Love the service that this nail salon provides. They have tons of cute color selection here. From regular nail polish to gel polish, dip powder and acrylic you name it and they have it all. The store and the vibe inside feel so nice and clean all the time. Long story short I came to this nail salon for the first time in the bad situation because I broke 2 of my dipping nails which I did from different nail salon. Lynna was the one who helped me fix the broken nails and introduced me to the overlay option, I got hooked right after that. I have been going to this salon for 4 years now, Loc & Tran are the best, they have crated a beautiful super clean salon, everything used with one client is then cleaned or thrown out before they use it with someone else including the chair you sit in. This place is super clean and luxe! They have Louboutin and Chanel nail polishes for use (only regular not gel). I like how they use nail books to pick the color instead of pick a nail polish yourself deal. That helped efficiently start the pedi process quicker. Sometimes picking a color can take a minute (I know I'm not the only one! Lol). A+ for the pedicure station, however I was somewhat disappointed in the pedi selection package because it did not include hot wax or hot stones. It's more of an add on service. Depends on the nail salon but majority I have been have those services included in the pricing. Also, I wish there was more massage time. It felt really quick instead of true quality service for a higher end nail salon. The owner is so sweet. Met her briefly because our tech had to run out, but she made sure our nails were dried and simply took care of us for the remaining time. Oh, and she was the one that gave us water. It's always disappointing when your go-to spot for 3 years let's you down so hard that you will never go back. I needed acrylics removed and I wanted a manicure with gel application. I specifically come here to get my acrylics removed because they used to soak my nails with acetone and gently file everything off, but this woman ripped off my acrylics doing the 'slide a nail under your nail' thing that most salons do. This place is so overpriced but I came specifically because they did NOT do that, but she did it this time. The manicure was a joke and was a total of 8 minutes of soaking my hand in a bowl of water while she clipped my cuticles and bam, manicure! 50 bucks right there. Then she sloppily painted my fingers with gel with bits of acrylic still on my nail! I told her there's still acrylic there and she said 'no I can see it, there's no acrylic' so I left it at that. this place charged me 50 bucks for 13 minutes of work. I watched the clock. Too bad that this was my nail place, but that's on me for expecting quality from a business in Salt Lake City. read more

This is a difficult update to write. I was initially impressed with my acrylic nails' service and outcome. The salon owner did fantastic and intricate design work on the nail set. When it came to getting the nails removed (about one month later), that's when the unpleasant service occurred. I requested that my acrylic nails be removed and selected a gel nail service instead. Instead of the owner helping me remove the nails, another nail technician was assigned to me at the time. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of this person. This nail tech was very rushed at removing the individual acrylic nail pieces and painfully ripped them off using another acrylic nail tool. Even though I'm not a frequent customer of nail salons, I knew this didn't seem right. There definitely needs to be another way to safely remove acrylics without ripping them off insensitively. The nail tech also cut deep into my cuticles and rushed the entire process. The rushed process caused breakage in the skin and resulted in cuts and some bleeding. This service was an unfortunate and painful experience. I hope the owners can provide proper guidance and training to their nail techs for future customers. I understand that quick services are great, but rushed and careless experiences lead to accidents. I'm honestly not sure if I'll return at this point. read more

I friggin love this place! I finally found a nail tech who knows what he's doing! My secret is Loc. He is so professional, friendly, and great at his job! He serves you water while you wait and makes sure you're comfortable. It took 1.5 hours for a fill and pedicure. Other places take a lot longer and does a sloppy job. What I love best about Loc is his attention to the clean lines around the cuticles and that my nails do not lift even after 3 weeks! I was going to push it to 4 weeks, but I couldn't stand to see my nails look like they did so I came in. I always make an appointment just to make sure I can be seen with him. I'm sure the other ladies are great, but I love Loc's craftsmanship so I will continue to come to him. read more

Looking for a new nail salon and wanting a pedicure for my birthday. So based on reviews and location my husband and I decided to try AA Nails. We walked in and were promptly greeted and sat at a foot tub soon after. We didn't have an appointment but it was the middle of the work day...we were the only patrons there. They are very organized and offer you a nail polish color book rather than sending you to a wall of colors as other salons do. The pedicures were very relaxing and we were pampered. They utilize a new pedicure tub where they use a liner and straw system so that each patron is assured sanitary conditions and you don't share the germs thru the tub and jets. The salon is fairly new and decorated nicely as well as very clean. The prices are reasonable and because of this and the great service I'll definitely be back. read more

Had the absolute worst interaction with the manager at this establishment. I explained to her that the nail technician kept messing up on my nails and I did not blame it on her. It was obvious she was new, I spent over 2 HOURS with her for a simple manicure with no gel. I did not like the outcome. She was new, I understood this, still tipped her. I ran out of time to get my nails fixed for the day. When I called later the manager was talking over me explaining to me what was wrong with my nails when in fact it is their nail polish that is old and needs to be thrown away. This establishment claims high end services and modern technology but in reality, the manager is rude, they over price and their equipment is exactly the same as any other nail salon. Then the third time I made a booking at 5pm, when I got there there was several people that was booked at 5 pm the same time as me, resulting in having to wait for 25 mins to get start with my service (some of the client had to leave as she have been waiting for more than 30 mins). After years of looking for a nail salon that was clean, professional and did a great job I finally found it in AA Nails and Spa! The salon was tastefully decorated and relaxing. The furniture and equipment was in excellent condition which may not seem to be a big deal but many places seat you in chairs or at nail stations that are torn and need replacing. The tools are individually packaged and sterilized and the foot basins use individual, disposable liners and the bubbles are air bubbles and not from water jets so there is absolutely NO customer cross-contamination! My daughter had acrylics put on and the nail technician was engaged and helpful in selecting the style, length and color. They look great! Very pleasantly surprised - hidden in the little strip mall is a very quiet and calm nail salon. Beautiful Decour and peaceful feeling - quite nice because galaxy nails is pretty loud. Update: these nails are two weeks old and look amazing (ignore my cuticles... :-) I've been in SLC for around 7 wks and have had two terrible experiences with two separate nail salons.
