Where do I begin? I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt with the poor reviews of this place, because it's so close to my home. However, I was drastically and horribly wrong. I was told I needed a full new set of nails because they were "lifting". Please keep in mind that I have only had acrylics on for 2.5 weeks. I said I only wanted a fill, and was told that a full set was necessary and would only cost $10 more than a fill. Reluctance at best, I sat there painfully trying to let the tech slice off all my nails. When I say slice, I literally mean with a razor blade. It was so aggressive and awful. 5 of my nails were bleeding, and tech just kept going even with my wincing in pain. This is where we get to the good part. She sliced two of my nails so badly, that the skin was showing and nails completely cracked down the middle. It was unbelievably painful. I expressed my concern at blood and pain and the condition of what she had just done to my nails. Nails mind you, that were in great condition prior. She kept grabbing my hand and telling me that I will feel much better once I get a tip on my nail. I told her EIGHT times I didn't feel comfortable putting tips on these damaged nails she created. She literally tried to bully me and kept grabbing my hand, that it's perfectly fine and I will feel better with super glue. SMARTS and my health came into full aggression, and I pulled my hand away and said "NO"! Thisis when the manager came over and agreed that nails shouldn't be put on with what she did, and was so sorry, and that I could come back in a week and get nails. In a week? I wouldn't step FOOT into this place again. It truly is that awful and these reviews ARE REAL! It's such a shame that they actually have a license to do business on all the victims that step foot in this place. My sister and I had the worst experience ever. They were yelling at my sister for wanting designs that she was told weren't extra but then said they were. When I said I wanted to go when my sister paid and left they stopped actually doing my nails and did a horrible job. I wish I could give no stars. For starters, they can always work you in. Sometimes you have to wait but if you can get in early in the day it's never a problem. I don't have to schedule days ahead like with a lot of the little boutique nail salons. I always get the exact manicure I want, with TONS of gel color options and nails that last. I had a guy named David so my nails. He was really good and he seems like to take his work seriously. He took his time and made sure that all my nails matched. The only negative comment I had was it was a bit crowed during the pandemic but they did have people come back another time to limit the amount of people in the building. Also the prices are a bit more due to high demand. Even with the prices being more I would still come in and have David to my nails. read more

I've gotten a full set done by Kevin here and it was FABULOUS. But then I came back...the woman who did my fill was so fast & rough with the drill that it got to hot and I kept pulling my hand back because it felt like it was burning. And then my paint job...she did just fine on the color, but she was too busy trying to get home, she didn't bother to watch what she was doing with the top coat. It doesn't reach my cuticle OR the sides of my nails so I just have this weird shadow going on. Bottom line: Don't bother coming here unless it's for Kevin. He's awesome. read more

