My first visit to Sego Lily Spa and I will be back! I choose the Stone Crop Body Treatment with products from Eminence Organics. My skin is glowing!!! First step is a scrub, then moisturizer. I opted for the scalp massage. (Your hair is going to get steamed, so plan on that, and don't skip the scalp massage!) Then you sit in the steam shower for 10-15 minutes and rinse off. Finally, you are lightly massaged with oil and your skin ends up so soft and glowing. Plus, I am so relaxed! Natalie C. was my my therapist and she's an esthetician, but the oil application felt like a relaxation massage. Was really looking forward to relax today and did not receive that. It was my first time in using a gift from my spouse and the last half hour of my massage was ruined by loud yard work.. it was so loud I couldn't relax and was really hard for me to enjoy the full massage. When I expressed this to the front desk all she said was "sorry I can tell the owner" and I left paying full price for a dissatisfied service. Finally got my massage today. Annalyce did a fantastic job and offered some helpful advice. She deserves 5 stars. On my way out I tried to book another appointment. I was told Annalyce was leaving at the end of this month so I asked for another female therapist. I was told it would be March before I could get another appointment. I tried to schedule one for mid-month, but was told I would have to wait for all their waitlist clients to be called first, then they would give me a time. Forget it, I am taking my business down the road to another spa that actually gave me an appointment when I wanted it. I had a great experience here! The meditation room is beautiful and the two waterfalls were an amazing feature. I don't know what they put in the coconut water, but I will tell you I went back multiple times. It was delicious. I've never enjoyed it before. They had some yummy snacks while you relax as well as teas and the above mentioned coconut water. Big beautiful fireplace. I was there for a sisters weekend trip. One sister had a hydrafacial, another a standard facial and I did a body wrap. Both of my sister loved their facials and the ladies who did them. I'm not a fan of steam rooms, I feel like I can't breathe, but I really enjoyed the dry sauna. They had sooo many things up front to purchase that looked amazing. I went to check out after and the front desk girl ignored me as I stood at the register, a guy came in from the street and she proceeded to help him with a long gift card purchase. I left after waiting for 20 minutes and when she called she was very nice and apologized and I told her I would call tomorrow with giftcard number. The next day I got spam calls form a front desk girl named Sharistin, she threatened to call the POLICE to file a report because she had called me twice at 9:00 am and I hadn't answered! I didn't feel like it was done by an amateur, I didn't feel like I couldn't ask for what I actually wanted, I didn't feel rushed. It was truly a wonderful experience If you are planning on going here, plan to spend a great deal of time. This is a place you bring a book and truly relax. Spread out your services, spend time in the sauna and in the meditation area. Take a moment to breath. Highly recommend. A couple points of critique: 1. The showers didn't work. Not a huge deal, but disappointing 2. I booked return services at the end of my visit, and the receptionist that helped me was a bit uppity. What's more, I called to adjust my appointments and it turned out that she didn't even save them. I had to completely rebook. Had I not called, I would have showed up and not had appointments at all. 3. The receptionist that came to refresh the meditation area was very loud. She wasn't respecting the space, in my opinion. My sister and I visited today and saw Miria and Natalie for a facial and pedicure. They were both so friendly and kind, yet performed all services with a great technique and professionalism. They walked us through each step in the treatments so nothing was a surprise. The facilities were very clean and welcoming. Even though we couldn't enjoy all the amenities (due to COVID), the meditation room and treatment rooms were very cleanly maintained. This is my SECOND last minute cancellation at Sego Lily Spa is the last month. The first time (at the Bountiful location) I was told at 9:00pm that my 10:00am 4 hour spa day was canceled because their Esthetician quit last minute. And today I receive a call while driving to my appointment that the massage therapist is sick, 45 minutes prior to my appointment. If I were to have called them and said I was sick I would have been charged 1/2 the cost of the services. But they can call and cancel on me (twice) while driving there. Great experience! The couple soak was really relaxing. The room was dimly lit with a cozy fireplace and large tub. I loved the sparkling cider and the snacks that were included. There were cold towels, eye masks, and cold water to drink as well. I thought the pricing was fair for everything that came with the soak. It was $60 for 20 minutes. The two masseuse for the couple massage were very friendly and thorough. Their names are Carter and