This has been my experience in the handful of times I've been to this location. This is legitimately the worst post office I've ever been to. No matter what time you go, the line is long. One time, I was in the line for 45 minutes waiting, and one of the workers saw someone she knew get into the back of the line, so she brought her up to the front. The workers are never in any hurry, no matter how long people have been waiting. They'll say the side window is open for certain things when it's not. Avoid at all costs. read more

The absolute worst! 31 minutes inside a building with no AC. 4 workers when walked in, was the next in line then they all disappeared for 14 minutes. I have Informed Delivery which gives one a preview of incoming mail. I received an Informed Delivery email on July 11, 2026 with an image of a letter that I was expecting about a family reunion. After 4 days, I submitted a missing mail search request. I received no acknowledgement so today, July 22, 2026, I went to this location that handles the mail deliveries for my apartment complex, and I was told that since it's just an 'ordinary' letter that could not be traced. Shortly after arrived home, I received a call from a cousin that had sent the letter who told me that the letter had been returned. I looked at the image of the letter on the Informed Delivery email and my address was correct. Front desk clerks were lazy and passive aggressive. For context: The other day, went to their self kiosk to ship out 2 packages and the QR code scanner (what I usually use) wasn't working so I decided to manually input the tracking number to see if that would work. I tried to do it twice and both times I never got my label printed; only the receipt. So today, I went to my local post office and they were more helpful and tried to do many different ways to get my label printed. But they said unfortunately they couldn't do it since it wasn't the original location I tried to print at. So that's when I came back to this location to see if they'd be any help. Of course they weren't though, not surprised since their rating is so low. I explained my situation to one of the ladies and she was quick to give attitude and be snappy about things. She asked again where I did it, I told her this location and I just came from a different one, then she cuts me off saying "Yeah I know, I can read that". I then explain that on the first day I was there, her supervisor tried to help but told me to go to FedEx instead. She was once again quick to snap back and give a backhand comment like "Okay well we can't help with that so you'll need to call the app you used and get it fixed." Mind you, the other desk clerk was finishing writing on a boxed package that someone just dropped off, and one she was done, she threw the boxed package into a container. And they wanna take no blame when things get damaged because they're so careless. Anyways, the lady who I was talking to then leaves to ask someone in the back about the situation. Me and another customer waited 7 minutes with no desk clerk at the front and eventually the lady comes back saying the same thing; "We can't help you, that's on you." So I say thanks anyway and go to my car. I then come back with my family member and we try to ask again and see what our options are. This time I was talking with the other lady (the one who likes to throw packages) and she was a bit more professional but still being passive aggressive in saying that it was basically my fault. I told her the QR code option was broken and she said "Well you shouldn't have done that because now you broke it." I reply saying I wasn't aware I was at fault and I was just trying to problem solve a very frustrating problem. The other location I went to was so much more helpful and 3 different people tried helping me. This location didn't even touch a computer to look things up. They sure were quick to put blame on me and just give up. These ladies seriously need a consequence for the way the acted, and according to other reviews, I'm not the only one that's dealt with their bad attitude and lack of care. read more