Very nice pedicure! Sadly, when I got home my toddler stepped on my foot and smudged/smeared the polish from three of my toes. I went back later in the afternoon and they immediately squeezed me in and repainted the ones that were ruined. I had a design on my big toe and so she had to redo that as well. Came here to get my nails done. Showed the gentleman exactly what I wanted and he promptly told me that he can do it finally gets down to doing that special design on my ring finger he first and tells me that they don't have two of the colors that I wanted. But they could combine colors and get those two colors I told him if they could get it to work then OK. The original gentleman who started my nails got really hesitant and then had to go and get his manager who then came over and did them. He got to the point where I was almost in tears because of how much I hated my nails and I just told him to forget it into a solid plain old color on my ring finger for my wedding anniversary. I got recommended by them by several of my no tech friends and for them to do this shitty of a job. I still walked out of there paying almost 40 for nails absolutely do not like. Great reviews so I tried US Nails in Draper for the first time today. Made an appointment but surprisingly had to sit and wait ten minutes. They then put me in the chair to soak my feet and they apologized that they were busy. I soaked for a HALF HOUR with no one else speaking to me or even looking at me. That's something that I don't understand about businesses that take reservations. They take reservations in order to schedule their work and staff. If you receive walk-ins, you are obligated to tell them that you are booked out and that they can choose to wait to see IF you can fit them in. You do NOT serve them before the schedule appointments! The lady that put me in the water went over and STARTED a pedicure. She then left that client to work on a third client! I realized that she would need to finish that third client, then finish the pedicure BEFORE she would be able to get to me! And I noticed two walk-Ins come in during that time and they told them that there was no problem taking them! Come on! At least be honest and say that you are overbooked!! I travel a lot for work, and I just don't feel fully "put together" unless my nails are in awesome shape, so I've been to nail salons in a whole bunch of cities, and US Nails in Draper, UT is by far my favorite. The staff is incredibly nice and considerate, they give the best massages (leg and foot massages for pedicures, and arm and shoulder massages for manicures), they have a huge range of regular and gel polish options, they do beautiful nail art, and the space is super bright, open, and welcoming. I seriously love this place and make a point to go here for a manicure and pedicure whenever I'm in town (I typically have meetings in downtown Salt Lake City, but I make the drive to Draper strictly because US Nails is just that good). This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon! This is also my very first bad review on Yelp! I typically go to another place in South Jordan but my friend has a reservation here that day and I decided to join her. I just wanted a simple shellac manicure and that is what I got, but not without a few complications. First off the lady who was working on me was just rude and short tempered. When she started fixing my cuticles I was in so much pain!!! She kept pushing them farther back and basically stabbing me in my cuticles even after I audibly gasped in pain. She just would not stop messing with them even after I told her to stop! She kept grabbing my hands anytime I would try to reach into my purse to do something because they "hadn't dried." The problem was I would have my nails under the light for 2 series of 3 minutes and based on my past experiences I know them to be dry! Furthermore, and what made me the most angry, was that the entire thing took almost an hour and a half! Typically it takes the salon at most 45 minutes to do my nails! I was really pressed for time and was not expecting it to take that long at all! And I started to tell her I needed to leave about a half hour before I needed to, thinking that would speed her along, but it didn't! She was so rude and not mindful of my time at all! In the end I basically had to run out of the store! She would not stop messing with my cuticles, even at the very end! Overall the manicure itself is ok, but the pain and service that I received were not worth it. I definitely do not recommend this place and I will not be back! read more

I went in Friday night to get a full set with almond shape and that's exactly what I got! The nail tech also helped me pick a beautiful color and I'm so happy with the result. She was super friendly and even stayed after close to finish my nails and she asked me a few times during the service if the length and shape were okay. My nails always are so thin the Acrylics, they pop off so fast and break so easily, and when I get gel on my normal nails they leave streaks. We have been going for a year now here and I liked it but the prices went up recently and the quaintly went down, and I hate it most when they talk about you and yours nails and you can tell if you are going to talk about me then don't make it obvious. My pedicure looks pretty good, but the staff was incredibly rude. I brought my 5 year old daughter with me. I've done this before at other salons and it was a great experience. Here, the technicians wouldn't let her dip her toes in the water, hold a bottle of nail polish, or even lift up the armrest. She was well behaved but they were irritated she was there even though she sat quietly. Every little thing she did, they had a problem with it. Finally I blurted "Wow, you guys really don't like having kids here, do you?" They were kinder after that and painted her toes but I will not be going back- even if I leave my daughter at home. do NOT come here. this salon used to be the best, now they've hired a few new people and i doubt they got their credentials. they are practicing on live people. this was by far the worst experience i've ever had. they attempted to clip my cuticles and ended up cutting my nails back into the corners, where ingrown toenails start. i will NOT be surprised if i have ingrown toenails after the technique this awful tech used. they scrubbed/exfoliated the bottom of my feet, and got zero skin off. like, they scrubbed it with ZERO force. it's as if the tech was nervous the entire time. oh, and while they were tying to remove my gel from before, they filed my nails so slowly that the person i went with was completely done by the time my nail tech had 3/4 of the polish from TWO TOES somewhat removed. the tech that did my friends toes ended up leaning over from her spot (while seated in front of my friend) to quickly try and remove the polish from mine and somehow still left a bit of polish on my toenails. i am being NICE in writing this review. what i should have done is tell you how painful and unprofessional this experience was. i am livid and i will be telling everyone i know not to come here for at least a year, or until they train their staff right. read more

I always come to US nails. It's by far my most favorite place and I would give 100 stars if i could. The only reason i have 4 is because of Mike. Whenever he does my nails he's always very quick with painting my nails and seems very rushed. I always leave his table with red cuticles and sometimes bleeding. I got my nails done here and got an acrylic set. They did not glue on the tip right so my acrylic nails are popping up and off. They are not attached to my nails at all, and I was in there for a total of two hours which I usually get my nails done within 45mins-1 hour. For being charged $55 dollars for this full set it was not worth it, I could've bought a kit at Sally's and had the same quality. I haven't even had my nails for a week. read more
