I called to ask if I needed an appointment for a mani-pedi. I was told I could just come in. I showed up, and the nail tech started working on my feet. They looked great, but when she was done, she said the the shop was too busy to do the manicure. There were four customers, I was one of them, and there five nail techs. My gal said she has other customers (that had appointments) that she needed to take care of first and couldn't help me. This was AFTER I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment....UGH !!!! I'm writing this review as two of the nail techs were just walking around, and my toes were drying... Well, needless to say Bella Nails won't be seeing me again....I should have read the reviews before spending a dime in this place. All the workers were so rushed !!!!! It was a waste of my time. I wanted to wait & write this review to let the anger & upset emotions level out. On June 16th, I called around 10am to see if they had time for a walk in manicure/pedicure. I was told yes so I went in. I got there & was told to pick a color & sit at a pedicure chair within a couple minutes. Smooth sailing so far. After a minute or two, this lady (in picture) sat down and started doing stuff, something, not sure what to my feet. I've been getting pedicures for 15+ years at both great and crappy salons so I typically know what to expect regardless of the quality of salon. Now I am no nail tech or cosmetologist but I quickly came to the conclusion that what she was doing was not what she was supposed to be doing. She removed most of the old polish but not all. She clipped my toe nails and ran the file over each nail. With absolutely NO pressure. Then put my foot back in the water. No cuticle oil, no cleaning the sides, corners or under the nails, no trimming of the cuticles nothing. Then moved onto the other foot. I then asked "Is cleaning the sides and stuff of the nail not something you do?" She looked up, surprised and said "No, I do again." "I do twice". She then put slightly more effort into the current foot but still didn't do much. She then went back to the first foot and did pretty much the same thing. So I asked her, "Do you not want to do this? Because I can go to another salon." She then said something along the lines of she was doing it. I replied "It just does not seem like you want to do it because you have barely touched my foot." Of course, she starts talking to one of the other tech ladies in the salon. Very obviously talking about me. I don't speak the language they were but body language and gossip sound & look the same in every language. I ignored it, pretty upset at this point. I needed the pedicure done as I was attending a wedding that weekend & that was the only free time I'd had to get anything done that week. She started clipping at the cuticles obviously angry I had said something. Because she went from no pressure to hurting me. She was so rough I had to say "Ow". Once she was done butchering my toes she went to the back room to get the cheese grater which from my understanding are illegal as they are a blood pathogen risk and cannot be fully taken apart and sanitized. I quickly pulled my feet away and said I do not want that used on my feet. Which she was also not happy about. She came back with a used pumice stone and ran it across my heels a couple times. During this, a different person(tech) came and sat down to do the pedicure for the lady next to me. They started talking about, I assume, what was happening and how my tech was obviously upset. I asked what they were talking about and my tech said "Oh, she was just talking about something else." I was so frustrated and upset at this point. I came in to treat myself for the first time in probably a year to a pedicure and take an hour to try to relax and could not believe I had been treated this way. My tech then asked about the manicure I had wanted so I made the decision to get up and leave at that point. I told her and I assume the owner lady that I had never been treated so poorly before or been made to feel to unwelcome. I asked what I owed for her clipping my toe nails and I would pay for that but was not going to continue with the service. They spoke back and forth for a minute and after I asked again what I owed, I was told she was not going to charge me for clipping my nails. I got in my car and cried. After reading all of the other reviews I was shocked to have had this experience. I will NEVER come here again and will tell anyone who listens about my experience. I don't care if there is a language barrier or cultural barrier. Customer service is customer service. I assume she was not doing what she was supposed to be doing and was angry I called her out on it. Maybe it is time for her to retire because all of the other techs seemed competent. I didn't expect the best pedicure of my life but I expected more than this. read more