First time coming here today to pick up mail keys and after standing in line for about 20 minutes, the guy at the front asked what people in line were waiting for. When I answered, he said, "oh you go over there". So I went to another line, where I was even farther behind. Another 20+ minutes pass before I'm even helped. I understand being short staffed, but that isn't the issue here. There's plenty of people working, they just choose to sit in the back and do absolutely nothing. The poor woman handling passports kept calling for help and ringing the bell to no avail. She even apologized to the people in line after having to ring it about 5-6 times and said "this is the only way someone will come and help." In January had some family heirlooms mailed from TN to this location. Box showed up ripped apart and contents gone. Filed a claim, visited with a manager. Sent pictures of tracking record (showing no damage) . 1 email end of January stating haven't found it. Asked for info to file with USPIS , sent multiple emails, went into location asked to speak with site manager. Lady walked back and then came back stating the manager I dealt with was out on routes. If I could leave zero starts I would. I had a 9am passport appointment scheduled not only their passport photos were not working and they sent me with 2 toddlers to fedex to get pictures taken. When I came back they said the passport person is not there yet. At 9:40am I asked to check where the person is they said they don't know when they are supposed to be there I said they are supposed to be there at 9am because that's when my appointment is. She said I am more than welcome to reschedule or go to a different location. Lady was super passive aggressive and rude and making me feel like it was our fault. At 10 am my husband went to the front desk again to ask and another lady said that passport person is not coming in today and they knew this the whole time and were afraid to tell us. I haven't been receiving my packages correctly for 4+ months now, since moving to this new zip code. The post office doesn't respond to calls/emails, the supervisor won't come out to talk to you/doesn't respond when the front workers take your contact information for the supervisor to call, and they "resolve" online package claims without doing anything. They have even responded to a package claim that the mail person said I told them not to deliver any packages without my exact name (this one the vet had put my dog's name and my last name), which was a lie. This lie doesn't even make sense because most of the mail they but in my mailbox has other people's first and last name, but they won't deliver packages with my actual last name. Now the mail person has put a "vacant, don't deliver mail" slip in my mail box Pretty frustrating place and seems like even if the people at the front counter want to help they can't. read more

Wow, it's unfortunate how little these employees and mail workers care about what they do. I had received a package on 1/3, which they did not deliver due to them stating that "their was no place to leave it", and so the carrier left me a redelivery slip (which they didn't even fill the information out), so I filled the slip out and left it in my mailbox for redelivery, and when I checked my mail the slip was still in the box with NO package. So then I went online and scheduled a redelivery for the following day (at this point it is 1/09). Not only did the carrier NOT bother to redeliver my package, but nothing was updated in the system to give me any further information for tracking either. So finally I come to the realization that I am going to have to do their job for them and go to the post office myself to pick up my package. (So much for convenience)......get to the post office and the man who helped me get my package was rude and full of attitude when I explained to him how the carrier and the facility failed to redeliver or update my package, and had I not come in it would've been returned to sender. I picked it up on 1/15, and it would've been sent back on 1/18. I don't understand what the point of a redelivery option is if you're not going to do what your job duties entail and actually follow-up with that. After waiting in line for around 30 minutes a staff member presented to work the Queue, two individuals in front of myself has issues it seemed with pick up of packages. I was alerted to pick up my package via tracking information at this post office location. My package was not available for retrieval and was instructed to come back the next day. My package is late and will now be later. There was no acknowledgement of the failure of USPS to provide a service they sold. The USPS staff person was unable to communicate in a professional manner. The service I received was dismissive. I understand that COVID is a concern and it is with sadness that I feel that the usefulness of this service is worth nothing to the cost. Poor customer service. Poor / wrong communication. Failure to take ownership of failures. Failure to engage with customers on problems. I recommend using any other shipping service and if this is your only option, best take it yourself. RIP USPS read more

This location is hit or miss on what packages get delivered. I continue to have issues during the holiday season. They delivered a package correctly last week. This week they had a status of another package delivered (which it wasn't.) The following morning they marked the same package as return to sender because "moved and left no address" (which is not true). Then later the same day, they delivered regular mail correctly. Called customer service and agent didn't understand why it wasn't delivered. I went to the post office in hopes that they would still have the package. I was told it was already gone because they process returns at midnight. Representative also could not explain why original status would be put in as delivered when it actually wasn't. Now I have to deal with the hassle again of contacting merchant, waiting for them to receive package back before I can obtain a refund and reorder again. Last incident, the merchant never received the returned package from USPS and it took me over a month and a half of back and forth calls to get refunded. read more

