I also got a full acrylic set, But this was not what i wanted or asked for. Asked for medium narrow almond. And got short, wide and squsre. Picked out a regular non-gel color and i was verbal about just using regular color. Tech was pushing for gel over and over, i said no gel three times! And guess what!!! She did gel and charged me. I came here for a fill and her to draw one flower on each ring finger so that's two nails I asked for a flower, she didn't even know how to do a flower. I will include a picture, then not even a week later they lifted and my nails kept snatching my hair. I felt like they were going off time. Do we pay hourly here or what? At the end I was the only client in the building and the two employees went in back and cooked food when the front door was open and that made so many flies come in. Worst pedicure I've ever had. If I could leave less than one star I would. First nail tech got gel polish all around my cuticles and got frustrated when I asked for it to be fixed. Someone else took over and did an equally terrible job and was again visibly frustrated when I asked for it to be fixed. Maybe I'm unreasonable to expect there not to be polish on my cuticles and skin. They also try to work on multiple clients at once and make you wait forever. Don't waste your time here. I love this place and I feel like I've finally found my new spot here in Midvale. I got a gel polish manicure and love it! It's clean, bright and has your typical nail salon vibe. Even when it's busy it's not chaotic which I feel is important when you're getting your nails done. The lady doing my nails was very nice and I wish I got her name. She took her time, removed my old gel polish the correct way by letting them soak under the foil and then gently buffing it off. I hate when other salons drill the old polish off because they want to hurry and move on to the next client. This location is right next to Top Golf, with plenty of parking. I walked in wanting a pedicure and was serviced right away and didn't have to wait. Prices are so reasonable! You get a hot stone massage, with pedicure for around $25, while most places will charge almost $40. Everything inside looked remodeled, and my pedicure sink was clean. My pedicure looked beautiful, and I appreciated them taking their time, even though it was a simple pedicure! The hot stone massage is perfect for when you work a job staying on your feet all day. It's the perfect way to treat yourself but not worry about breaking the bank. I will gladly make the drive out the way to come to this location! read more

Very unprofessional. The girl who did my manicure was in hurry and was basically doing me a favor by doing my nails. Did not do any of the steps properly and in fact forgot until i reminded her. Not being able to understand english further complicates the conversation. I understand you may not be fluent in a language but not understanding at all and being in a job which requires interaction with customer, leads to bad experience. My French tip nails chipped after just three days and i did power nails. (Suppose to be stronger and last longer) They did not shape my nails well at all they look sooooo ugly.... I accompanied my wife to this place, which is located by top golf. Didn't think of ever getting a pedicure but I think like most men that end up getting one I was talked into it. I was a little nervous in getting it seeing as my feet have been though alot hahaha I constantly wearing boots for work. I received the deluxe pedicure which included a nail clipping, paraffin wax, hot wax, and massage. The tech I had was very nice and took very good care of my feet. Overall it was a great experience. I've been to Glamorous Nails numerous times and it jsut keeps getting worse! I made an appt for my daughter and I the day before, we get there at our appt time, and are told to wait (as usual), so after 15 minutes of waiting they did my daughter's entire pedicure before they were going to start on mine. I said I didn't have time and we left. Why would I want to sit and wait for my daughter to get her toes done and then her to have to wait and watch me get mine done??? We made an appt!! Also, because they were busy, they "forgot" to put the top clear coat of polish on her toes, didn't do the usual lotion and hot towel on her legs, the total pedicure took 20 minutes after they started and then she tried to put my daughter's shoes on and messed up her polish-I guess she need the chair for someone else. Really not happy. I'm going to find somewhere else to go because every time we make an appt, we wait, and wait and wait. They need to either do walk in onlys or tell the people the call that they don't have that time available. read more

My husband loved his, but mine was the best I have ever had. Jennifer Luong is an absolute gift! She was meticulous with my pedi and followed through with my mani as well. I've been here twice, once for a pedicure and once for a gel manicure. I had a great experience with my pedicure, it was $25 for regular polish. The lady was nice and it lasted a long time. My gel manicure was a different story. I had a younger girl and she was definitely trying to get out of there. My nails were ridiculously clumpy and I was able to peel them off so easily. They also chipped almost immediately, whereas I can usually go 3-4 weeks before needing a polish change. She called her boyfriend while I was there and talked on the phone during my manicure. Can't say I'll go back for a manicure but I would recommend a regular polish pedicure with one of the other women. read more

This was my 3rd time going to this nail salon. The first two times were great. The girl took her time and did a wonderful job. This time around I was sooo disappointed. I called to see if they even had any openings for a full and pedicure. They said yes, come right away (I was already driving) so I made it there in about 7 mins. I waited for about 20 mins... then finally they have me sit down. A gentleman helps me (I have no problem whether it'd be female or male doing my nails). I thought it was pretty impressive and I loved the finished product. Most of the people complaining here seem to go in with a specific time frame and that's just ridiculous. I had an appointment at 1:30 and my nails weren't started until after 2. It was a last minutes appointment so I can give some grace there but the manicure was not good. None of my nails have the polish all the way to the end, it's like a weird reverse french manicure. My cuticles look terrible and there's still visible first underneath my nails from playing with my kid. She made no attempt to clean it. There's also nail polish all over the ends of my fingertips which is odd since the polish doesn't even reach the tips of my nails. 2 stars because they gave me water and fit me in on short notice but the actual manicure was not at all worth $30. read more

I'm REALLY picky about my nails, and Le does an amazing job she is truly the best nail tech I've found in Utah, and I've bounced around trying to find one for years! Noticed this shop whole I was running errands at stores near by. I was seated fairly quickly and the staff was very nice. I had a pedicure with gel polish, my mom and sister both had fullsets. I didn't feel like the nail technician was rushing, and she did an amazing job. They didn't take too long to finish up my sister's and mothers nails. The salon is clean and the staff seemed very professional. While I was talking to the technician, i found out that I recently changed hands not to long ago. This is my usual salon since it's close to where I live. They have to-be-expected prices. Their techs are all nice and professional from what I have experienced. They have a couple of different options for pedicures for different prices, but I've never been disappointed. After my most recent visit there, I somehow kicked the wheel on my cart at target and chipped my polish. I stopped back in, literally 2 hours after I'd left, and they had no problem giving me a quick touch up. They offer a punch card that gives you a discount after 10 visits. They accept walk-ins. Their equipment (massage chairs) works. The only thing I wish for this place is that it was open earlier in case I'm out earlier in the AM on a Saturday and want my nails done.