I used to go to another salon closer to my house for pedicures but decided to try Bella due to recommendation. I am SO glad I did. Yen did such an amazing pedicure. She took her time, did an extra coat of gel since it was a lighter color and was really nice to chat with. The salon was clean and welcoming. They had water bottles available. I'll be back for sure. Absolutely fantastic time here! They were so kind and detail oriented. My nails are gorgeous. They paid attention to all of the things that normally bother me after a nail appointment- they buzzed the underside of the nails, made sure every length was mirrored on the other hand, and checked in with me repeatedly through the appointment. Everything inside is beautiful and it was a wonderful appointment. They let me sit with my partner before and after the appointment too. Would highly recommend! read more

I called ahead of time and made an appointment for first thing on Friday morning 22 July, 202210:00 am, for a pedicure and a gel manicure. Amy got me at 10:20am. She did my pedicure and came to me and said I can't do your manicure. I said why? Her other customer was waiting. What is wrong with this picture.........? I had an appointment for both a pedi and mani but because I have dark hair and skin and the other customer had blond hair she was going to take her. I have NEVER felt so discriminated against. I pay and tip just like all the other customers. I work in the customer service field and I don't tell one Customer they have to wait because I like the way the other customer looks. We treat ALL customers the same. Since I was inconvenienced and it ruined my WHOLE day I called Lotus Nails to get a gel manicure. For the afternoon. Like I said my whole day has been ruined. For those of you who read this I hope you will reconsider going to Bella Nails due to their Customer Service, and the way they move and treat their customers. I made 3 appointments a week in advance. My daughter needed a full set put back on because removed them during the COVID quarantine, I specifically made the appointment with Tiffany. The other two appointments were for pedicures. We arrived and waiting 10 mins to be called back for our pedicures. Half an hour later I asked if there was a problem with the nail appointment because she still haven't been called back. She responded to me but didn't say anything to anyone else, just kept working on my pedicure. When someone finally came out (It was NOT Tiffany) they offered no apology to my daughter just said "are you ready?" Poor customer service is really frustrating but convinced me to never go back was that I requested 2 deluxe pedicures. The pedicures started at the same time but they finished my daughter's pedicure 20 mins before mine. After she got up and left I had to ask her to come back to complete 2 of the included services. They consistently treat my kids like second rate customers! Rushing through services, while they pay the exact same price. read more

I love getting pedicures. I generally go to another salon and decided to try this one. Wow!!!! The lady who did mine was so mean. She was rude. She spent maybe 20 min. On a pedicure. My friend it was worse. The lady who did hers didn't even do the hot stones and then painted her nails and didn't give her a top coat. Paint left between her toes and sloppy. Her pedicure was 10 min. Long. When you pay $35 for a pedicure and get treated like this it is not a place to go. I will never return. I never have complained on Yelp or any other page before. I've been coming to this salon for 10+ years now and have almost always had a great experience. I generally get a gel manicure every 2-3 weeks, and a new pedicure once a month. The staff is so friendly, considerate, and take their time with you. I have gone to Bella Nails for years and have no complaints. The salon was remodeled last year and it looks great. I usually get dip nails or gel nails and a regular pedicure and they always do a nice job. Lots of polish colors to choose from. There are some nail techs that are better than others just like any salon. The owner, Tiffany as well as Mimi and Kim are all amazing. I like how they remember their regular customers and ask about certain things going on in their lives and the customers ask about theirs. I've always liked anything done by the guys. But...my teen was going on a job interview and we had just had a full set of acrylics put on in another city. She needed a color change and the nails shortened for the interview. Two people worked on her nails. I think it was due to time. But the first lady kept sounding like she was griping. And they were talking in their own language, something that is frustrating when you are being worked on and they keep up a conversation. I went here twice trying to give it another chance. The nail technicians didn't not listen to wait I wanted. I wanted to remove my acrylics and just get plain white gel nail polish which would just be $28. She tried to tell me that she was just going to file it down and paint over my nail/leftover acrylic nail that she didn't remove to help the nail. While she continued to do my nail I made it clear that I was only going to pay the $28 that is why I wanted the acrylic removed. She was also very occupied with her phone most of the time which was very unprofessional and not good with customer and employee communication. Not only did she get nail polish all over my fingers, she did not evenly cut down my nail, and she did not even shape them all the same shape. She then at the end of my visit charge me $40 which is what they'd charge for a fill instead of the $28 I intentionally was gonna pay. I told her that I didn't feel that I should pay $40 because she did NOT give me a regular fill and she went AGAINST what I had ask WITHOUT understanding or ACKNOWLEDGE what I wanted done. She continued to explain that keeping a little bit of the acrylic on would help my nail and that because she didn't remove it I still needed to pay $40. I felt like I was wronged and that the costumer service was not very good at all. I would not recommend this nail salon AT ALL. read more

