Radiant Nails is a hidden gem and the best salon in The Valley, hands down. It is always extremely clean (even before covid), easy to get appointments, and during the pandemic they are adhering to all guidelines (spacing out appointments and patrons, taking temperatures, sanitizer available, using plexiglass and masks). Great pricing and perfect gel manicures that last a long time. I really like that they have proper ventilation - each nail station has its own vent on the wall and they additionally use a chemical fume extractor with acrylics. They sanitize and scrub each pedi tub after every use. Tammy and Tony (owners) are professional and very skilled and they are so sweet to each other. You can also see Tam's personal works on the walls - she's a trained artist! Love talking to them while getting my mani done. They offer great deals for mini mani/pedis for kids and that's been so fun to bring my daughter to. Also haircuts for men and boys, and waxing services. They are appointment only right now but will take some walk-ins if they have cancellations. The hours are 11-6pm but they will sometimes schedule after hours if needed. Even if you don't feel comfortable coming in-person yet, they mentioned a holiday gift certificate special right now (and I picked up two deluxe pedis for $45 total!) I've been to their salon a few times and each time they remember me, ask about my mom (she was with me at my first visit), and we just have pleasant chats every time. What a great experience! My mom was in town visiting me for my birthday and we decided to have a fun girl date and get pedicures. We decided to get the Deluxe pedicure for $35. Their massage chairs are very comfortable and relaxing. The foot and leg treatments were divine. They used scrubs and hot stones that felt absolutely amazing. The pedicures were clean and neat and looked wonderful. She gave us exactly what we wanted(black nails with little fall leaves). Ummmm let's talk about this lil gem for a second... I moved to SLC from San Diego 5 months ago, and have been on the hunt for a nail salon that is affordable, and can KILL a gel manicure. I'm talking no chipping, no peeling up around the edges, lasts 3 weeks minimum gel manicure. I had gel manicures like this back in SD, but so far no luck in SLC. Until I found THIS place. First, Tammy and Tony run the salon and are SO. FREAKIN. SWEET. FYI - they have two sons named Tyson and Tyler. Adorable! The salon itself is spacious and really clean. Everything looks new. I was a walk-in, and there was only one other patron in the salon but also only Tammy and Tony working. I was concerned about wait time, as said patron was right in the middle of her manicure. But no! Tony got me prepped while Tammy finished up, and then Tammy took over. I watched Tammy do her thing, and she's a pro on all levels: - My cuticles look amazing. - She cut and filed my nails perfectly - just like I asked. - Most importantly, she used the gel prepping products and application technique that will make my gel color last. As a last and unexpected treat, I got a warm paraffin wax treatment to lock in the moisture after my hand massage! The price for this ridiculously satisfying experience? $28. Stop. Just stop. This place is super clean which is the first thing I look at when picking a place to do my nails. Everything is super organized and just clean. -walk-ins: They were super friendly when I walked in a seated me immediately so no appointment is necessary. That being said if you are coming with a group of people I would call in advance. There are only three people that work here and I think it would be difficult to schedule a group without them knowing ahead of time. - service: I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and they were super friendly and not pushy about upgrades. They give you a menu and you just pick what you want and that's that! They don't try to get you to do anything extra which I something I usually encounter. I love coming to see Tammy and Tony! The salon is very clean and neat. They are so fun to talk with and they also have Netflix so you can pick what to watch when you are getting your service. They have a great selection of nail polish and gel polish. The pedicures here are absolutely incredible. The best I have ever had. I upgraded my pedicure and got a scrub, masque, hot stone massage and paraffin wax. It was so relaxing. This past time I came in to get acrylics with Tammy and am blown away by her work. I wanted to take my sister out for a manicure and pedicure for her birthday so I looked up a salon that has great reviews and came across Tony and Tammy's salon. We received Deluxe pedicures which were relaxing and took place in massage chairs while we watched NetFlix. Tammy did my sister's nails first (we were the last appts on a Friday night). When my sisters nails were done, they looked great but it was passed closing. Tammy asked if I would like to do mine that night or would like to schedule for Monday. I thought it was great she was willing to continue to work later to finish mine but I booked an appt for the following Tuesday. My nails turned out great and they looked just like the picture I had brought in with me. I plan on going back and hope I can talk my husband in to getting a pedicure as well. read more

I had a pedicure here with a friend. I called ahead and made an appointment for the same day. They do take walk-ins, but I believe it is only a husband and wife who run the shop, so I imagine it would be difficult (at least on a weekend) to walk in and be seen right away. The shop is not huge, but not small either. They have about 6 seats for pedicures and 6 for manicures. They have a large selection of nail color. The pedicure seats have massage, which I love, so bonus points for that. The husband and wife switched between my friend and I, rather than one of them working on one of us. It was kind of cool and different. We both had deluxe pedicures, and I felt like they included everything you would normally expect, but nothing super exciting. I do like the hot towels, though. I wish the massage had been a little longer. The price is what makes this place a 5 star. The deluxe pedi was $35, and they offer a standard for $25 which is pretty unheard of. They are very sanitary, pleasant, and did a great job! read more

