DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME / ARE IN A PINCH. You will wait 20 minutes MINIMUM. There is only one person taking packages at a time and they will cancel passport meetings without telling the person coming. This place is so disorganized it's frightening read more

Came to pickup an international package that requires a signature. The person was just plain rude and refused to allow me to speak. Classic example of a contract federal employee. Person should be fired! read more

Worst post office I've ever been to. They are so incompetent and grossly unorganized. Do not go here for passport needs, they will immensely waste your time. Took me over 2 hours to get a passport with an appointment, even when I had everything in order on my end. read more

Can I give it zero stars? I have never had a worse experience with a post office. The office itself is understaffed and overheated. The clerks for the most part are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this is also the office they deliver my mail from. They refuse to redeliver items that require signatures. The effed around so much with a certified letter FROM MY BANK that they ended up returning it to sender. Now they are sitting on a package they attempted to deliver on 12/31 and despite requesting redelivery 3 times I still dont have it. read more

I spent the morning on my wedding day waiting in this line-- the hours of operation do not apply.

I stopped by this USPS to mail some postcards. It was pretty empty around 10:30 AM on a Friday morning, and there was plenty of free parking available right in front, which was super convenient. Even though it wasn't busy, it still took about 5 minutes for it to be my turn. When I got to the counter, I was surprised to learn that they had run out of postcard stamps (didn't know that was a thing!), so I had to pay a bit more than I had expected. That said, the person who helped me was nice and straightforward, which made the experience smooth despite the minor hiccup. If you're mailing postcards, maybe call ahead to check on the stamp situation, but overall, this post office was a decent experience. read more

If our mail delivery were managed by carrier pigeons it would be cheaper, faster, and have better customer service.

Came to this location to get new keys for our HOA USPS mailbox. This is a busy post office. One gal was at the counter and was helpful and friendly. Another gal came to start helping us in line. She was also helpful and friendly. I wasn't sure what to expect with online reviews but I always come prepared to kill folks with kindness and patience. Well, the staff was kind and patient with us. I appreciate that. read more

Post office opened at 8:30. 9:30 and the shutters were still closed and nobody was here. There is a crowd of very upset people. Waited an hour. Absolutely inexcusable. read more

There is always a backed up line here, expect to wait at least 30 minutes. No signs or communication identifying which line you're supposed to be in so don't be surprised if you have to wait in line twice! read more

If I could give zero I would the lady at the counter was so rude not only to me but the guy next to me because apparently we where holding up the line when we where just trying to tape up our packages that would only take a second while she was gone for a very long before attending me and the people behind me DO NOT COME HERE if your not looking to get screamed at read more

Counter service understaffed and inefficient. Staff appears less qualified. Avoid this post office if time is a consideration.

Disorganized. coming in they had a big crowd with 2 lines with no indication of what each line was for. Me and 5 other people were in the wrong line and weren't told until I got to the front saying the line was for outgoing mail only when I was there for pickup. Some simple signage would fix all of this. read more

Super disorganized post office. Slowest reps ever and a stack of boxes dropped off that the staff can't keep up with. And it's not even that busy. Been in like 20 minutes now and only 2 people have been called up to the desk. The only reason I'm even here is because this post office fucked up and held my mail rather than deliver it as instructed after being on vacation. read more

It is the worst post office I have ever seen. Employees that act like there is not any rush and horribly disorganized.

Drop off your packages here if you wanted them handled like they were trash. Literally saw the clerk throwing and I mean throwing the boxes as hard as possible in the drop off area. I literally watched her do this to multiple packages. This place needs serious help, this isn't the first time the service was horrible coming here. read more

Employee with purple hair & glasses was very irritated I asked for a strip of tape to seal paper envelope I was paying to ship out... literally maybe 6 inches or less. She told me I could buy my own & she wasn't not going to "buy more tape." I guess USPS makes employees buy their own tape for work? I'm not sure. I've never had this experience at a USPS or any shipping business. I honestly think she was irritated it was 5pm & there was still a long line. I get it, but I waited patiently like everyone else in a long line & I would also like to be on my way home after a long day at work too. One package, 1 QR code to scan, 2 minutes was all it took. Not sure why she had so much attitude... I even tried to say "oh I didn't realize you guys had to buy your own tape" sort of confused... I mean why would I? It's a shipping place I'm paying services for & like I said, I've never experienced an employee get wound up over tape, 6 inches of tape. I hope she had a better day & USPS considers providing tape for their employees. read more

Slowest Post Office I've ever been to. On top of that they don't have any visible signage to tell you which line to stand in. Stood in the wrong line for over half an hour because they couldn't print out a simple piece of paper saying "package pickup only" and tape it over the counter. read more