The last time I came here was over a year ago and I left a review because I was so upset with my nails. My friend talked me into coming back because she said it's gotten better and she hasn't had any problems. We got mani pedis for my wedding. The lady doing mine and another friends feet were so rude kept glaring. When I sat down to get my acrylics she went right in with the drill and drilled down until it kind of hurt so I asked her to please use less pressure. She did then she started filing the sides down and cut my fingers multiple times. I will NEVER go back. If you are looking to get your nails done I suggest the ladies that are certified and do it out of their homes. They are so much nicer and very gentle and make sure it's exactly how you want them and will never make you feel rushed. We went in as a group to get pedicures. One of the nail techs rushed through it as fast as she could. She sprinkled the flower petals in the water & immediately started draining the water. No foot soak. It was like she was just trying to get done as fast as she could, then she sat on an empty pedicure chair while the other nail techs did their pedicures. It ruined what was supposed to be a fun group experience. She didn't even have another client or anything, she literally just plopped herself down on a chair & sat there. None of the others working there even seemed phased by it. Then she was our cashier & kept pushing for more tip money. We left tips for the other ones, but not her, although I'm betting she took part of theirs. I have been a repetitive client here & will not return. When we go for girls day pedicures again, we will be going somewhere else. read more

Was really disappointed. I usually never get my nails done just because it's so expensive. My husband surprised me with a gift card here and I was super excited to go get my nails done finally. I tried to make an appointment 3 separate times and each time they told me to come later. I called and finally got an appointment. I picked out a picture of how I wanted them. The worker just started doing my nails without asking what I even wanted. I stopped her and asked her if she could do it like the picture and the worker just looked at it and said we can't do that (it was super simple too, just two different colors, not any fancy designs) so she gave me the nail polish colors and I picked on and she said we don't have it and just handed me the colors again. I finally found one they had and it seemed like they just rushed me through as fast as possible. The worker didn't say another word to me other than wash your hands and put your hand under the light and your done. Really bad customer service. Didn't feel important just felt like they wanted to get me in and out as fast as possible. Would've walked out if I didn't have a gift card. :/ read more

I've been going to Bella Nails in Stansbury for about 10 years now Very Friendly nail techs. Services I typically get are Gel Nails, Acrylic Nails, Facial hair removal, and pedicures for myself and sometimes my son and husband tag along for one also! Most of the techs do a wonderful job, however I choose a favorite and stick with them until they leave. With that said in the 10 years I have had just 2 nail techs both I truly adore and they have became more like family! Mimi is my favorite! I love how she has always done my nails! In the 10 years I have only have 1 lift! They always get me right in on any repairs or appointments. I decided to leave my comment after reading a few others not so great experiences. My take on it is there are times they are busy and may rush, it happens. If you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere I suggest setting your appointment during there slow time. Also give them the chance to get it right! Speak up and don't be afraid to let them know if you aren't happy with the out come. They will fix whatever you want at no charge and want you to be happy with your visit. I am very picky about my nails and it took a couple of times to give them the feedback needed to do them the way I like. read more

I went to Bella salon today. I had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure at 4. When I walked in the woman working closest to the door looked at me like I was an intruder and said nothing. I said I had an appointment at 4. She looked at her appointment book like I was making this up until she found my name then she said sit down. 30 minutes later someone came and got myself and another woman who had walked in after me and put us both in a foot bath 15 minutes later someone came over and started working with the other customer.
