I have been using this location for a little over a year. With the passing of a family member I am in need of a notary weekly. They seem to always have one available. The price is fair at 10$ and they always are knowledgeable and helpful. The store is clean and there is good parking for everyone. Overall I like this compared to post office. read more

I paid for an envelope to be sent to New Jersey. A week later it shows up in my mailbox with a sticker from USPS saying that it had "issues with the postage or format applied to the shipping label". NOT a wrong address. I took the envelope back to the shop, and inquired what happened, expecting them to fix this clear error on their part. No-one at the store had any ability to address this. The one clerk was trying to text a supervisor, but not getting a response. She offered to let me pay for them to try again. (as if) She took my contact info and promised to call me. 24 hours later (Tuesday afternoon) , still no call. I stopped by the store to enquire further, but no-one there could even contact the supervisor or manager. So much for fast delivery. I need to send this before I get a court clerk chewing me out or worse. I paid for fast and tracked, and am getting no response at all. I will have to go elsewhere. Chances are very good the letter will arrive before I ever get any sort of useful response. Never again. read more

Update 5/20: issues cleared gave back two stars. Store processes related to PS 1583 form need to be updated. Notification of PS 1583 form rejection with reason why would be helpful. I have completed PS 1583 form 3 times unsuccessfully resulting in removal from system causing lack of notifications of received packages, stolen packages and packages showing delivered by carrier that cannot be found. I have to sign in a paper log to receive my deliveries and may not be able to receive mail in the future. I found a Reddit stating most likely rejection reason is identity documents expired. I am collecting documents with longest expiration dates for resubmission. read more

I will never ever use UPS to ship anything again. After taking off work to wait for a package to be delivered all day, from 1-5, I'm told to wait another day to take off of work all over again. DON'T LET THESE GUYS PACK AND SHIP BREAKABLE ITEMS! THEY DON'T KNOW HOW! I brought in a set of china that my parents received as a wedding gift in 1953 and asked that it be packed and shipped to my home in Idaho. I specifically said to the young man helping me, "The sentimental value of these dishes is priceless." My package arrived and HALF OF THE CHINA IS SHATTERED. The dishes were packed like this: brown paper underneath them, half the china in one stack, half in a second stack, NOTHING in between each dish, NOTHING around each individual dish, ONE piece of bubble wrap around each STACK of 10-12 breakable dishes. These employees have zero common sense, have not been properly trained, are lazy, or just don't give a rat's tail--maybe all of the above. I took the disaster box to my local UPS Store in Idaho, and the manager was sick when she saw how it had been packed. She described how it should have been done. The Burnet crew did nothing right. I called the next day and asked to speak to the Burnet manager and was put on hold for 3 hours and 22 minutes. I went about my day with my phone on speaker in case anyone ever came back--of course no one did. Eventually I decided I'd rather take a call from my granddaughter than keep being stubborn (; This store needs a staff overhaul and better management oversight. read more

It is sad - I use this location as a mail collection point - part of the selling point was 24/7 access- unless you had a package or large item - you could always get access to your box with the doir code. Well the gate that separates the front of the store (where the mail boxes are) with the back of the store (where merchandise and access has been broken for a long time. Finally got fixed and a couple weeks later - broken. Which means box holders can only get mail during normal operating hours - very inconvenient- mgmt does not appear to care about problem read more

Wow, these folks messed up my shipment had new pay to fix it, told me a someone would call back to fix it, never did, and by extension told me to pound sand, to bad so sad. I come in on Oct 21 to ship a package on to New England, and I like to be efficient, I brought in a large text printed piece of paper with my address marked FROM, and the New England address marked TO, so there is zero confusion. The woman behind the counter with brown hair and glasses, Miranda, asks me to check the info, first thing first, she gets the address of the receiver wrong, then we check it again, and she got the name of the receiver wrong too, and then I check it again, and she spelled my name wrong, and after three rounds of corrections, which should not have been necessary since I brought in the large bold type printed page as I always do, we wrapped up (or so I thought. I come back from vacation, and there is my package. SHE HAD SHIPPED IT TO ME AND NOT THE NEW ENGLAND ADDRESS. I was not angry then, but I sure as am now, because I went back in to complain and have them reship it for me, and not only did I have to PAY TO SHIP IT A SECOND TIME but was told to simply call the generic UPS customer service line, like THAT'S GONNA DO ANYTHING. I said I wanted to speak to a manager, and was told there was not one there to speak to. I asked to please call one, and Miranda dialed one, I was not allowed to speak to them, and she told them what I had said, leaving out plenty of details to make herself sound better in the process, and less totally at fault to her manager. She then hung up, and gave me two Names of the managers, Esha & Annie, and an email to send in my complaint in writing, instead of being able to handle it in store. They do this to make sure that you give up, as most people do because it's not worth their time. I didn't. I emailed, and I was told that a manager would call me back later that day. It will be of no surprise to you at this point that no manger called back, or emailed me. These people are thieves, plain and simple, and they stole my money, and more importantly, my time. Not only that, but I was smiling and happy when I went in to get it corrected, and their extremely poor customer service and tedious proccess took my happy attitude, and threw it right out the door. Do not use for mail collection service! 1. They give you a key, but fail to rekey the lock to fit (never fit for 2 weeks) 2. They fail to send you an e-mail that gives you 24 hour access to your box. 3. Mail accumulates in the back room along with previous box owners who they never contacted to give mail to. 4. They have a no refund policy that they expect their employees and managers to honor while the ownership hides in the shadows expecting their employees to swallow the ire and disrepute of their customers. 5. Two more lost packages going to an address I know is valid and receives packages. Major issue with the driver or distribution center or both. As of today, another package that replaces the first lost one goes missing but says it's delivered. Store is too busy to help. Cannot get to a live person. Horrendous service with horrible customer support. I dropped my package in a UPS dropbox in Austin, the package had very valuable, time-sensitive lab-test materials that took 2 days to prepare. I kept tracking it everyday, no updates on the system. I called UPS and after staying on hold forever, I was told that I should file a claim if the package is still not showing up after 10 days. 10 days later, I called and it was a freaking waste of around 2hrs over the phone. One person connected me to another 4 or 5 times, each separated by a lovely 20-25mins of hold time. At the end, I'm told that I cannot file an investigation or a claim because the "return label was created over 60 days ago" and they cannot confirm that I dropped the package. Total bull and circular arguments, of course they can't confirm that I dropped it.. that's why it's lost. And why does it matter when the return label was created. Not only can't they secure their drop boxes, they also can't provide basic customer support for lost packages. DO NOT EVER use their drop boxes, unless you want to donate your package. And it's not only me, read the google reviews for any UPS dropbox, so many clients lost their packages there. NEVER going to use UPS again after that disappointing experience read more