They even ask about my daughter (I brought her in years ago for a mommy/daughter pedicure when she was little). They take their time on a great pedicure and pay attention to details. I have been calling and no one seems answer their phone. Now I just get pushed straight to voicemail. Is this a Nail Salon thing? To avoid answering the phone, avoid customers and avoid making money? I worked in a salon and one of the most important parts of their company ethics was making sure to answer every call no matter what. If your closed for a holiday It would be good customer service to communicate and put it on your voicemail. So your clients/ future clients didn't think they were just being ignored. This was the best pink and white i have had in years!! clean salon, quiet, and the attention to detail... i have never had a pink and white where you couldnt tell i had nearly no nail to work with! My first visit. I'm only doing a pedicure because the lady who does gel nails wasn't there. It's Saturday at 5, I walk in and the place is empty. My experience with nail salons in Phoenix at 5 pm on Saturday is they're packed. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they might not employ a dozen more people to work there to bring in more business. They're a husband and wife team and they're absolutely the nicest people I've met here in Utah. The place is super clean, nice and neat. They asked if there was anything particular on Netflix I wanted to watch. Score! My pedicure was the top of the line paraffin wax. It lasted an hour and 20 minutes. I, personally like for my feet and legs to be massaged very firmly. They didn't do that. That's why I gave them a 3. I'm going back for a full set of gels in 3 days and then I'll be able to judge on that part as well. UPDATE: I went back for a gel manicure and I just love love love it! I chose a very simple pink polish because I have a job interview so I wanted to stay simple. The manicure was fabulous and my jagged cuticles, dry hands and broken nails looked gorgeous when Tam was finished. She's a perfectionist and takes great pride in her work. I'm more impressed because they remembered me, asked how my mom was doing etc. we all like to be remembered so this was a huge deal for me. When I move back to phoenix I'll be a little sad that I can't take them with me but I think I've made friends for life. read more

After years of trying nail salons, once each and deciding to keep looking... I have FINALLY found a place to stay. Granted, I don't go very often... just the occasional girl's date pedi with my sisters or teenage daughter, but I've always been frustrated with something about other nail salons. Mostly the fact that their prices aren't clear and when you get to the register they try and charge you more than you expected, then play the "I don't speak much English" card when you're trying to clear up the price inconsistency. Or, once I went to a salon and they scrubbed off my calluses so hard that my feet were tender for weeks. Or the fact that they talk in another language to each other the entire time and you swear they're talking trash about you... Well, FINALLY, a place to feel comfortable. Radiant Nails is run by a husband and wife team who are friendly, considerate, and professional. Hands down the BEST place I've ever been! The place was amazingly CLEAN and they had these cool fourescent light panels that made it look like sky lights. The ambiance was so nice and they had a nice tv program on the entire time. Then when something came on afterward that I said under my breath to my friend, "Oh, I don't think I want to watch that" cuz it was about a sensitive subject on a news program, Tony must have heard me because he discretely changed the channel a few minutes later. So thoughtful. They got 4 of us in at a time, (with a call-ahead appointment that morning) on a double mother-daughter lunch date, even though there are only two of them working. They seemless traded spots between all 4 of us, and treated us like the most important customers. They didn't rush on us at all, even though they turned town 4 walk-ins while we were there. We all got the Deluxe pedicure and it was long and soothing. Their massage chairs were very nice and not all run down like other salons. They also didn't talk to each other the whole time; they just professionally worked side by side and my friend and I felt totally comfortable just chatting the entire time, or relaxing. They weren't pushy about anything, and the price was exactly what we thought it would be at the cash register. It's like they sat and read all the negative reviews about other salons and looked at each other and said 'Hey, we got this! Let's take everything people HATE about salons and do it differently.' It is truly the opposite experience I've had everywhere else. I will keep coming back here every time!!! read more

Do not come here. This place is absolutely horrible. I came to do a deluxe pedicure and they are switching people, not getting my cuticles and rushing through. I asked them to specifically get my ingrown toe nails and they didn't even touch them. They're constantly stopping to answer the phone so the pedicure took twice as long. I have frequented many nail salons in the Salt Lake area, and have often been left disappointed. Imagine my surprise when I walked into Radiant Nails today to meet Tony and Tammi. I had not made an appointment, as I was merely in the area running some early errands. They both welcomed me into the salon and I found everything about them to be warm and friendly. I had a wonderful pedicure and just asked to have my nails filed and cuticles cleaned up, as I cannot wear polish at work. Everything about my experience was top notch.