Dani. I definitely recommend them! The classic massage was $85 for an hour. They did the entire body and had placed some heating pads on the shoulders and eyes at one point. It was really soothing and I didn't feel overheated. They asked how hard we would like our massage and frequently asked if we wanted lighter or harder pressure. They also asked frequently if we were overall doing okay and let us know what steps they were going to do next which I really liked. After the massage was over, they told us what area they found to be the most tense and my masseuse even told me an exercise that would help relax that area. I really appreciated that extra gesture from her. I definitely recommend Sego Lily to anyone looking to get pampered. They also have a sauna in the changing room that I really enjoyed. There were a lot of extra products that I found really useful like the hair dryer and straightener after I had rinsed off in the shower. There's also combs, hairspray, mouthwash, moisturizer, extra towels, and water to drink. They have a restroom, changing room, and shower as well. I was really impressed with how well stocked and nice the changing room was. As for the lounge area, it was very spacious with really soothing music and a warm fire to sit next to. I'm dropping them a star because they recently took away the treats we loved from the couples soak. I'd rather take a discount on the soak and not get the items we won't consume. My oh my!! My hubby surprised me with a couples afternoon at the spa after a 10 day work trip. What a way to spend the day. This location is truly designed as a day spa with divided locker rooms including showers, lockers, changing rooms, sauna and all the necessary items on the ladies side to blow dry and straighten hair when you finish treatments! You could absolutely spend hours here. Our treatment consisted of a 20 min tub soak and a couples aromatherapy massage. We met up with our service provider in the cozy waiting area which is filled with comfy couches, fire place, snacks and water. Our therapist took us to our room and explained the soak. The tub was filled with perfect temp water and a lovely fragrance. They provided chilled sparkling cider, ice water, chocolate dipped Oreos, and chocolate Carmel's. We enjoyed it all. The 20 min in the tub was the perfect amount of time to relax before the massage. At the knock on the door we dried off and slipped under the covers on the two massage tables. Two therapists provided aromatherapy massages and each was delightful. These were relaxing massages designed to reduce tension and it totally worked! I had to focus to make sure I didn't fall asleep after 14 hours on a plane but boy was I happy to have the massage to remove the knots from travel. After the massage we showered up in the locker rooms and got ready for a nice dinner. The bill was surprisingly low for this type of treatment and all the amenities of the spa. The locker room had a steam room and sauna and I felt like I could just hang out there all day if I could haha Our couples massage was so relaxing, yet really worked out the knots and tension. I had Marcus and he talked to me about areas to focus on and he was able to find all the spots perfectly and gave me feedback afterward about stretches I can do. Andrea E did my facial, which was actually my favorite part because I've never had my scalp/face massaged like that and the treatments felt amazing on my dry skin. I was afraid I would come out looking like a lobster because my skin gets red and irritated so easily, but the treatment reduced redness and left me hydrated. I loved the strawberry rhubarb hyaluronic acid masque so much that I bought it and I wish I could buy more products that she used and recommended, but I will definitely be back! The only constructive criticism I could give would be that we would tell our specialist a little bit about our face or areas to focus on for the massage and they would hand us the menu and ask if we wanted to add anything extra. We both looked at the menus and didn't know what anything was, so we said no. I think if we tell you it's our first time and I have dry/red skin, for example, they could've recommended certain add ons and explained how they would be beneficial. However, in November I thought ahead and scheduled an appt for two massages as a holiday treat for myself and a family for December 23. When I called to confirm the appts was told by the woman answering the phone that these appts were actually "wait list" appts. NEVER a "I'm sorry for your frustration." I opted for the stone crop treatment. I absolutely love being wrapped up like a burrito. If you haven't done this, do not wait any longer. My sister got a classic massage which is more her vibe. She said it was amazeballs. I worked with Ashley who really made sure that I knew what to expect and treated me very well. I felt very good around her which anyone knows is important when getting these kind of treatments. We used the steam room and also had tea. They also have some snacks that you can have if you'd like. Only pit for me was that you can tell this location is busy. Some of the lockers had not been replaced with new robes and towels.