I had one package and two gift cards that were suspiciously lost at this spot. I use to rent a mailbox there and with the belief my packages were safer being collected by a mail box service opposed to left in front of my house... Well if it was a well managed, legitimate operation then yes maybe safer. Gift cards I learned later are not easy to track if they are lost or stolen like a check or credit card so makes them super easy targets for theft. All of these items according to USPS tracking showed arrival to UPS store on Burnet road however were never scanned in?? I wonder if we as a collective group can have a federal bureau investigate this place? I do want to add that I go out of my way to drive to far west UPS store now and they are top notch, top of the line people. Also I would like to add that all of this happened pre-2016 so there may have been some internal fixes since then. Fingers crossed. Horrible store and horrible customer service. The young man at the counter did not ask the value of my package, just what it was. I found that odd but let him lead how things were done. Well , they lost my package. He knew what he did, as time went on I realized how important his mistake was. Because of this, I was only refunded the $30 for delivery and $100 for the contents ,which were way more valuable. The manager had no idea and no answers to my questions. But several times I have gone by there on my way to work right when they are supposed to open at 8:30, and the guy doesn't show up to open for 5 or 10 minutes and then he has to do all the opening stuff for another 5 minutes, so I'm sitting there for 10 or 15 minutes. I couldn't get the package, the tape, the scissors, and my printed prepaid return label (or a working printer) together in one place. I COULDN'T DO IT. For a month, some of these items would come together, then separate, never enough to actually GET RID OF my stupid Amazon return package. It was horrible, I felt like less of a man. I managed to get the package and the return labels into my car, and took them here. Yes, it amounted to paying someone who had scissors and tape to use them for me.. to cut the postage I'd already paid for out of a printout, tape it to a box, tape shut the box, and place the box on a pile. Tape, scissors, that's what I paid for -- straight-up kindergarten. $1.50 for nine seconds of scissors and tape was fine. I'd have paid $5 just to stop failing at mailing a box. I wish they were open earlier, though. Mailing stuff is before-work business. If I can do things on the way to work, it doesn't escalate to vengeance-is-mine levels like this. read more

terrible service. I went in with three boxes of textbooks to ship. When I saw the order, before I paid, I noticed a 30$ extra charge on the boxes. I asked Leslie, what is this charge? she said, "oh i can't tell you. it's on the computer but i can't see what it is". seriously?! i asked this a few times (i had to ship three of these boxes) and each time i got the same response. Later after i had paid and left (i should have just dragged the three boxes of textbooks back to my car and gone to the post office, or possibly any other UPS location, lesson learned) we called and found out that the $30 fee was an insurance charge and if i had just lowered the value of the box the fee could have been dropped. why she could not tell me that before I paid will remain a mystery. Wanted to send a tablet to Dallas, they decided it should go to AT&T instead and a DVR box go to my recipient in Dallas. It's been over a week with no resolve. I went to the store at a time they were supposed to be open. They weren't. I double checked the business hours listed on the door and yes, I was there during business hours. It was not a holiday. Long story short: I paid this store to pack and ship a 90 lb. fragile piece of equipment. It was packed poorly and damaged as a result. The store offered no help and assumed no responsibility, despite the "Pack and Ship Promise". After the package had been returned to Austin, I was never notified that it had come back. I discovered this fact after looking into it online. When I went to the store to pick up the package, it could not be located by the staff. I finally picked it up today after it had been sitting in the store for 3 months. I am now dealing with a person at the corporate level in order to get any sort of satisfaction.