They leave mailboxes open, deliver the wrong mail constantly, lose my packages, and they lost my mail key for two months. This review is not for the USPS in general (although the entire experience has been dismal) but specifically for this location. Clearly, there are major problems at this location judging by the other reviews, as well. If I could give this place a ZERO. I would. I've called the United postal service not the local number (it's not available) to get any information I could on my order. She gave me the local number and I've called to locate my package and no one answered, I went October 21 to ask if they received the corporate invoice to HOLD my package until pickup. When I went Monday morning to pickup my package, Saturday at 5am, they returned to sender. No one read the message from the corporate office to hold my package. The guy working at the front was extremely demeaning to me today. I went by to send a letter certified like I do on a weekly basis at the location on 6th street. I had to come here today and will not be returning. He thought it was laughable/ shocking that I'd never had to fill out the certified label at the other location. After I had paid for everything I heard him telling not only another coworker but another customer that it was crazy that I was shocked that I had to fill out the paper. I would like to point out I did fill it out myself I just was unsure what to write on there and asked for assistance as I had never done so before. I wish I could give 0 stars. They delivered my package to the wrong mailbox. I submit a search and they tell me it was delivered to the correct place. Well if I had my package why would I be wasting my time with them trying to find it. So basically, it's fine for them to deliver wrong and then not correct the problem. I've had this happen multiple times as well as me receiving packages that belong to other people. There is no accountability at all when they deliver incorrectly. I've seen a lot of negative feedback on yelp regarding my neighborhood mailman he is an African-American mailman and he is just the kindest most dedicated mailman and I lost the $200 Italian silver necklace in the mail somewhere while he was on vacation and he somehow found it and gave it back to me. I am not a wealthy woman it was for a religious item and I was so grateful I have a very severe neurological condition that prevents you from being able to work and I was on Ssi and I really just wanted to be able to wear my religious pandit of protection without breaking the chain He has continued to offer to hand deliver my packages to my door and has great ethics & is a wonderful person I wish I could remember his name because he has done so much for me and always make sure I get everything in the mail delivered to me I have difficulty remembering information because of my neurological condition and brain damage and health but everybody needs to realize he works outside for most of the time let the whole mask thing go. They are rude and disrespectful and are just horrible miserable people I tried calling many times before I had to go up to the post office but of course like other reviews they never answer the damn phone and so I drove all the way out there, they weren't even busy. A tall guy asked if anyone in the line was here for missed package me and another gentleman raised our hands and said we were, he helped the gentleman and then proceeded to walk off so I kindly reminded him that I was here for a missed package as well even though my missed package shouldn't have been missed at all. I got a notification saying that the driver cannot access my apartment yet he was still able to deliver my mail to my mailboxes that were inside my apartment? but he wasn't able to deliver my package to my front door when I live right next to the mailboxes? It doesn't make any sense to me. The guy then told me that he could not help me because he was going on lunch and I told him you just helped the other guy and the lady behind the counter proceeded to laugh at me while the gentleman walked away not saying anything to eat his lunch. After finally getting up to the counter, I had a lady that helped me. She was very unfriendly kept rolling her eyes, never smiled once, never said she was sorry for the inconvenience for having to come all the way up there. All she said was that my package will be delivered tomorrow, that wasn't good enough for me. I wanted my package today because there was absolutely no reason for it to have not been delivered today. She then went to the back for quite some time, after she came back out she then told me that the driver will come back out and deliver my package today. I was happy with that answer so I gave her my number as well so that way the driver could contact me if needed and she said that he would and it would be delivered within the next hour. So I went home and waited and after about an hour I watched the mail truck come by my apartment gate, they didn't turn in to my apartments they literally just drove by stop for about two seconds and then drove off so I hopped in my car and I followed them all the way back to the post office because I got another text notification right after they drove off saying they could not access my apartment even though he never even tried, he never contacted me, nothing, I get to the post office AGAIN it's a different lady behind the counter same guy that went on lunch, but he didn't help me he wouldn't even look my way. The new lady I got was even worse than the first one. She must of hated her life, she should honesty quit or be fired because it's obvious she's not happy there and she treats people like shit. Her answer to me on when I asked, why wasn't it delivered for the second time or why did the driver not even try to contact me or turn into my apartments, her answer was he (the driver) has a lot of packages to deliver. That was the pathetic answer she gave me. I told her I watched them not even try to turn into my apartment and she just shrugged and said she didn't know. I was able to finally get my package but I had to go up to the post office twice and be treated terribly. This post office honestly needs to be either shut down or they need to fire every single employee that they have inside and the drivers and hire everyone new because they these people are the WORST and they all suck, they are horrible people they do not care about anyone and it is honestly disgusting that there is a business let alone post office with this appalling attitude and behavior.
