I think it was eucalyptus and the warm foot soak felt so relaxing. Really enjoyed the exfoliating scrub after a long cold winter. Beautiful salon! Finding a clean salon these days is close to impossible. Designer nails is a new salon. Very clean, staff is courteous, and they use one time use supplies which is important for sanitary purposes. I was really happy to find a salon and plan on going back. Pedicure was done properly with great clean techniques. The only reason I gave them a four-star was they had trouble with the plastic liner in the basin, otherwise services were great. read more

I'm so glad that I decided to give it another go because Designer Nails (DN) in West Jordan truly "nailed" it. What caught my attention was the detailed colorful designs and clean manicures for short nails on their yelp page. A lot of nail salons don't do well with short nails and compromise on the design due to limited space. I showed the team at DN my Pinterest board and they were able to instantly recreate my design. Inspiration and results photo are included. Apologies, I'm not a hand or feet model but tried to get the best photos possible of the finished results. Here is what I ended up getting: -Manicure with Gel $35 -Deluxe Pedicure $40 -Gel polish add on $15 Overall, it was a little pricey but I had such a great experience and would definitely return. The staff was very attentive and fast with the service. I can't wait to pick out my next design and have them create it for me. BAD REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE KEPT GETTING DELETED Horrible experience. A young girl did my nails and she had such a bad attitude and was also talking shit about me the whole time, assuming I didn't understand Vietnamese. Even my husband said they shouldn't have been this obvious to talk shit about customers in front of their face. She also raised price on me on a whim when I asked for a different shape on nails, and asked me very aggressively, "why didn't you tell me earlier"? They ended up charged me almost 100 dollars, way higher then advertised prices with no explanations. Not only she's rude but also very rough on my fingers and made them hurt pretty bad. She also never talked to me, just put her headphone on and watched a show on the phone while doing my nails. She didn't even let me choose the colors. When I told her the color she put on me was not what I wanted, she got so annoyed. The male tech had to come to help ease the tension. The worst customer services I've ever experienced. After reading more reviews here, I realized this is not the first time they treated customers with such aggression. Avoid if you don't want to have your whole day ruined. And don't think just because they're Asian, they're not racist. They treated my white husband much better than me. read more

I have just had my second pedicure with Hanna. She is excellent and took great care of me. The price is reasonable, and they even give a discount if you pay cash. Pricing was as advertised, they take care in cleanliness, very comfortable and well working massage chairs as well. They were certainly busy which is also a good sign. I scheduled an appointment, and they didn't make me wait forever like some of the nail salons. I was also greeted by name when I walked in and that was only my second time. I'm from Chicago. my first time was an amazing experience until they overcharged my card. bill was $95 (with tip) Nina charged me another $70. so that's $70+$95=$170 Nina denied all. Manager Michael said money will be in my bank account in 3days. than in 5days. THAN he end up giving me gift card instead $70. on top of it all they were rude by speaking their language to each other when I came in to ask for my $ back . TODAY I went into get fill done. I asked for BLUE CATEYE. THEY DID DARK PURPLE INSTEAD. (color blind) nails look horrible and fat and thick. it was unprofessional and rude on their behalf. if I was YOU. I would make sure they are not steeling your money like they did mine. they all denied for takin. our more money than they supposed too. I had a gift card instead of $70 I usef today a balance of $47. I still have $23 left on it. My god!!! Please do not go here! Both my sister and I went to 'treat' our selves and damn!!!!! Both nail technicians literally 'huffed' and threw up their arms at us--for asking them to fix their mistakes. My technician filed my nails so poorly and so jagged that I had to have him put tips on to fix the length. My sisters tech cut her nails down then put tips on them. They dip is wavy and uneven. The shape is laughable. They didn't even put dip fully on the nail bed. And worst of all he spent so much time 'filing' my nail (actually just filing my finger) that he filed a cut into my actual finger and exposed my nail beds on several nails--very painful. When I started bleeding he put some chemical that stung (still does) on my cut to make it stop bleeding. What a full nightmare. Then had the balls to charge us for a manicure when my sisters cuticles weren't even pushed back and mine were barely trimmed. No lotion, nothing that would indicate a manicure. Oh wait!! The worst worst worst part of it!! He used a nail tip to PEEL OFF my old dip. Ripped apart my nails. Who peels off dip? Short of turning back time, only a full refund will 'fix' this as I now have to go somewhere else to fix this mess. read more

I usually get wonderful service when I get my nails done with Nina. They had an older male nail designer put a new set on me. He didn't put any primer or base coat before putting on the nail polish. I asked him about it and he told me with a new set this process would be fine. 3 days later my new nail set started falling off. I was in LA or would have come back to Designer Nails for fix.
