however I would not recommend this storage facility at this time. Consider Extra Space storage in Centerville if you are looking for climate controlled storage near Bountiful.