Why does the mailman keep putting my mail on someone's car parked on the street and not my mailbox???? This is the second time two weeks in a row I caught this. Last Wednesday I found it Thursday am and this week I just saw it. Also they gave my mail to someone walking into my home....not a resident in the home but a person parking on the street and walking towards my home :/ I'm confused. All I need is my mail to be delivered to my mailbox and I will check the mail myself. Also would love to be able to speak to someone on the phone but no one answered. read more

So I've been going here for a few months to get my mail since the neighborhood mailbox clusters are getting replaced and updated. They have always been pretty efficient and polite. They always have all of the mail held and I haven't missed anything. Make sure if you're picking up to stand in the line at the right, its a separate one and you can skip the main line. You go to the door with a cut out for any mail related issues. read more

Dont get a po box at this location. They delay your mail and dont put packages in lockers like the other post offices. They are rude and have recently reduced hours to only regular business hours so if you cant get there before 5pm on a weekday you cant get packages. The employees are rude and have nasty attitudes. They almost made me miss a package or lose it entirely because they are disorganized and lazy. The photos show what they do when you get a package. The other day it showed i had 2 delivered one day and one another day and the lady tried to tell me there were only 2 and it was a mistake. If i hadnt known there were 3 packages for me i probably would have never gotten my third package due to incompetence. read more

This location is the worst so lazy and unorganized. For starters they open so late at 8:30 am for a postal service is sad, I have two packages 5mins away from my house at this location being delivered together but they're up in limbo all over the place for the past two business days, like are these guys not working??. the austin post office at 8225 cross park drive does not care about your mail. it usually takes them 3 to 4 days, from monday through saturday (minus federal holidays) to deliver your item(s), unless you live near them in austin. i would have given them a negative 5 stars if i could. i have tried the bbb, better business bureau, but i don't know if that will work or not. the slow delivery is killing my business and i have lost 6 customers because they are slow, slow, slow. i am going to switch to other delivery companies. my business can't take much more of this lateness. i live 65 miles from them and they send my mail to my post office that is 70 miles away in kempner, texas 76539, "daily", monday through saturday (except federal holidays) and once again it takes my package(s) 3 to 4 days once they "receive it" to make it to the kempner, texas 76539 post office. just read the reviews about this place. i guess when i lose my business i'll probably be living under the bridge where i will either expire from a heat stroke or freeze until i expire. there is more to come about the post offices in austin and other places in the united states. i definately am not done yet. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. The. Worst. I hate that this is my designated post office where my mail has to come through in order to get to me. I was told my mail was here and I had to pick it up within 3 days. Then when I come in to get it they can't find it and they tell me they "think" it's out on the truck being delivered today. You don't know? Almost everyone I had to interact with has been so rude. They cut me off when I'm speaking and literally talked bad about me to their coworkers while they are out front and I'm standing right there and I can hear them. I even overheard the manager telling another woman "too bad" at one point. It just sucks that there is no accountability for those kinds of actions and the way they speak to people. The only nice and helpful person was Molly, so thanks Molly! read more

This place is just sad. My husband and I just moved to the Austin area less than a month ago. The address that we are having all our mail sent to is my husband's place of business. I had ordered for a package be sent to that address twice in the past month, and each time the carrier has not delivered it. (which is ridiculous because my husband receives packages there all the time at that same address). Yesterday evening they attempted to deliver our package, but they were unable to and now they are sending it back to the sender. If for some reason the package didn't fit in the mailbox, the carrier should've tried to hand it over to the front desk person (who is a mere few steps away). But nope. No efforts there, I mean it's not like it's his job to actually deliver packages, right? I woke up today and the first thing I did was try to call their 512-419-7504 number in an attempt intervene before the package was on its way back to the sender. I must've tried on and off for over 1 HOUR! NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE THERE! Ever! I mean, why even have a phone number??? So I picked up my purse and drove as fast as I could to get there. Upon my arrival, I quickly learned that their customer service is non-existent to say the least. They "tried" to look for my package, but to no avail. They said that they would let the carrier know and took down my number and would call me if there were any updates. Pathetic. After reading the reviews, I feel very sad and empathize for the people whose addresses fall under this post office's delivery area. These people do not care for your packages or mail. Period. It is already stressful moving across the country to a new state, but not having a reliable way to get your mail is just beyond frustrating. read more

First time at this post office. I went in today for my passport appointment and Molly was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process! It was really great to have someone as attentive as her. My other replacement never came in the mail and I had to pay for the whole thing again. Then I went to 3 different Walgreens to have my photo taken and turns out none of them had a camera...‍ So with that being said...a huge thank you to Molly for making this a smooth and quick transaction. read more
